Kick back and relax in this newly developed private, stylish space. A quick exit off Ray Gibbon Dr and you have arrived at your home away from home. One-bedroom guest suite with kitchenette, living area, bath, full-sized in-suite washer/dryer & all the amenities you'll need to be comfortable. Ample, free parking across street adjacent to the fence line. Follow walkway on left side of house to your private, keyless entrance. Every amenity needed within one block including Co-op grocery, gas, carwash, liquor, Tim Hortons, Subway, and more!

The space
Fully private, new, one-bedroom basement suite with private entrance, kitchenette, living area, new queen sofa sleeper, laundry, and bath. Accommodates up to 4 guests.

Guest access
As a guest of Riverside Suite, you will have full, private access to the entire guest suite of this home which includes a full-sized, in-suite washer/dryer. Your keyless entry code, which will be provided before you arrive, will allow you to settle in any time after 4 p.m. that best suits your travel schedule. Earlier check-ins can be accommodated on request most days.

Should you arrive after dark, a motion detection light and solar lights will guide your way down the walkway on the left of the home to your own entrance. The landing area inside the door has a mat for your footwear and hooks for outerwear, so just kick off your shoes, hang up your jackets, and follow the stairs down to your getaway!

Riverside suite was an excellent home base for 10 days. We found it to be very clean and comfortable as well as being very private.

Host was in contact with me over the stay and very helpful. The space is clean and new. Comfy bed. Luggage rack is a nice touch. Water filter too. Amenities nearby. Overall, great place which I'd recommend highly! P.S. We'll stay again on future trips to St Albert.

Everything went very smoothly with the check in process and the host was responded quickly to any questions. The unit was very clean and modern right down to the little details like feminine hygiene products, toiletries, coffee pods, tea, popcorn and pastries! Would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again !!

Had a great stay with my family of 4 for my son’s hockey camp. Host was awesome. Suite is super clean and modern and had everything we needed. Nice neighbourhood and close to amenities.

Perfect in every way!

Sandy’s suite is absolutely perfect! Extremely clean and comfortable. Great attention to detail has been taken to make your stay welcoming. Very close to a Coop for groceries and the neighbourhood is very safe. Highly recommend Sandy’s place for your stay in St Albert!!

Sandy was an excellent host! Her suite is very clean, fully stocked and comfortable. Cookies waiting when we arrived was a special touch. I definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a getaway in the St. Albert area.

Wonderful mini break

Sandy had excellent, prompt communication with us. The property was so clean and well maintained. She really puts in the extra effort with her little touches such as the heated mattress pad and the homemade baking. Will definitely come again!

Beautiful suite

Next door/walking distance to grocery/Tim Hortons. Beautifully decorated with all types of gadgets in kitchenette, including Keurig and air fryer. Sofabed was quite comfy. The heated mattress topper on the bed, plus welcome treats were a nice bonus.

Lovely decor and nice touches

My daughter and I stayed here while she was at a hockey tryout. It was an easy drive to the rinks. The unit is well appointed with lovely decor and nice touches to make you feel at home. Comfortable beds and cozy blankets helped when the evenings got chilly. Thanks!

In St.Albert for a few days visiting family. This property was incredibly convenient for it's location close to others - but was also clean, easy to access, and exactly as described. Nice.

The property is immaculate and the owner pays such attention to details. Very thoughtful of condiments from coffee pods to toothpaste etc. She is very thoughtful and so accommodating. I would highly recommend this place and we look forward to staying there again!

Wow!

This property is absolutely impeccable! The space is beautifully appointed and very cozy. A lot of thoughtful touches are put into making the stay comfortable and welcoming. Sandy is a wonderful host and communication with her was smooth. The bed is very comfortable as is the sofa bed. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Great stay

It was very clean and new . For the two of us, it was perfect for space and comfort. Loved the warming blanket.Also very much enjoyed the little things left in the bathroom. I did laundry too and that was very convenient.Only thing is I did not realize that a full kitchen did not include a stove. The fact I could not cook with that I found awkward. I used the airfryer to cook potatoes, green beans and some cod. I used the guide line carefully with time and temp. All with terrible results- too dry and overdone. I booked your place without realizing that this was not there. I was also encouraged about cooking a meal when you replied saying everyting I might need in the kitchen will be there. Somehow I still missed that info on the cooking lmitations. Otherewise, an excellent place to stay with a good price and would like to book this again in the future. THank you

Born and raised in Alberta, St. Albert has been my home for the last 20 years. Recently built my home in the new Riverside community and absolutely love this location! I completed my basement development for family and friends but decided to give short term rentals a go for the times it is vacant and so far so GOOD!

I have a love for anything outdoors preferably in the mountains or by water of any sort. At the top of my list is downhill biking, hiking, & scuba diving to name a few. If I have to endure the indoors, Reformer Pilates is a nearly daily activity of mine.

My 36 year career in Respiratory Therapy continues to be a challenging and enjoyable venture. I work in St. Albert at the local Sturgeon Community Hospital in acute care as well as in long term ventilator care at Capital Care Norwood in Edmonton.

Riverside is one of St. Albert's newest, established neighborhoods with full amenities less than one block away from where you'll be staying! Co-op grocery and gas, liquor, carwash, Tim Hortons, Subway, and more.

Two of St. Albert's golf courses, Sandpiper Golf & Country Club and Meadowview Golf & Country Club, are just a 6 and 10 minute drive respectively west on Meadowview Drive. The quiet country road of Meadowview Drive makes for a wonderful bike ride or run route with views of Big Lake and the countryside.... particularly impressive at sunset!

Our neighborhood is flanked by Grey Nuns White Spruce Park which is only a few minutes away by walking. The wooded trails through this park will lead you to the Sturgeon River and the Red Willow Trail system. Cross the bridge and you're a short walk to Big Lake. Enjoy watching the beavers and river inhabitants from the many picnic tables along the river as well as the BLESS Viewing Platform. Continue a bit further through the John. E. Poole Wetlands boardwalk to enjoy even more of our beautiful nature. Keep your eyes open for moose! Follow the mostly trailed walk the other direction from home and in ~ 1 km you'll be looping around Lacombe Lake on the north side of McKenney Avenue or, stay on the Red Willow Trail on this side of McKenney Avenue and in less than 3 km you'll be downtown St. Albert. There you can enjoy shopping, dining, spas, specialty shops, galleries, annual festivals, as well as western Canada's largest Farmer's Market every Saturday spring through to Thanksgiving...a local favorite.

If one of Edmonton's many events brings you here, this location is perfect! All of Edmonton's main attractions are only a short drive away.

My suite is a new development (completed in December of 2023) and because it's an extension of my home (although completely private for guests), I have set it up with quality furnishings and amenities as well as soundproofing from the main dwelling. The easy, private access as well as the conveniences of the neighborhood and surrounding area make this property an extra enjoyable stay!
