Our stay was wonderful. The lake, the spa, the cleanliness, Everything we needed was provided, and more. We would recommend this peaceful get-away without hesitation. The kids will have special memories to remember and talk about!

Our stay was truly wonderful and relaxing. Despite the bad weather, we didn't miss a thing and enjoyed the hot tub even more because of it. Although the apartment is probably a little older, it is exceptionally well maintained, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully decorated with great care. It felt like a little piece of paradise, and we feel very grateful to have experienced it.

The hot tub was amazing! Loved being on the lake in kayaks. The people and stores were very kind to Americans who don't speak French! We used Google translate a lot! Marche Richelieu the grocery store was VERY well stocked . As was the pharmacy. My only disappointment was the front window. The seal is broken so it was cloudy. It made looking at the lake on rainy days sad.

My family and I loved our stay at this cottage. The lake is so peaceful and beautiful, with tonnes of wildlife to enjoy, and great for stand up paddle boarding (my favourite activity was looking for turtles in the shallows while riding one of the paddleboards).  The cottage has comfortable bedrooms, a cozy living room, and a wonderful, well stocked kitchen. There are great views of the lake from the dining room, deck and yard. Val des Bois has lots of amenities, including two great ice cream places that my kids loved. We'd definitely come back. Thanks for the great vacation!

This was a dream of a cottage and we have rented many cottages. We need absolutely nothing as far as towels and kitchen facilities etc. go.The cottage is immaculate. so so clean. Very relaxing and peaceful place.The lake is beautiful.There were so many activities to do on the lake Paddle boarding, kayaking, and pedal boating.The little town had many little grocery stores, a bakery, a pie making place and a butcher.Loved this cottage. Planning on returning next year.

Overall: The inside of the cabin was great for a guy’s weekend. Lots of space, big kitchen, plenty of essentials. The lake was very peaceful and had plenty of fish to catch. Would definitely recommend and book again.Details:- Modern kitchen, making it easy to cook and make meals. The kitchen was stocked with lots of dishware, utensils, and pots/pans.- Sleeping was comfortable, as there was enough room for all 7 of us between the beds and the couch. I appreciated that the beds had multiple pillows like in a hotel room. - The host also made sure to have extra pillows, blankets, and towels easily accessible to us. - The bathroom was very clean and the shower was large with excellent water pressure. The shampoo, conditioner, and soap provided was also very reminiscent of a hotel.- The balcony/patio was amazing for a morning coffee or just hanging out. - The BBQ placement was right outside the back door under a small roof, leading to poor ventilation.- Plenty of chairs and places to sit both inside and out.- The hot tub was great, although the mosquito screens did very little to keep the bugs out.- We caught several fish, mainly from the floating dock. It did have quite a large amount of goose poop on it, but we just knocked it into the water.- The dock off the property was narrow and unbalanced so we weren’t able to hang out on it together, but it was not a huge deal.

Clean, Equipped, and Recommended

We booked for a family getaway weekend. Nice individual bedrooms. Make use of the washing/drying machines. The shower is way too nice for a cottage lol. The kitchen is equipped with everything that we need. Bonuses with games and binoculars in the leaving room. Nice quiet lake with some many available different types of water "vehicles" made it fun for us! Highly recommended and we're looking to go back next summer for sure.

Amazing Place

I'm so amazed how this carriage is, Luc was very kind on answering all of my questions. Easy access to the chalet we had so much fun, the place is very clean and has everything you need for cooking, showering even clean water to drink was provided, pedal boat + 2 kayaks and floattting dock where the kids were having a blast jumping into the water, open balcony with mirors around the balcony so you can enjoy the lake view at all time. Barbecue grill with extra gas tank incase you run out. Towels was provided shampoo conditioner soap everythinggggggg is provided just bring your grocery!! I thank you Luc and Lina for accommodating us in your beautiful chalet and we will be back for sure this is a 10 star Chalet by the lake so beautiful !!! Thank you Again 😊

Nous avons passé un sejour tres agreable, nous avons bien profité du calme et de la tranquillité, du spa et des activités de l’eau. Le chalet est extrêmement calme, très propre et bien équipé, nous n'avons manqué de rien. Merci aux propriétaires ! Juste une chose: l’insectifuge est un must !

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour! L’intérieur du chalet était très propre et la vue sur le lac est magnifique. Les embarcations nautiques disponible sont en bon état et la pêche a été fructueuse! L’endroit est calme et le lac aussi. Il y a plusieurs jeux disponibles à l’intérieur. Le chalet est très bien équipé, nous n’avons manqué de rien! Les échanges avec le propriétaire ont toujours été rapide et il a répondu à toutes nos questions! Merci beaucoup!

Séjour reposant!

Super séjour! Le chalet est propre et il est très bien situé. Il donne sur un lac tranquille. Nous avions accès à des kayaks, pédalo, canots, SUP. Le balcon donne sur une vue magnifique, parfaite pour prendre le café le matin. La cuisine est très bien équipée et la salle de bain aussi. La communication était facile avec Luc et nous avons eu toutes les informations nécessaires. Nous avons adoré, merci beaucoup!

Agréable séjour. Beau chalet calme, propre et les lits sont confortables. La cuisine tres bien équipée. Nous avons bien aimé profiter du poêle a granule pour créer un ambiance détente. L'hôte est amical et facile a joindre pour question.
