The Space: The heart of the cottage is its spacious, open-plan living and kitchen area. Light spills in through skylights and from the courtyard garden. Modern lines, while the generous kitchen makes cooking hassle-free, with its large free-standing stove, dishwasher, and wide island bench.
Wide glass doors open onto the courtyard garden, a relaxingly peaceful area with an outdoor table and chairs. And beyond the roller door that forms the back fence, a small family park with Peppercorn trees, play equipment, and barbeque.
Located upstairs is the stunning master bedroom that looks over the park, and has an en suite and a walk-in wardrobe. The 3 bedrooms mean that it is possible to accommodate larger groups or families. The beds are very comfortable, and there is plenty of wardrobe space so you can unpack all your belongings and feel right at home.
The bathrooms are well fitted out. You will appreciate the luxury of a large freestanding bath – perfect for a soak after a busy day exploring beautiful Seddon. Heated towel racks and bathroom heating provide the ultimate in comfort during the cooler parts of the year.
Guests staying longer than a couple of days will be pleased to know there is a washing machine provided so that they can take care of their laundry needs with ease and comfort.

With the CBD readily accessible by public transport, you can enjoy the laid-back vibe of this great part of West Melbourne, yet be within easy reach of all Melbourne’s sights, shopping precincts, and attractions. And beyond Seddon, you’ll find a vibrant and diverse culture in the surrounding suburbs, with their multicultural restaurants, cafes, and bars. Yarraville village, just a short walk away, offers the Sun Theatre – ‘Melbourne’s best cinema outing’ on the village green – as well as Cornershop, Pizza d’Asporto, Barkly Johnson Deli & Wine, L'Uccellino, and many other fabulous places to eat and explore. Walk the other way, and you're in multicultural Footscray, another world of diverse, delicious, and quintessentially Melbourne experiences at your fingertips.
Getting Around: Seddon is just 7km from the CBD and easily accessible by public transport. Simply walk 5 minutes to Middle Footscray Station and take the Sunbury/Watergardens Line towards the city for 4 stops. Exit the train at Flinders Street Station. Alternatively, Seddon Station is about 12 minutes walk from the house. From there you can take the Werribee/Williamstown Line towards the city – just 5 stops to Flinders Street. From Flinders Street Station, you can easily access all of central Melbourne's most famous attractions, such as the Botanic Gardens, the National Gallery of Victoria, Southbank, Federation Square, Birrarung Marr, and Melbourne’s fabulous laneways. Use “Journey Planner” to help you navigate around inner and outer Melbourne. “Myki” is your reusable travel card for trains, trams, and buses in Melbourne.
Other Things to Note: Cleaning & Sanitizing - This property is cleaned before and after every guest to a hotel standard as well all regularly used surfaces wiped down with a high grade sanitizing solution.

Family time
The house in Seddon was in a perfect location - close to the shops and cafes in Seddon, and also close to Middle Footscray station if you wanted to go further a field. The house was well layed out for hosting our family for meals. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Really nice stay
This property was super nice, and had enough space for the whole family! Check in was also really easy.
There were a few things that weren’t replaced I think prior to our stay so there wasn’t enough during our 4 nights like hand wash and dish washing tablets. Only a small issue though and the hosts did mention that they would only be providing non perishables for 2-3 days but I thought that was odd and something I haven’t seen before in other apps especially if we’re staying for more than 3 days.
Only thought I’d mention since that was the only thing that stopped this from being a 5/5 stay! Would definitely still recommend to others
