The cabin was as described. It was cosy and we loved the quirkiness of the fish theme which is exactly why picked it as my husband loves fishing. We were very comfortable.

Cosy & Comfortable Stay

We were delighted to find our comfortable & cosy cabin tastefully decorated. Newly renovated by owners. They thought of everything we needed for our short stay. It was perfect. Wonderful to meet our host who kindly loaned us a mobile phone charger (she saved the day!)

Recommended

Mr & Mrs Fish odviously take pride in their cabins. Ours was beautifully rennovated, spotlessly clean with fresh linen and all amenities that you need for a comfortable stay. I loved the artwork, fish wallapaper and real plants giving it a homely feel. The waters edge was only a couple of minutes walk away and we were lucky enough to meet one of the resident Koalas. Our hosts were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend staying here and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Cosy Kangaroo Island Cabins

Thanks Robert and Victoria for a wonderful couple of days at Mr & Mrs Fish Cabins. What a great job you have done with renovating this cute set of four holiday cabins with your meticulous attention to detail and generosity of spirit. We loved the mix of old and new with the seaside decor and everything you need in the kitchenette to eat in for B,L&D. Light and airy with the homely touch of indoor plants and artwork. A great springboard to the western side of the Island. Resident kolas, Kylie and Keith were an added bonus. Thanks again, we hope to return again.

Easy communication made the stay very easy and enjoyable. All you needed was to supply what you needed to cook or just eat and everything else was there. Easy access and very comfortable. If you wanted to go out for a meal just be aware you are limited Monday nights as most places are closed. We recommend The Shed as it’s run by volunteers and the locals, Great prices and Great food. Highly recommend to base yourself here if your looking for an enjoyable stay

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. The location in American River is fabulous, the home is very tastefully decorated and super clean and there is a family of Koalas living on the tree just outside the front door! Wish we could have stayed longer
