Nuestra casa está al lado del apartamento de vacaciones con una entrada privada y un área de estacionamiento designada. El apartamento de vacaciones en casa se encuentra en el segundo nivel con hermosas vistas de las montañas con impresionantes cascadas. La unidad de arriba es privada pero accesible para los propietarios, cuando están en casa.

Nuestra casa de vacaciones viene con una cocina totalmente equipada; anafe eléctrico, microondas, refrigerador, y lavadora y secadora. El plano de planta es muy espacioso con más de 900 pies cuadrados de espacio habitable. Una gran área de lanai para relajarse mientras observa las montañas. Nuestra casa está a solo unos pasos de la popular bahía de Hanalei o de lo que los lugareños llaman 'Pinos'. Las olas del invierno traen buenas olas y el sol de verano atrae las vacaciones familiares.

Proporcionamos muchos equipos de playa que incluyen: máscara y snorkels, sillas de playa, colchoneta de playa, refrigerador, muchas toallas de playa, y también ofrecemos a nuestros huéspedes un par de bicicletas de montaña para disfrutar en la ciudad de Hanalei. Great location!

We had a great stay. Being one block off of the beach, we enjoyed many walks. The cruisers were great to use to ride down to the beach for sunset or around town. The bed was comfortable and supportive. We enjoyed breakfast on the lanai with the Mountain View. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing location

Jana's place is literally steps away from Hanalei Bay -- so wonderful to be that close to the ocean. I really enjoyed sitting on the deck reading and gazing out to the ocean to the right, and the tropical mountain to the left! A slice of heaven.

Amazing location!

Great house in great location! The views were AMAZING and it was so great being able to walk right down to the beach. We would definitely stay again. We didn't get a chance to meet the family, as they were out of town, but everything was just as pictured and we had everything we needed. Thanks so much!

Terrific place in Hanalei

We spent a week in Hanalei and thought this rental was a perfect location - just a block from the beach! It was clean and well-equipped. Waking up to the roosters was a unique experience - truly Hawaii. The owners met us, and they were helpful and welcoming.

The apartment exceeded expectations! Spacious, peaceful, ideally located to beach and hiking adventures. Used all the fun beach toys and bicycle too that they provided. Definitely will return with my family!!!

Wonderful rental in Hanalei

The rental was just as described, but even better. It feels larger than the photos show, and the beds and pillows were super comfy. The kitchen had everything you would need, and the washer and dryer were a nice surprise. We made great use of the cruiser bikes and beach chairs and umbrella. We loved exploring the north shore and coming back to this little gem of a rental! The owners are super kind and respond quickly to questions. Thanks Jana!

Perfect Stay in Paradise

I think this is our 6th stay at this rental. My husband and I love everything about it. The unit is spacious and has everything you’d need for kitchen and the beach. It’s literally across the street from Hanalei Bay and a short walk into town. Every time we leave we are already thinking of when we can come back and this trip is no exception.

Great location!!!

We had a great stay! Short walk to the beach and we greatly appreciated the umbrella and beach chairs!!! We used the bikes to take rides around the neighborhool and to town. I requested an extra blanket and it was delivered to me in 15 minutes! Great communication with Jana prior to checking in and she was available if needed during our stay. Thanks again for a great vacation!

Better than Princeville...

This place is a perfect if you are looking for a laidback residential setting to relax and soak-up the local vibe. Block and a half from Pine Trees, and a short bike ride to town. Bikes, boards, snorkel stuff provided. Jana and Bryden and the kids are great. If you want a concierge, an overpriced luau, and fake hawaiian decor...go to a big hotel. If you want a simple place to chill and enjoy the beauty of the island, stay here. But if you go, be respectful...it may be a vacation rental to you, but it is home to others.

Great Place Close to the Beach

Jana greeted us as we pulled in. She was friendly. The place was clean and very spacious. We had everything we needed including beach towels, chairs and bikes. The beach was only two short blocks away. I would have given it five stars but their dog was barking for about 5 hours one evening. Jana apologized and it only happened one time. Overall, an enjoyable stay. And I would rent this again.

Walk to Hanalei Bay

First off we loved that we could take a very short stroll to the water. With how busy that Hanalei is, it was nice to not have to park. All of the beach stuff that was provided was also nice. Chairs, boogie boards and much more. The kitchen was stocked well for the size, except they could use some better coffee mugs. The place itself is just OK. It was clean enough but needs a deeper clean like dusting shelves and cleaning walls. The hardest part was how hot it was. We would have to go for rides in our car with AC to escape the heat. The place could use a door on the bedroom with a wall unit. Having the windows open during the night are only an option if you sleep like a baby because the roosters, dogs and cars are loud. The view from the bed was amazing though. That being said, the price for this place does make up for this, if you can handle the heat. Sleeping was fine, even with the bedroom windows closed...it did cool off a little. I always dock a star for having to strip beds when you leave. I don't mind piling towels, starting dishwasher and taking out trash but I am being charged a cleaning fee and I shouldn't have to strip beds. Nobody wants to see the mattress that them and 2000 of their closest friends have slept on.

Perfect Beach Suite

This was our fourth stay at this fabulous suite in Hanalei. The location is perfect, majestic mountain views, a few steps to the best part of Hanalei Bay and a short walk to the shops and restaurants in town. The trade winds are great in keeping the space cool even in August. The spacious suite has everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, and there are many beach chairs, towels and an umbrella. Communication with Jana was excellent. My husband and I can’t wait to come back as it’s our favorite place to vacation. You can’t beat the charm and small town feel of Hanalei. We’ve stayed on other parts of the island but this is by far our favorite. We can’t wait to return. Aloha!

Highly recommend

This vacation rental is a little gem. The apartment is clean, comfortable and airy and the views of the mountains from the bedroom, living room and lanai are amazing. Anything you could possibly need to go to the beach (which is less than a 5 minute walk away) is provided. The cruiser bikes were an added bonus which made our trips to town and the pier for nightly sunsets so much more enjoyable. Jana was very easy to work with and always available by phone if we needed anything during our stay. We've visited Kauai in the past, but have never stayed in Hanalei. It's such a special place in Kauai and definitely our new favorite vacation spot. Thank you to Jana, Brydan, Brock and Jordyn for sharing their home with us, we truly enjoyed our time. We highly recommend this place and look forward to staying here again! -Krista and Randy

Very relaxing Hanalei hideaway

Getting away to this property for five days was such a wonderful and relaxing comparison to the 10 days we had in Poipu before reaching Hanalei. Hanalei feels worlds away from the hectic pace of the East and South shores. The apartment is perefectly located away from the hustle and bustle of Hanalei town, but just about a 10-minute walk or couple minutes on the bikes to reach the stores and restaurants there. The proximity to the quieter section of Hanalei Bay (one tiny block) was also great for enjoying the beach more. The apartment is very spacious, very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The view from the bed, couch or balcony is just insane - on lazy rainy days, we just counted waterfalls. I definitely recommend staying here when on the North Shore - being able to walk/bike everywhere was a huge plus compared to the Princeville places or places out toward Haena. While here be sure to schedule a visit or guided tour to Limahuli Gardens - they are doing amazing work there and it should be supported. And we also really enjoyed the Kalalau Trail (keep going to the falls - it‘s not as difficult as people say in the reviews). Trucking Delicious also had AMAZING food. And Hanalei Breads was great for coffee/smoothies/breads (the pineapple and mac nut bread and the olive bread were our favorites).

Live the local life

The family that runs the upstairs unit is very friendly and receptive to your needs. As an avid surfer I learned that when sitting on the balcony you could look down the street and peek through an opening in the trees and see the ocean. If I could see a wave cresting I knew that Pine Trees was going to be shoulder to head high. If I could see the rebounding whitewater, then Middles was going to be double overhead. Such an awesome spot to stay, you can literally walk barefoot, board under your arm and hop in the water with in 2 min. Non surfers also reaped the benefits of staying so close. If you walk to the beach and go the left you can swim without being tossed about by the surf. The beach close to the house is almost all soft coral sand, very friendly on the family feet. Things you should be aware of as this is not a bed and breakfast or a hotel type experience. The family below is just that a family they work go to school and enjoy themselves. You will hear them but as far as we were concerned it was cool and we were left to our own schedule, they were very responsive if we needed anything. The hot water at this locale is solar, so if you want a hot shower before the sun is up, you'll need to coordinate with them to they turn on the heater. But you're going to Hawaii right?! So who cares... take a shower after playing at the beach, clean up for a nice dinner out and the water is hot and lovely. Would love to come and stay at this delightful locale again. Mahalo~!

We loved this little slice of paradise! Incredible location with close range to town and a stone’s throw from the beach. Every day spent here was magical. Very spacious living area with views you cannot beat.

We had a great stay in Hanalei. Highlights included the proximity to beach and use of the bikes to ride to town. We barely got in our car with this location. We rode to restaurants, nearby sunset watching location and more. The size of the home is perfect for two people. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals and the bathroom has good water pressure. Bring your own shower products. Jana the host was very responsive and answered all our questions promptly. People staying downstairs were friendly, it is a duplex so you will hear your neighbors, but this was not a surprise due to the description. Also there was noise from the dogs next door, but we ran the fans while sleeping at night and closed the bedroom windows which helped us to sleep well.

Great place and location!!! Quiet, very short walking distance to the beach and close to all the places we love. The apt had everything you might need during your stay and is very comfortable. Owners were extremely easy to communicate with on all accounts. Offering great suggestions and help etc. Only recommendation is that the Apt could use a serious deep cleaning and an AC unit (we were there end of June and it was very hot and miserable in apt during the day) luckily we were gone most days busy at beaches or hiking. Highly recommend this place and have referred a few friends to this place since our stay. Many thanks to the host!!

We are an outdoor family of four: Brydan, Jana, Brock, and Jordyn. We have one dog, Cash (our beagle), a boat, a few bikes, and lots of boogie boards to enjoy at the beach. On our spare time we love to go to the beach to fish, swim, diving, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and just hang out with family. We love to travel, so we know how to treat people when they are on vacation. This has been our home for generations, starting with my grandparents. We pride ourselves and honor our neighborhood with respect to our land, waters, and people. We do live downstairs part of the time but we also share it with our family and close friends. We enjoy talking story with our guests sharing our favorite spots on the island and also giving tips about Hawaiian culture and values. But we also give each other space for privacy.

Our vacation apartment is cleaned thoroughly as this is a family home and we take pride in sharing it with our friends and family. We have beautiful sand beaches, lots of great snorkeling areas, awesome winter waves for surfing, and beautiful sunsets. Our home is conveniently located close to Hanalei Bay in a local laid back community. Yet you can still bike or walk to town in less than 10 minutes. If you enjoy living with the locals and hearing the kids play, friendly neighborhood wild chickens crowing, and dogs yapping then our vacation home is perfect! Come and enjoy Hanalei in an apartment that will please!

The perfect property if you want to be close to the beach, vacation in a local neighborhood, with all the amenities of an upstairs studio: microwave, coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, washer/dryer in unit, large master bedroom (cal-king bed) with a beautiful view of the mountains/waterfalls, and a reasonable price. We are a short distance to the famous Hanalei Bay, restaurants, grocery stores, and other amenities.
