About this property-
Bassett House is beautifully presented with a blend of vintage and antique furnishings, luxurious bed linens, stunning bathrooms, curated art pieces, high quality toiletries and supplies. The house is situated on a 1000 square metre block with a large garden, front verandas to watch the sunrise and sunset and protected patio so children can have their own space to hang out.
Bassett house is a serene and inviting family residence conveniently located in the Willunga old town area of Willunga and walking distance from the main street.
This delightful home accommodates 8 guests, and we can arrange additional sleeping arrangements upon request $30 pp per night. Featuring 2 distinct indoor living spaces, covered outdoor dining spaces, and well appointed kitchen ready to cater for your culinary needs. Next to the kitchen is a spacious butlers pantry. Bassett house ensures a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Get ready to fall in love with the location. Right outside your door you will be able to walk along the historic main street with cafes, restaurants, wine bars and shops. Nearby, you’ll find wineries, beautiful beaches and scenic walking trails. It’s the perfect setting for an unforgettable stay.
Undercover parking for two is available as well as a wide driveway. Wifi is now conencted, fans in the bathrooms, split system (heating and cooling) in the kitchen/dining room and a open wooden fire in the second living/TV room.

SMOKING RULES- a $500 fine will apply for evidence that the following rules has been breached .
You are not allowed to smoke on the property.
Please leave smoking to the front road away from the property.
Dispose of butts safely and not in the garden or gravel driveway.

Old beach towels are provided please do not use the bath towels outside of the property. There are some old towels for spills found in the laundry.

STOLEN AND DAMAGED GOODS
Our cleaner lodges an inventory list after each clean.

SOCIAL GATHERINGS AND NOISE
-Parties are not permitted
Visitors are welcome to visit you at the property
No visitors are allowed to sleep on the couches.
You are responsible for making sure all invited visitors follow the house rules.
Please be mindful of neighbours and keep noise to a respectful level
Noise level curfew 10pm

OUTSIDE PROPERTY RULES
Make sure keys are left in the lock box upon vacating otherwise you will be charged a replacement fee.
Ensure the BBQ and gas bottle are turned off after use
Ensure the garage roller door is left down upon vacating property.

POST CHECK OUT RULES
Please put all rubbish and recycling in the council bins when leaving. If you leave on Tuesday-Wednesday please leave bins on the kerb for council collection. (Thursday is bin day)
Make sure keys are left in lock box when leaving
Leave all towels on the bathroom floors (en suite) or bath when leaving.
You must clean your dirty dishes when leaving and please put them away. Last night please run the dishwasher as the cycle is too long for the morning. Please empty the dishwasher when leaving.
Ensure all your items/disposed of out of the fridge/freezer
Check you have not left a heater, fan or outside light on. The lights in the kitchen (left of the sink) turn on a light outside.. Hard to view when you leave. Please check it is turned off.

Highly recommend Bassett House. 2 minute walk from Main Street Willunga, a quiet and charming town 35 mins south of Adelaide. Three bedrooms with mattresses so comfy (even singles!) we were pulling back the linen to check the brands. Extremely well provisioned kitchen (sharp knives, lots of extra crockery and cutlery, coffee machine etc). Beautiful, cosy living room where we had the fire going most of the cold and drizzly weekend. Perfect coffee table for puzzles/board games. The house is quiet and solid and quickly feels like home. We loved Willunga and the array of grocers, gift shops and local artists’ stores. The Willunga markets are worth traveling to from Adelaide and the absolute highlight was lunch at Down the Rabbit Hole.

Delightful Basset House

A really lovely and very spacious house. Great fit out and amenities in an excellent location. Very comfortable beds and high quality linen, kitchen was well set up for entertaining. Garden and neighborhood were delightful. Highly recommend Basset House and Wilunga.

PERFECT GETAWAY

This home was very spacious with plenty of room for us to keep out of each others way, however, also perfectly set out so we could come together as a family for meals etc. Located in a great spot so we could walk to the local shops, markets, pubs etc. We were all very pleased with our stay and Caroline and Sam were the perfect hosts.

Bassett House Willunga

Caroline was just fantastic helping us to organise our 5 star week at Bassett House and to enjoy our lovely MacLaren Vale experience. We had a lovely week enjoying Willunga, the beaches and the vineyards. It was very comfortable having Bassett House to return to and enjoy relaxing. Thanks for a most enjoyable week.

We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful Bassett House very much. The house is spacious and airy and perfectly located. Close to beautiful beaches and the Saturday markets.The house is well appointed and the host was very helpful and generous.

Spacious, well appointed house. It has everything you need for a short stay. From a coffee machine to games, laundry, butler’s pantry, a huge dining table and alfresco area. Loved the house and the locals were so friendly. Was also a good short walk to the Main Street and the local shops

Great location

This property is perfect! It definitely lived up to expectations. The house is very spacious, modern, cozy & super clean. The house has everything that you need for a very comfortable stay (apart from WiFi) & is located within walking distance to lots of cafes & restaurants in Willunga.
