Three Beautiful Homes: The Smoke Rise Lodge, Barn, and Poppy`s Place - ALL THREE CABINS are located on exquisite secluded Douglas Lake in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains.

Welcome to Smoke Rise - Our Three beautiful homes on over 25 acres all with lake access and three private boat docks to swim, fish, jet ski and boat from all accessible via driveway or by golf cart (which we rent) or your own vehicle.

The Three Homes:

The Lodge
Features 3 Bedrooms all have en-suite bathrooms, 2 fireplaces, gourmet kitchen, wrap around deck and hot tub. Sleeps 8-9 comfortably.

The Barn
Features 4 bedrooms, a pool table and a 2 large decks. Sleeps 8-12 people.

Poppy`s Place Cabin
Features 3 bedrooms, all have en-suite bathrooms, 1 wood burning fireplace, HOT TUB, and 2 large decks. Sleeps 6-8 people.

This listing combines three separate listings (Cabins) for the Smoke Rise Lodge (`The Lodge`) and The Barn at Smoke Rise Lodge (`The Barn`) and Poppy`s Place (`Poppy`s Place Cabin`)

*** `The Lodge`

The Smoke Rise Lodge is located on exquisite secluded Cove on Douglas Lake situated in the foot hills of the Great Smokey Mountains. The Lodge sit high on ridge with views of the water and English Mountain.

The Lodge features 2 fire places, gourmet kitchen, wrap around deck and hot tub. All 3 bedrooms offer en-suite bathrooms. The Lodge Sleeps 8-9 comfortably.

LIVING AREAS
Main living area features a large kitchen island with bar stools, living room with large stone gas burning fireplace, and large dinning room table with expansive Smokey Mountain views.

KITCHEN & DINING
Stone kitchen counter tops, open concept style kitchen, dishes, silverware, and cookware, mixer, crock-pot, griddle etc. many kitchen gadgets.

This luxury Lodge is fully equipped to satisfy the most discerning guest. The kitchen if full stocked with the basic essentials to prepare meals for large groups. We also offer a Weber Grill on the back deck to grill.

Another six-person dining area is located in the common space inside.

BEDROOMS & BATHS
This three-story cabin sleeps 9 guests in three bedrooms and a sleeping loft/office, and downstairs area.

The king-size primary bedroom has a large flat-screen TV, deck access with hot tub. The beautiful en-suite primary bathroom is outfitted with double sink vanity and walk-in shower.

On main floor of the home, the second bedroom has a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom, high ceilings, and a large closet.

Find the sleeping loft upstairs with a queen size bed and couch and/or a play area for children.

1/2 bathroom on the main level for guest.

Lower level offers a distinct living area with TV and leather seating area for over 10 people, with kitchenette, en-suite queen size bedroom.

Large leather couch allowing 1 adult to sleep comfortably.

All of our en-suites bathrooms are well appointed with luxury linens, fresh towels, soaps, shampoos.

Our goal is your comfort! Each suite has flat screen televisions, hair dryers, luxury Beekman 1800 hair care and soaps and 1 iron and iron board.

OUTDOOR AREAS
Take in gorgeous lake views from your expansive wraparound deck, hut tub or the fire-pit as you sip your morning coffee; or enjoying a cocktail in the evening.
We do allow pets with a fee.

3 large Boat Docks on Douglas Lake with access to (4) kayaks, paddles and life jackets. We also offer a JetSki and Pontoon (Rent directly from our Dock) or there are several Marinas that rent boats as well.

*** `The Barn`
4 bedrooms, large 2 tier deck overlooking Douglas Lake. Sleeps 9-12 people.
We do allow pets with a fee.

LIVING AREAS
Main living area features a large kitchen, living room with Pool Table and Dry Bar. Large 2-tiered deck overlooking Douglas Lake offers dining area for 6, sitting area and gas grill.

KITCHEN & DINING
Stone kitchen counter tops, open concept style kitchen, dishes, silverware, and cookware etc. many gadgets. A large kitchen table that seats over 6ppl.

This home is fully equipped to satisfy the most discerning guest. The kitchen is stocked with the essentials to aid in preparing meals for large groups.

BEDROOMS & BATHS
All guest rooms are well appointed with linens, fresh towels, soaps, shampoos. Our #1 goal is your comfort! Each bedroom has large flat screen televisions with DirectTV, full closets, and extra linens.

OUTDOOR AREAS
Take in gorgeous lake views outdoor door living to enjoy alfresco on your large 2-tiered deck overlooking Douglas Lake. This deck offers dining area for 6 plus large table and grill for you to enjoy as you sip morning coffee; or enjoying a cup of coffee or an cocktail in the evening.

***Poppy`s Place Cabin
A luxurious cabin with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and plenty of room to spread out.

Fireside nights in the living area accompanied by a calming hot tub and surrounded by the wild of the Smoky Mountains will provide a truly unique experience.

The open main floor is spacious with a wood-burning fireplace, and it is a wonderful place to spend time together.

The main level has a screened-in deck with a hot tub and is a great gathering place and a hot tub. The 2nd porch has two beautiful rocking chairs, perfect for enjoying the peaceful Great Smoky Mtn. air and views.

***Three Home Listing

These three homes can be your piece of heaven and tranquility during anytime of the year, and during the summer dive off our private shared dock. You can rent a boat or jet ski directly from our dock, or utilize one of our 4 kayaks.

Fishing might be more your speed Douglas Lake is known for large-mouth bass, crappie, and catfish.

Spanning 18 acres in The Great Smokey Mountains The Lodge, Barn and Poppy`s Place Cabin offers scenic views and beautiful wildlife situated on Douglas Lakes and offers a dock on the property for the Barn, Lodge, and Poppy`s Place Cabin.

The winter is a terrific time of the year to gaze at the wildlife and snow-capped English mountains. Just sit back and get ready to relax enjoy family, friend or just to listen to all of the wonderful wildlife.

Please take note that Douglas Lake is a controlled lake. Water levels are low from Oct to March leaving our dock dry http://www.douglaslake.info/Level/.
