Nice home with water views and a outdoor spa

The vacation rental was very clean.

We enjoyed our stay. Nice backyard area which is directly opposite the lake. Lots of swans and bird life to look at from the back deck area. There is a bbq and an outdoor spa suitable for four people comfortably. The backyard area felt quite exposed with neighbours on both sides having easy viewing access. A few extra screens or blinds might make it more comfortable for guests. We used three of the four bedrooms that each had a small fan heater but no electric blankets which might have been nice given the house is quite cold with one main air-conditioner and an open plan style house. There is a washing machine but no dryer. There’s a supply of condiments including coffees and tea but no milk was supplied. Perhaps a small manual explaining some of the appliances such as the operation of the spa, dishwasher, bbq and cooktop might assist the guests with using these items. There was a good array of power boards for charging devices. There were no coffee pods yet there was a coffee machine. The back door did not seem very secure with just internal locks that didnt work properly. Something to look at from a maintenance perspective. Also might need to give a warning to guess as when you enter the front door there is a large meter box that juts out at head height.The grass area in the front/back felt quite damp for the duration of our stay of two nights. The bedding was quite thin but there was a brand-new blanket left in each room that increased the warmth/comfort. Most of the pillows were very hard. But the beds were comfortable. We were able to access the Wi-Fi without problems and also Netflix on the TV. All in all this is a comfortable house to spend the weekend in however some of the items I’ve mentioned may need looking at to increase the comfort rating.There is a great walking path out the front that takes you along the lake. Jess from the real estate gave excellent instructions and was very prompt when we had some questions. Shower leaks water. Mirro
