Overall a great place to stay. By far the stansout is the host. Almost instant responses and very non ambiguous with answers. As for the property., the grounds were well kept and clean, great views and a truly resort atmosphere. The interior was clean and had the basics for cooking. The kitchen area is large for a lot of guests and was easy to maneuver around. The overall place is massive we had over 23 folks and never felt confined. Keep in mind for children lots of glass, steps are all over and if not careful could get injured. Abundent in rooms however ran out of space for the 17 people 2 had to stay off property. Lots of bathrooms but not all had showers but it worked out. There is a pool table for entertainment. Lots of comfortable couches none of them fold out but if needed you can sleep on them. Only call out lots of space but sleeping areas filled up faster than expected. If i need to stay in a villa in hopland ca again i would rebook.

Amazing property for large families

Wonderful property for big groups. Check in was easy. The kids loved the pool. We cooked on the grill and made homemade pizzas. Just an incredible family weekend!

Even better than we expected

The house itself is even more picturesque than we expected, and that goes double for the surrounding countryside, which provided scenic views out every window. Comfortably fit our large party. The two dishwashers in the kitchen proved incredibly helpful. Great place for a multigenerational family vacation.

Wonderful stay in Hopland

We stayed at this amazing property with 4 families, each with 1-2 kids of varying ages (running from infant all the way up to 10 year olds). This was one of the most well appointed and well stocked vacation rentals I've ever stayed in! Each room has access to either an en suite bathroom or one very close, air conditioning and fans, multiple cooking areas (along with all of the utensils and materials you might need), multiple dishwashers! and an absolutely stunning grounds with the pool and wide open grass to play in. While the kids were awake, we hung out by the pool (with lots of seating and umbrellas) and walked over to Dancing Crow's tasting room and when they were asleep there was plenty of space away from the rooms for the parents to hang out and chat and play games. Was a dream of a stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay with a group!

Perfect house for family gathering

We rented this house for the family to stay at for our son's wedding at Campovida (only 5 min. away). We had 8 adults and 4 kids, and it was absolutely perfect. The house is so big that everyone was able to have their own space and not feel cramped. The house is spotless and has everything you need-kitchen is well-equipped, there are plenty of towels for the beautiful pool (unfortunately unheated) and hot tub, and the outdoor seating is plentiful. We were able to have the wedding brunch at the house and it worked out beautifully. Lastly, Jennifer was extremely accommodating and easy to work with. This house is highly recommended.

Great location for a large group

We had 4 families stay in the house, 8 adults and 6 teens, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The house is beautiful - the pictures don't do it justice. It's old but most of the spaces have been renovated. Everything was clean and well-equipped. Having six spaces with king size beds was very helpful. The second dishwasher was also helpful for a large group. The host was very responsive. One thing that the listing didn't make clear is that only 3 of the bedrooms have en suite baths. One has a bathroom across the hall, and another (the only non-updated bathroom) was fairly far away from the bedroom and down the hall. The sixth king size bed is in the second downstairs family room, with the full baths all upstairs. We ended up having all of the kids stay in the downstairs family room (2 in bed, 2 on couches, 2 on air mattresses), and then use their parents' bathrooms. It worked for us, but would not be a good fit for 5 or 6 couples. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house has character and is well-maintained. We would visit again.

Could be better for the price charged.

We arrived after sunset. Had a hard time finding the home. The address listed was of the vineyard's main office and not the home, which was on the next street. Couldn't reach the property manager after few texts/calls. Started doubting the genuinity of the listing. Frustrating experience when checking out. No instructions to lock the main door. Wasted more than an hour, gave up and exited from side door. Its a huge home. Lights were gone in few areas of the home. Game room experience was great. Kitchen was well equipped. Trash/Recycle receptacles were full in 2 days. Compactor in the kitchen never worked. Had to request the property manager to have them collected, along with 5 other issues to report. One of the bathroom upstairs shouldn't be called a full bath. Its too tiny, like a cruise ship one. The water quality was terrible, smelled/tasted rusty, probably because of corroded pipes. One of the bathrooms was clogged and completely unusable, had to report and luckily maintenance showed up next day and fixed it. One night, we saw a rat in the TV room, reported that and were told, it might be field mice, which is expected. One of the bedrooms circuit breaker tripped when a hair dryer was plugged in and we couldn't reset it. There was no power the whole night. The breaker apparently was twisted (being old) and never got reset until the maintenance person dropped by next day, opened the circuit breaker panel and figured it out. Thermostat settings in the home was a nightmare. Only some people in the group were able to sleep well. One who either liked it hot or cold. The entry of the downstairs bedroom is through restroom which was very wierd and un-welcoming. It was mostly cold, outdoor pool was unusable. Kids enjoyed the out door hot tub. There were two large fire places which were gushing cold air through and we struggled to keep the living area and the media room warm. Beware of cleaning the property before check out inspite of paying a hefty cleaning fee. That was totally unexpected and our cleaning fee was doubled. Wish the checkout list was disclosed prior to the booking. Overall, we had a great thanksgiving break at this property because of the amazing group of family and friends we were with. Enjoyed the yard space with some outdoor play.

Guests were angry for being charged extra after leaving house trashed. Threatened a bad review and did just that.

2 Dishwashers!

Lovely front yard with basketball court, flat grass area, tons of parking. Internet connection was from the Stone Age but we got it to work in the end. Lots of space for 5 families, pizza oven was fun. Thank you for letting us stay!

An Amazing Place

I rented the Villa for my husband’s 70th birthday celebration. I wanted family and friends to be able to all stay in the same house, not in separate casitas or hotel rooms. It turned out to be the perfect place for us. We had 9 adults and 3 children. The rooms divided out to be perfect for the group, and the house and grounds so large that no one felt cramped, nor that their room was second-best to any other. The location was perfect for a meeting point for those of us from northern Nevada, from Denver, and from Southern California. What a gorgeous valley, looking toward the hills, over the grape vines just outside the fences around the house. Several wineries literally next door or down the road, if you want a quick outing. But staying at the property is where we wanted to be. Too wonderful to leave for long. We were there in early June warm weather so were able to use the pool (which is not heated) so that gave us a lot more to do than you might have in cool weather, but the spa near the pool could also be used, if it were colder out. The kitchen is massive, almost two or double-size of every appliance. I hired private chefs for two dinners, to replace going out to restaurants with such a large group, and the chefs loved having so much space, not to mention cooking while looking right out the door at the gorgeous view. We also got great wood-fired pizzas and salads from the restaurant Stock Farm Hopland. The village of Hopland is about a 4-minute drive away. We spent a magical four nights here, and have memories I know no one will forget. Thank you, Jennifer, for making this home available and for answering my many questions so promptly.

Just perfect!

This home, property, and location was so great and is consistent with how it is represented in the listing. We got our family together for a long overdue reunion and it couldn't have worked out any better. It's been a week we are all still talking about how great it was. The host is fantastic - very professional, responsive, considerate, and thoughtful. Would definitely come back and highly recommend!

Thanksgiving Dinner 2021

Beautiful, magical house and grounds. We enjoyed the brick oven, pool table, walking around the area, biking, sitting out on the veranda. The rooms were adorable, with ample space and plenty of bathrooms for everyone. The kitchen was very well appointed with everything you need for a large family/friends dinner. Best Thanksgiving Dinner ever. Just wish we could have stayed longer. We'll be back.

Perfect reunion retreat

Our whole experience was amazing. The property had so much space to relax and enjoy. The pool and hot tub were great. The kitchen and pantry were amazingly stocked to cook a delicious group dinner. We especially enjoyed the brick pizza oven and made a bunch of home pizzas! Will definitely book again in the future.

Perfect setting for a beautiful weekend family event ~~ wedding.

We had several contacts with Jennifer before arriving and the house was perfect upon our arrival ~~ no problems getting inside. Getting there was clearly marked, and 6 cars arrived easily and safely ~~ one with a boat in the middle of the night. Temperatures were over 100 during our stay, so we were very grateful for both the pool and the air conditioning ~~ which was easy to use. We knew since we had 17 people and we recycle we might need extra trash bags, so brought our own and left them close to the outside bins. WE loved the fact that we all had our own bathrooms. We all decided that a small room was MUCH better than no extra bathroom. My brother and his wife loved the bedroom that went directly out to the hot tub and used it every morning. We used the venue next door for a wedding rehearsal dinner; but did all the cooking in the Jericho house. It had everything we needed to make a full dinner for 40 people ~~ including 3 ovens. We left the house pretty much as we found it and received a full refund. We could not have had a better time and ALL 17 of us want to return someday. Respectfully, Rikki

The house was clean, well organized, accurate to the description, well equipped with everything you need to enjoy a weekend. The communication with the property manager was great all the way along, and we had no issues, just joy, fun and great memories.

Pefect for our large group!!

The house is great for a large group of people! We were a group of 13 and all had plenty of space to sleep and hang out. The kitchen was huge and well equipped. The pool was perfect for our very, very hot weather stay! The only problem we had was the thermostat was set too high in the home before our arrival and due to above normal temps it was pretty hot in the house, particularly upstairs in the bedrooms. Once we got the thermostat figured out (with immediate help of owners) and the house cooled down, all was well. We purchased fans for the upstairs bedrooms for which the owners promptly reimbursed us. Again, we arrived in an above normal heatwave and owners couldn't have been more helpful. I would highly recommend this home to any large group. We had to make an effort to enjoy the NUMEROUS beautiful patios and living areas of this home it was so spacious!! Thank you Jen and Danny, our stay was wonderful!

Spacious home, nice pool.

Home was great and there are 4 bedrooms with own bathroom. Pool was very nice and well kept. Home was very clean and linens, towels, paper products were supplied. Home is close (30 minutes) to Healdsburg and many wineries. Quiet location, nice to be outside of Napa and avoid the crowds. The only flaw was that the kitchen could use a little updating but the kitchen was fully stocked with cookware. Jen was very helpful and attentive while planning our stay and available if we needed her during our stay. Recommend for couples! We will be back!

Wonderful!

My family from Europe booked this wonderful villa in Hopland where I had my wedding (at Campovida). Everyone had an exquisite time staying at this property. This place is by far the best in Hopland for large families who want to enjoy Northern Wine Country together.
