Have fun with the whole family at this recently renovated beach home centrally located on Dillon St close to Waihi Beach and the village shops. The tastefully styled 3 bedroom home is complimented by the two bedroom adjoining cabin meaning friends and family can holiday together. Multiple outdoor living spaces and fully fenced garden make for a relaxing time with the little ones. A brand new kitchen and bathroom and views of the Kaimais from upstairs bedrooms are the icing on the cake here. This is a great space for friends and family to share a holiday together in beautiful Waihi beach, sleeping 11 people over 3 inside queen bedrooms and a two bedroom cabin adjoining the house there is room for everyone. You will love the comfortable lounge space with Netflix on the TV, the newly renovated kitchen with espresso coffee machine as well as the sunny outdoor deck area with lounging bean bags, bbq and outdoor furniture. The location is a star here, just a quick walk around the corner to the cafes and shops or a couple of minutes to the beach or Flat White cafe, located right on the shore and one of the local favourites. If you are looking for a central, sunny location with great amenities to enjoy a break away with family and friends this is the spot for you.

Property was everything we required for a family (7 adults & 3 children) weekend. Children were safely contained but able to enjoy the outdoor areas. Spotlessly clean and very welcoming. Walked and biked everywhere as the property is so well situated. Couldn't have asked for any better.

Loved the home

Was cosy and warm on a wintry weekend. Kids loved playing outside in a great fenced area, while the parents were able to relax on the deck as they played. Shops within walking distance. Beach within walking distance. We definitely would stay again.

Much needed chemo break

Prefect for our family group. Loved the coffee machine! Nice kitchen and has two big rooms upstairs. The toilet and bathroom facilities are in one room which proved challenging on occasion with 6 so could be tight with 11.Easy access to beach.

It's just a short walk down the road to the white sands and sparkly blue waters of Waihi Beach, voted by Lonely Planet as one of the top 10 beaches in New Zealand.

Beach front cafe, the Flat White, is only a short walk away as is the local petrol station perfect for last min ice for cocktails, lollies or ice creams on hot days!

Nearby Waihi Beach village (2 min drive or 10 min walk) is full of boutique shops, fantastic restaurants and cafes, a small supermarket and award-winning butcher making this area full of everything you need for that perfect getaway!

The beaches nearby are wonderful for walking, shell collecting, swimming, surfing or playing in the sand. There are many well equipped children’s playgrounds in the area as well as great walking and biking tracks including the famous Mountain Bike trail through the Karangahake Gorge. This trail is great for kids (or any age) you pass over bridges, through tunnels and explore the old gold mine and water fall. Bike hire is possible in Waihi town or the Waihi Beach village.

This beach house is in an ideal location to explore the Bay of Plenty. Tauranga is a 1-hour drive, and Coromandel is 1.5 hours. The Karangahake Gorge is 20 minutes away for wonderful walking and exploring as well as a winery, restaurant and café, a waterfall and bike trails. Hobbiton is only an hours drive away and the famous Waitomo Caves or Rotorua both 1.5-2 hours away by car. Auckland International airport is also only 2 hours drive.
