What a jewel, will definitely stay again. Nicola has appointed her site to make your stay comfortable, restful, and homey on rainy and sunny days. It’s location was perfect for us, close to the hills, prairie, and Medicine Hat. There was the added bonus of local coffee and welcoming treats. The big bonus for me was the night sky’s. When the clouds cleared, the crescent moon was on the horizon and soon the Milky Way appeared. So, I got what we came for, thank you. My wife and dog were coming home pleased as well.

Great location, just minutes to Elkwater townsite and Cypress Hills Park entrance. The unassuming exterior of the home opens to a beautifully modern, cozy interior that is outfitted with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The kitchen has a full compliment of appliances, basic pantry items, dishware, pots and pans, cleaning supplies. Incredibly comfy bed, clean and bright washroom, cozy living room with wood stove. They also pamper your pooch with treats, blankets for the couch and their own food bowls. The outdoor deck provides a perfect setting for amazing sunrises and sunsets. Great value. We would certainly arrange another visit in the future! Thank you

Our stay was amazing! If I could give more than a 10 out of 10, I would. Everything you need is on the property and it is right outside the town of Elkwater. Communication with Nicola was excellent. No issues at all before, during, or after our stay. We wish we had booked longer. Was a perfect quiet, relaxing, and peaceful getaway.

Cozy Cabin

We had a very enjoyable stay in this cozy cabin. It was very clean with many things to enjoy even on a rainy day. It’s also in a great location with beautiful scenery and many trails nearby.

The Burrow is very comfortable and private for a relaxing getaway. Beware of the ants and thistle if walking in the yard in sandals. Enjoyed our stay

Cabin was stocked with everything you could need - and more! The hosts leave a small adorable snack basket for people, and dishes, treats, and blankets for your pets. One of the coziest, most pleasant cabin vacations we’ve had. Will definitely be back!

Lovely cabin in a great location. The place was very clean, with ample towels and extra blankets. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, as well as spices, condiments and coffee. It was a lovely stay and we will visit again if in the area.

We had an excellent stay! The kitchen was FULLY equipped and had extras we didn't expect like condiments in the refrigerator, cooking oil, hot chocolate ... Thank you! There were plenty of linens for the kitchen and the bathroom. Everything was clean. The bed was comfortable. There was lots of firewood outside which we enjoyed. The first night was clear and perfect for stargazing! This is a lovely home away from home. We plan to return whenever we are in the area!

We really enjoyed staying at this adorable cabin. It was so well stocked and comfortable. Perfect location. The owners thought of everything! This is one of the best I have ever stayed in. I have already rebooked a few more days in the summer.

Staying at the Starlit Burrow cabin was such a wonderful experience! The cabin had everything we needed for cooking and some extra thoughtful touches that made it feel so cozy and welcoming. Being right beside the Cypress Hills Provincial Park meant we could easily explore the trails, and the nearby public beach was perfect for a refreshing swim. The setting is peaceful and surrounded by nature, and the stargazing at night was absolutely magical. It was the perfect getaway to relax, reconnect with nature, and enjoy every moment, we can’t wait to come back!

Cozy Cabin

The cabin is very spacious, bright and clean. It's well stocked with many thoughtful features such as outdoor blankets to keep you warm while stargazing from the deck, comfy bed, great shower and a bidet! The location is only a 4 minute drive into town. It's very scenic and quiet. Perfect for a relaxing getaway!
