The Space:

Villa Preciosa is a charming 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom apartment nestled in the heart of historic Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. This vibrant retreat offers a perfect blend of modern comfort and old-world charm, making it the ideal base for your unforgettable Puerto Rican adventure. Villa Preciosa is conveniently situated on the second level of a historic building, and here's what makes it truly special: it's the only unit on this floor! This unique feature ensures complete privacy and a serene atmosphere during your stay.



Please note that there is no elevator access; however, the unit is located on the 2nd floor.



Villa Preciosa offers a simply spectacular location right in the heart of Old San Juan, walking distance to a variety of shops, restaurants, and all the tourist attractions this wonderful city has to offer. Whether you’re here to explore San Juan or simply unwind in style, our colonial apartment promises a stay to remember.



Additionally, the unit is equipped with a washer and dryer in case you need to do laundry during your stay. The machines are not seen in the pictures but they are located in the living room area, behind one of the doors visible in the pictures.



CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: The building next door is currently undergoing construction. Please expect construction noise during working hours (7 AM - 4 PM), especially on weekdays, but may include some weekends.





LIVING AREAS AND KITCHEN



​​Villa Preciosa offers a cozy living space, featuring a sofa and flat screen TV. The living room seamlessly connects to a fully stocked kitchen and dining area, making it convenient for meal preparation and dining. Additionally, there's a full bathroom adjacent to this area for your convenience, ensuring a comfortable stay during your visit. The living areas open up to an inviting outdoor terrace.



The kitchen was recently updated with new cabinets and modern countertops. You will surely spend time socializing and cooking in the beautiful kitchen that features a dining table with seating for 4. There is a coffee maker, 4-burner stovetop, oven, microwave, and fridge. It is a small but fully equipped kitchen perfect for an extended stay.





OUTDOOR TERRACE



As you step outside, you'll find a barbecue grill ready for outdoor cooking adventures, and a spacious dining table for 6 guests where you can enjoy your meals al fresco. This seamless indoor-outdoor connection allows you to relish the fresh air and dine in a picturesque setting right from the comfort of your living area. This space is the perfect place to gather your group after a long day exploring the enchanting city of Old San Juan.





SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS



Villa Preciosa boasts three cozy bedrooms featuring connecting doors, you'll enjoy the flexibility of maintaining easy access while still enjoying the comfort of your own space. It can comfortably sleep 8 guests, ensuring a restful night's sleep for everyone. Each room can also be accessed directly via the outdoor terrace.



The master bedroom features a king bed with an ensuite bathroom that has been recently renovated, a comfortable chair, a closet with hangers and a smart TV with video streaming applications such as Netflix & Hulu. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed a fully renovated bathroom and an armoire with hangers to accommodate all your belongings. The third bedroom has two queen-sized beds, an armoire with hangers and access to an outdoor shower. All bedrooms have air conditioning.



Villa Preciosa boasts 3 full bathrooms, ensuring everyone has their own private space to freshen up. It has an additional outdoor shower for the more adventurous guests.



PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY): We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.





GETTING AROUND



If staying within the general San Juan/Metro area, we recommend moving around via Uber. **This property does not include parking.**



IMPORTANT: If you need to rent a car, there are various paid parking garages around Old San Juan - pricing varies as some charge by the hour and others have a flat rate.





LOCATION



Staying in Old San Juan is a truly unique experience filled with charm and character. From Villa Preciosa, you can comfortably walk anywhere within Old San Juan. The apartment is located on one of the quieter streets but still steps away from all the action. We recommend taking a cab or Uber from the airport and using Uber while you stay at Old San Juan. Renting a car is not necessary unless you are planning on road tripping. This is a truly walkable location with everything you need a short walk away. The apartment does not include parking. Nonetheless, there are convenient parking lots close to the apartment.



There are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites, all within walking distance:



Explore the El Morro Fort. There are daily tours of the fort and the large green areas have spectacular ocean views. Take a tour, have a picnic, and fly a kite. This is a must-do.



Explore the iconic Calle San Sebastian nightlife. There is a large assortment of bars on this strip which is a favorite among locals on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.



Breakfast at “La Mallorca”. This is a Puerto Rican landmark well known for its locally inspired breakfast and pastries.



Savor Stuffed Avocado. Healthy and "trendy" spot where you can create your own avocado bowl.



Take a stroll around “Paseo La Princesa”, a waterfront walkway which you can start off at El Morro and finish of the walk with a rum tasting at Princesa Gastrobar at the end of the trail.
