High slanted ceilings draw the eye upward throughout the home, with art pieces and pendant lighting adding warmth and character to each room. Sleek colour schemes and texture contrasts give the interior depth, while an abundance of natural light keeps the atmosphere open and welcoming. The butler's pantry and Smeg appliances bring a considered practicality to the kitchen, and the desk space with free Wi-Fi makes it well-suited for those working remotely or travelling for business.
THE LOCATION:
Serene Sampson is set on a quiet residential street in Orange, within easy reach of the city centre. Elephant Park is 300 metres away — a convenient stop for families — while Cook Park (700m) offers open lawns and a leafy setting ideal for a slow afternoon. The Orange Aquatic Centre is a 550-metre walk, and Duntryleague Golf Course is a four-minute drive.
Academy Coffee Roasters (550m) and Anything Grows (900m) are the local go-tos for breakfast and brunch. Spar Express (180m) covers everyday essentials. La Milano Italian (900m) is a reliable dinner option worth a visit. The Orange Farmers' Market — held on the second Saturday of each month — draws fresh produce, artisanal goods, and a lively local crowd.

Excellent - beautifully decorated, very warm, spacious and comfortable. Wouldn't mind an extra lounge chair if I had to pick something to improve, otherwise this is a brilliant property.

Great House and Location - Shame about property agents
Great location. Comfortable and nicely fitted out house. Beds all very comfortable. Great shower pressure. While it has been designed well, there are a few minor things that could improve it but overall would recommend. A few things don't make sense for a holday rental. There are a lot of surfaces that are not smooth and therefore will trap dust and dirt. Dining table is stunning but highy impracticle due to it's textured top which catches food, dust and sleeves of clothes. Need to have cleaning cloths so that benchtops can be cleaned during stay. Shower drain in main bathroom seems to be blocked and fills up shower which overflows into bathroom. Central air in bedroom end of house is too hot for a comfortable overnight sleep on lowest setting (even though outside temp 0). Would recommend this place but would be better if managed by a different agency. We were offered an early check-in (wouldn't have even though about it if they hadn't). As we were coming into town an hour earlier than check-in we thought we would take advanatage of that and also advised them we would be checking out 3 hours early. Anyway, we were told they would be happy to accomate an early check-in for a fee (different fees quoted from 1 hour upward). Would never have considered asking until they put it out there, only to make a grab for money, Gobsmacked!
