Beautiful, two-story chalet with spectacular views of Bonne Bay & Gros Morne!

Beautiful, spacious two-story, prow design chalet with unobstructed spectacular views of Bonne Bay & Gros Morne mountain! Excellent hiking trails within walking distance! Five minute walk to town where you can pick up boat tours to explore Bonne Bay or indulge in Woody Point's superb restuarants & coffee shops right on the water!

The main floor of the chalet has two bedrooms each with a queen size bed. It also has a full bathroom with walk-in shower and laundry area, a fully-equipped kitchen with an open concept kitchen/dining/living room area all overlooking Gros Morne mountain and Bonne Bay.

The upstairs also has two additional bedrooms each with a queen size bed, another full bathroom, with a tub/shower combo. There is also a sitting area on the second floor which overlooks the main living area. From here you can also enjoy the view of Bonne Bay and Gros Morne mountain which is absolutely spectacular. This view can also be enjoyed from the deck or the main living area.

We have a BBQ and outdoor area for our guests to enjoy overlooking the bay.

Additional Space:
The Lower Deck: There is a lower unit apartment with a separate entrance available to guests who are already renting the main chalet. This apartment has two queen bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, dining and living room area & laundry. Please contact us for details on cost per night if you are interested. (note the Lower Deck is not rentable on its own)

This was a great property and perfect for our family. We had friends stay in the apartment downstairs. The layout, the kitchen, all the little things you need to spend four days. Really great.We even traded bottled bar clams for bottled smoked mackerel with the neighbour. We had a great time.

Phenomenal Stay on the Water

This place was phenomenal. The views cannot be beat. The inside was very nice and had everything we needed (including a high chair and pack and play on request). It's a great location to explore the South Side of Gros Morne including the Tablelands.Could not recommend a stay here more!

Beautiful property overlooking Bonne Bay. Excellent location for exploring Gros Morne. The property was clean and the kitchen was very well provisioned with everything needed for cooking and bbq’ing. Paula was great to communicate with and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would return in a heartbeat. Million dollar view. Thanks Paula!

Comfortable,clean,beautiful views, great hiking. So many places to discover and the area is very scenic. We found some really awesome restaurants with great food and service. The people are friendly and very helpful.

Woody Point is beautiful—scenic, walkable, and friendly, with some great local shops and restaurants. It was the perfect home base for hikes in the Tablelands and Gros Morne, plus boat tours around Bonne Bay and Western Brook Pond.We had a great stay. The view from the deck is unbelievable, and the home was exactly as described and pictured. It was spotless and comfortably accommodated the four of us.Paula was fantastic—quick to respond and happy to answer all our questions. This place is a gem. I’d absolutely recommend it.

Moonlight Reign

The chalet was exceptionally clean and everything was as advertised. The view from the chalet was awesome. Woody Point is a quaint village with a vast number of activities to keep one busy. Being next door to Gros Moure National Park was a wonderful perk. Thanks for the privilege for staying at your lovely well appointed chalet.

Gem in Gros Morne

6 of us (3 couples) stayed at this wonderful chalet in Gros Morne. The house is very well situated within walking distance of Woody Point restaurants and bar and with a beautiful view of the water. It was well appointed with everything you could require for a trip, including a very nice BBQ. Woody point has a cute bar and restaurant and small grocery store. We had a lovely meal at the Gros Morne Inn one night. I highly recommend this house and I can't wait to come back!

Words can’t explain the view!

Great location with everything you could want. High quality! If you intend to see the Anchors Aweigh show or the Western Brook boat tour understand it is a one hour car ride around the bay. On the plus side the tablelands hike is just down the road. Ross from Ontario

Loved the location for our week in Gros Morne

The house was the perfect spot for our group of 8. 4 adults, 4 children. I am glad we chose to stay on the South side of the bay. We enjoyed hiking, visiting the shore in Trout River. Boiling our own lobsters and relaxing on the deck. I did not see whales however one evening in the fog I heard their unmistakable blow as they surfaced very close to the shore. I will definitely return to Woody Point for a future adventure.

Outstanding in Woody Point!

Superlative in every way. Clean and welcoming, thoroughly stocked with kitchen and bedding requirements, also secondary items like condiments, coffee, Kleenex --- things often neglected by hosts. Living area windows and deck face 120 degree view of Bonne Bay and Gros Morne opposite; a ring of conifers "hides" adjacent properties and provide some birding entertainment. The host, Paula was readily accessible, and was extremely helpful in supplying local contacts for tours, restaurants, etc. We highly recommend this property!

What an amazing time we had at Paula’s place in Woody Point! Everything was perfect! If you are visiting Gros Morne with a group of friends or family I would highly recommend this place. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook up some good meals. The views from the kitchen and living areas were amazing, from the morning sun rise to sun set the deck was a great place to hang out. The 2 bedrooms up and 2 bedrooms down provided privacy for everyone and the beds were comfy too! The location is great, albeit we did need to drive 1 hour to get to Gros Morne Mountain and Rocky Harbour but there was also lots to do in Woody Point and Trout River as well so overall the location was great. We have just returned and can not wait to go back!

Amazing views!

We stayed in The Reading Room house as this listing was not completely finished for our dates. The hosts were very accommodating. We really enjoyed our week there.. Everything was clean and ready for us. The kitchen was well equipped, there was plenty of space for three family couples (2 spare bedrooms). The stairs are open (no railing on one side) and probably not appropriate for young children but we had no problem. A second shower would have been welcome. But the wrap around deck with the terrific views and the reading room upstairs with the same great views more than made up for this. Really a lovely place.
