This is a difficult apartment to rate. On one hand, it is inna great location on Flemington Rd. It has a lovely layout and finishes, pleasant outlook from the 9th floor (even though there is construction over the road, not the fault of the apartment). On the other hand, as a ‘shoes off’ apartment one would expect an excellently clean and well equipped apartment. This was not the case. Cleaning was very average. Simple things like no tea towel, how is one expected to wash and put away dishes if there is no tea towel. Extra blanket or doona for Melbourne’s cold nights, are we expected to run the air conditioner all night to stay warm. And after getting the ‘anything we can do’ email after the first night - nothing! So hosts, just a little more and it would be excellent.
