I wish I could rate this higher, but little things added up into big things over the stay, and it was more upsetting than enjoyable. I'll share a couple of positives about the place. View is nice, you can definitely see and somewhat hear the ocean. Nice sunsets, the deck was nice and the small yard was a little win for our service animal. It's a small spot, but could support 4 people.We came here on our anniversary really hoping to have a relaxing and connective time. Several things got in the way of this. Our first night, I had to change out the sheets as they were rough on the skin. It was clear they were older and many pairs of feet had roughed them up. It was hard to find a sheet set that wasn't ratty. When I replaced the sheets, the bed protector was also stained and older. I got the bed back together, but we soon found out the mattress was incredibly firm. I looked at the topper, and it was the thinnest piece of plain foam I'd ever seen on a bed in a rental or hotel room. It was old enough it was breaking apart.It's now 1130. Neither of us could rest, so we pulled out the couch bed hoping for softer. Unfortunately the sleeper bed would not keep your body off of the supports. We slept sitting our first night and had to buy our own topper the next night after waiting hours for a response. 60 bucks. Hot tub was gritty. The chlorine level was burning our eyes and skin. Scum bubbles, bits of white mould floating after using jets, needs water and filter change.
