Impresionante villa independiente, a 5 minutos a pie de la playa con vistas a la montaña.

Wisteria es una encantadora villa a unos 5 minutos a pie de las fabulosas playas de arena de St. George, y convenientemente cerca de restaurantes, cajeros automáticos y tiendas. Tiene un pequeño jardín, plaza de aparcamiento privado y entrada pavimentada. Las instalaciones de la piscina están disponibles a 100 metros de la villa. La villa está idealmente situada para hacer turismo y explorar la isla.
Ambas habitaciones tienen armarios empotrados, aire acondicionado y puertas francesas que dan a la terraza de azulejos y al jardín, ¡excelente para cenar al aire libre! El baño familiar tiene una bañera con ducha y lavabo de mármol.
La sala de estar / cocina de planta abierta tiene una cocina contemporánea con lavavajillas, lavadora, vitrocerámica, horno y frigorífico, ideal para todas sus necesidades de autoservicio.

Excellent Villa

Booking and all admin was very easy with great communication from owner. Villa was lovely in a great location. Special thanks to Keith & Jane who look after the villa in Corfu. They provided excellent airport transfer & lots of advice on the area and were lovely, friendly people. Excellent villa, lovely holiday, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Nice getaway and close to grocery store and beach activities. A little misleading info in post about public pool a few blocks away. We had no access to private pool onsite.

Beautiful Property

A truly pleasant stay in Wisteria. Everything you could possibly need. Very spacious. Brilliant aircon. Never ran out of hot water. Lovely outdoor seating which was amazing ant breakfast times. Lots of optional extras, including games, books and even charger cables. Only negative was the water pressure was low, which meant we couldn’t use both showers at the same time and at times the one shower was only just over a trickle.

Perfect location

We have just returned from staying at Villa Wisteria and wish we were still there! The location is particularly good, being off the main road so very quiet but so close to all ammenities that no need to hire a car. Small supermarket 2 mins walk from villa and multiple restaurants and bars within 5-10mins walk. Keith and Jane who look after the villa are such a help. Nothing is too much trouble. They even booked us a table and organised a taxi for us to go to a particular restaurant which they recommended. Fabulous!

Urlaub 1 Woche September 2022

Wir haben den Urlaub in unserer Unterkunft sehr genossen, es war alles vorhanden was wir gebraucht haben. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Lage und man ist zu Fuss innerhalb von 10 Minuten an der Strandpromenade mit einigen guten Restaurants. Um die Insel genauer zu erkunden sollte man aber einen Leihwagen anmieten.

The Villa Wisteria is superbly located near all the local amenities and the sea. It is spotlessly clean and comfortable. Beautiful views from the back and peaceful. Highly recomended

Wir waren eigentlich zufrieden, nur das Badezimmer war nicht sehr sehenswert. Kalk, Abfluss und wir hatten kaum Wasser und falls ja war es nur kalt. Ansonsten war das Ferienhaus sauber und wir hatten viel Platz für unsere 3 Kinder.

Wohlfühl-Villa

Wir haben uns in der Villa sehr wohl gefühlt und die Ruhe genossen. Kontakt zu Danielle war herzlich und unkompliziert. Jane und Keith haben uns sehr freundlich begrüßt und für frische Handtücher und Bettwäsche gesorgt. Wir konnten sogar am Abreisetag nach Absprache länger im Haus bleiben. Das war richtig toll! Vielen Dank! Der Ort mit vielen guten Restaurants ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. Man braucht aber definitiv ein Auto, um die Insel zu erkunden und die Strände zu erreichen. Wir waren zum ersten Mal auf Korfu und sind begeistert von der Insel. Die Villa Wisteria können wir nur empfehlen!

Séjour gâché, piscine fermée et vide!!!!

Malheureusement nous ne rejoignons pas les commentaires précédents. Nous avons choisi cette location pour avoir le choix entre la piscine et le plage avec nos 4 enfants dont 2 de 1an. La piscine est dans un complexe de vacances situé à 3 min de la maison mais ce complexe était fermé, la piscine était donc inaccessible et vide! La plage (de sable!) est elle située à 15-20 minutes à pied, avec des enfants et la chaleur, ce n'est pas du tout pratique. Pas de wifi durant notre séjour! Ménage non fait depuis des mois... toile d'araignée, sols poisseux, cheveux dans les douches, l'eau chaude ne fonctionne pas si vous utilisez les deux douches en même temps, odeur d'urine... Nous avons donc fait le ménage à notre arrivée et à notre départ! Nous avons contacté l'hôte (et abritel) pour indiquer ces désagréments mais nous n'avons obtenu aucun dédommagement, c'est fort dommage. L'hôte a même arrêté de répondre... Nous aurions aimé être informé de ces désagréments connus de l'hôte afin de changer notre location. Mauvais rapport qualité/prix sans piscine et loin de la plage, c'est trop cher! Nous avons le sentiment d'avoir été arnaqué. Nous ne recommandons pas notamment pour les familles avec des jeunes enfants.

Second visit in 2 years!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at villa wisteria. It is within easy reach of the village (5mins walk) where there are numerous restaurants for eating out. There are 2 local shops that stock the basics even closer than that and 2 pools which are open to the public within 3 mins walk of the villa. There is little need for a car as everything is so close. The local bus goes into Corfu town and only cost 2.9euros. The villa is very well equipped and comfortable.

Beautiful, well-equipped villa in lovely setting, close to amenities

We had a wonderful week's stay at Villa Wisteria. Danielle was a fantastic host; so helpful. As this was our first visit to Corfu and first time travelling abroad with our 3 year-old son, she gave us recommendations of great restaurants and places to visit, also answering our random questions (which helped inform our packing), such as what food we could find nearby for our fussy-eater and how thick the cot mattress was (sounds funny but we wanted to ensure we all got a good night's sleep after a previous experience with a wafer thin cot mattress in a hotel!) We needn't have worried at all, the travel-cot/beds were super-comfy and we slept like logs! The 2-bedroom villa is spacious, clean, well laid-out and in a quiet location. It's well-equipped with some really lovely touches; bottles of milk and water waiting for us in the fridge, a bottle of fizz (kindly given by Danielle as I was celebrating my 40th), fluffy freshly laundered John Lewis towels, a basket of toys which our son loved playing with, cutlery/cups/bowls and potty etc. for him. As the villa has a washing machine and dishwasher we could easily keep on top of our washing/washing-up all week. Views to the rear of the property over fields, thickets and hills are wildly beautiful; a stunning spot from which to watch the famous Corfu sunsets and eat a leisurely breakfast in the mornings. We enjoyed watching all the planes coming into land over the island; close enough to be interesting but far away enough for sound levels not to be an issue. During our stay we took Danielle's recommendations to visit Corfu Old Town (bus stop is a 3 min walk from the villa so very handy), the charming village of Chlomos (15 mins by car up quite a windy road but well worth the journey for incredible views over the island) and we ate at Seagulls in Agios Georgios South twice. Can't recommend any of these trips enough! Staff at Seagulls were so welcoming. The small Spiros supermarket is just 2 mins from the villa as is Elleana's swimming pool, with great facilities; cafe, pool with inflatables for children and shallow-end for littlies. Agios Georgios South seafront is only a 5-10 min walk away, which initially felt quite a way for our toddler in the heat, but we soon got used to it once we'd got our bearings (worth taking pushchair if heading to the beaches). It has plenty of great restaurants/bars, shops to explore, as well as the sandy beaches. Villa Wisteria comes very highly recommended!

Quiet Corfu holiday.

Lovely well equipped villa in quiet location with small supermarket nearby.A hire car would be beneficial if you want to reach the beach more easily although you can book tours through a tour company nearby.I missed a comfy armchair and pillow as I suffer from osteo arthritis.The beach 5 minutes away was inaccessible and a rocky outcrop.The main sandy beach was at least half an hour's walk away with a very steep slope to access it.Plenty of tavernas nearby.It would have been helpful to have details of beach access and tour company as we came on them by chance although I suppose we could have asked about them.We booked a coupe of excursions and overall had a lovely relaxing time.

A charming, comfortable, well-equipped house with a beautiful garden

We spent a week of our Easter holiday here and really loved the house and its surroundings. Though we basically used it as a base to go on day-trips all around the island, we loved the comfort there, particularly the possibility to heat as the weather was quite cold when we arrived, as well as the well equipped-kitchen with two refrigerators and everything we could wish for. There's a nice garden in quiet surroundings (except for some dogs barking time and again) and charming restaurants at the seaside, which opened gradually for the season during our stay. The key box is very handy and we could park our rental car close to the house even when we came home late. We didn't use TV etc. but were grateful for the good Wifi connection. Thanks very much, we surely will recommend the villa to friends or return some day!

Short break

Very easy to find from the instructions and able to self check in so that’s good too. Clean and comfortable, well equipped, good WiFi. We were very aware that we were travelling out of season but still surprised but how few places were open. (No fault of the property!) I imagine it’s quite lively in summer. Beautiful walks on the dunes around the lagoon. Easy driving to other walks and beaches and less than an hour from the airport.

Perfect!

The villa is really perfect, everything clean and nice furniture in english style. Two little shops nearby. All restaurants in Agios Georgios offer cheap and delicious meals. Unfortunately the sea is not so clean as it was a lot of years ago.

Deserves the 5 stars

Villa Wisteria is exactly as described on the website. What it doesn't tell you is that it is spotlessly clean, as well equipped as my own kitchen and ideally situated for beaches, restaurants and shops. A car is not necessary, but if you want to cook at the villa the local supermarkets only stock a small amount of vegetables, and the butcher is a drive away. We didn't bother in the end because there were plenty of very reasonably priced restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Keith, the local 'rep' is a font of all knowledge. We arranged a transfer to and from the airport, and he was full of advice on where to eat and what to do. He arranged a car hire for us (the car was brought to the villa!), as well as a taxi to an amazing restaurant in the mountains (which he also booked for us). The local beach is a 5 minute walk and along with all the sun loungers and umbrellas for hire you can jet ski, banana boat, parasail, windsurf etc etc. There is no need to go as far as Corfu town for a boat trip. Kostas can take you to Paxos and AntiPaxos for the day at a a reasonable price. This is the perfect place to stay in a quieter part of the island. The hospitality of the owners and their family, as well as all of the Greeks is astonishing. There are lots of restaurants, a safe sandy beach and things to do. If you want a night life then St George is probably not for you, but for those seeking a quieter, more laid back holiday then do consider this as your base. You won't be disappointed.

A very relaxed break

We booked this villa in Southern Corfu with the intention of having a very relaxed holiday away from the more "touristy" parts of Northern Corfu. I must say it was better than expected. It was a short walk to sandy beaches. Easy access to stores for essentials and Taverna's etc. But I think the best thing about this villa was Danielle's parents. They live in Corfu and were eager to offer local knowledge which made this holiday perfect. Whether it was where to shop, which Taverna's offer good food, which places to visit or rental car company recommendations we had access to first hand local knowledge. Thanks you lovely people ! I would definitely book with Danielle again. Cheers !

The perfect holiday

Wisteria is a lovely villa with all the necessary ingredients for a good holiday. The location was perfect for us: - an easy walk to long sandy beaches - an easy walk to numerous very good restaurants - a good layout in the villa with good provision for all eventualities - A west facing patio ( watching the sun go down every evening was fab) - Easy access to the rest of Corfu - Local boat trips to Paxos / Antipaxos We had a really wonderful holiday.
