Tauranga Bay - Moments to the Beach, 4 Bedrooms, Fully Fenced & Well Equipped
Tauranga Bay Bach is a well-equipped and beautifully furnished beach retreat that can comfortably accommodate 8 guests. The house features 4 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay for you and your group. Large decks open to a fully fenced yard perfect for entertaining, activities or relaxing in the sun.
Our property is on a rear site, that backs onto the overflow of Tauranga Bay Campground. There is plenty of room for games such as swingball, petanque or corn hole, with the afternoon sun its great entertainment during afternoon drinks. The covered deck allows to be outdoors regardless of the weather and acts as another lounge and main dining area. We have had 22 people seated for dinner one Easter.
Tauranga Bay takes you back to the good old days, being a small community, typical kiwi baches, no houses on the waterfront, limited wifi and a long stretch of golden sand which is never too populated. At low tide there are two bays either side of the main beach that are great for exploring, checking out the rock pools or digging for tuatuas.
Close to Whangaroa Harbour, and 10 minutes to Kaeo, you are only a stones throw away from the necessities, allowing you to fully relax and enjoy the peaceful surrounds.
Whangaroa Harbour offers a boat ramp, and the Whangaroa Club which is great for a drink after a long day out on the water, or simply to watch the catches being weighed in. The Club also serves lunch and dinner. If you are lucky to hook up some kaimoana, we have a craypot and fishing bay for filleting fish and hanging dive/snorkel gear.
For exploring and walks, at Whangaroa Harbour you can walk up St Pauls Rock, the scenic trail at Mahineapua or scale the Rainbow Warrior Memorial at Matauri Bay.

Based in the Waikato, we simply fell in love with Tauranga Bay due to the beautiful beach and the stunning location for fishing, diving and relaxing in the sun. It is a great community with a kiwi bach feel. Being a destination location, it is safe for kids to explore. We love sharing this magical spot with others as it offers a true getaway from the stresses of life.

There is always space on the long sandy beach, with no properties overlooking the ocean. The estuary across the road is great for kayaking and paddleboarding. There are two bays either side of the main beach that you can access at low tide, which makes for a great morning/afternoon walk, exploring the rock pools and climbing rocks.

Tauranga Bay Bach is well equipped for entertaining, relaxing and creating holiday memories. Only a short walk to the beach, you can hear the waves crashing on the shore at night, making it the ideal place for a beach holiday.
Outside table is perfect for afternoon drinks and long lazy dining and large enough to host two families. Being undercover it provides shade in the heat of the day and shelter from the rain.
The rear lawn is ideal for games, whether its swing ball, petanque or corn hole, many laughs have been had amongst friendly competition. If you are unfortunate to experience the odd shower, there are board games, jigsaw puzzles, PlayStation, Lego, Crossword Puzzles, magazines & books and DVD's for those rainy days.
