Mid-Century home overlooking tidal salt marsh. Amazing marsh view! .4 miles to a beautiful bayside beach. Less than a mile to conservation area. Located in the highly desirable Indian Neck area of Wellfleet, this home has that beachy Wellfleet dirt-road feeling. Ever changing marsh views from deck and floor-to-ceiling windows. Large eat-in screened porch. Enclosed, updated outdoor shower. A short ride to Wellfleet village center, art galleries, ponds and the ocean.

Up the hill and stairs to the Main Level: Open concept living, dining and kitchen space has long views, deck and screened porch with table seating for 6. Full bath with tub and shower. Bedrooms 1 and 2, queen and two twins, are on this level along with a/c split unit.

Ground Level: Bedroom #3, 2 twins, with walkout slider to private patio and outdoor shower. If you want an authentic Wellfleet mid-century experience, with one of the loveliest views in town and the summery, Wellfleet feeling in the charming Indian Neck area, then this home is for you!

Non-refundable $250.00 fee (includes administrative fee and damage waiver assurance) Fee plus applicable state and local taxes. Linen package is available at additional cost upon request. Allergy note: Tenants not allowed to bring pets, but owner does have a dog.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was the perfect getaway cottage. Plenty of room ,everything we needed was available to us. The screened in porch was wonderful and breakfast on the open porch looking over the marsh was great. It was a great starting point for our walks on the beach and on the roads on Indian Neck.

Great vacation home, with caveats

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a lovely house in a great location with a view of the marsh and an easy walk to a relatively empty bay side beach. The house is roomy and the air conditioner, which we only used a little, is really worthwhile for those few ultra hot days. The house lacks a dryer, which is one of its few major drawbacks. The other complaint we have is that the rental company now charges a non refundable insurance fee instead of a security deposit. I have to wonder if that's even legal. It's yet another way to gouge us summer vacation renters.

Hi David, so sorry about the added charge this year. It has actually worked very well for the upkeep of the homes, damages are reported quickly and addressed quickly, our houses seem to be in much better condition overall. We are very glad you enjoyed this home again this year! Melissa

A great house in a great location with one caveat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a wonderful house located in a quiet and easily to access neighborhood in Wellfleet. The screen porch and deck are two of our favorite features of the house and we spend much of our time there. Every morning we watch the birds over the marsh and this year we saw an owl at dusk!!The outdoor shower is great and the kitchen is well stocked and there is a nice gas grill. There are three bedrooms in the house. Two on the main floor that are comfortable and can be cooled by the air conditioning on a very hot day. it's the basement bedroom that is the caveat. Four of the seven nights of our most recent week, the basement bedroom was so unbearably hot that our son was forced to sleep on the couch in the living room. There is no way to properly cool that basement bedroom so be forewarned if you need to use that room for a bedroom.

Thank you for the detailed and thoughtful response. The owners have never experienced that room as hot, so they will look into the cause and do everything they can to remedy it. (You saw an owl!!). UPDATE: The downstairs of this home is naturally very cool, but the tenant left the sliding glass door open, hoping to cool it off, when it was extremely hot, causing the bedroom to heat up. This is definitely not a characteristic of this house. Melissa
