About This Holiday House
A private manor located on the gentle slopes of the lakefront hill in Acacia Bay. With the majestic mountains across the lake as a backdrop, the lodge offers stunning views of the town and the expansive lake.

The garden has been lovingly maintained for nearly 40 years, showcasing the distinct beauty of each season. A harmonious blend of flowers, trees, birds, and insects creates a picturesque and tranquil environment.

This is a home with stories, offering a serene space for both body and mind to relax and recharge.

Perfect for Couples, Friends, and Families
Acacia Bay Lodge is ideal for couples, groups of friends, and families. It features:
• Over 3,400 square meters of private gardens.
• Exclusive guest rooms.
• A dining room and kitchen with panoramic views.
• Spacious viewing terraces.

The garden boasts more than 20 varieties of fruit trees and dozens of flower species. From time to time, you might spot hens, ducks, turkeys, or sheep wandering through. We kindly ask you to treat these lovely visitors with care.

Accommodation Details
• Bedrooms: 4 rooms with comfortable bedding.
• Bathrooms: 2.5 bathrooms for guests’ use.
• Kitchen: A large, fully equipped kitchen with ample space for up to five people to cook together.
• Living Room: Includes a cozy fireplace, perfect for enjoying the warmth during winter.
• Outdoor Terrace: A large space for enjoying the views, having BBQs, or dining al fresco.

Thoughtful Amenities
• A coffee machine and tea set in the dining room bar.
• A BOSE sound system in the living room, thoughtfully provided by the owner, to enhance your experience. Enjoy a fragrant cup of coffee or a distinctive oolong tea while soaking in the scenery and music.

Privacy and Hosting
The host resides on the other side of the Big House, ensuring your privacy. Guests will have exclusive access to the living room, dining room, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms.

The host will personally welcome you upon arrival. Please contact them prior to your check-in time.

• Parties and Visitors: No parties or unregistered visitors are allowed. Please check in with the exact number of guests as booked.
• Quiet Hours: Maintain quiet after 11 PM.

House was adequate but not as expected bbq area yuk garden was not great for kids as dog poop on garden crockery did not match rubbish at front door! I would suggest that recheck the accommodation accurately

Good for a big group

Ashely was so helpful and kind- stayed up late to get us checked in since we were delayed!Her property is well appointed with everything you may need during your stay. Coffee was fantastic! Views are gorgeous!

Peaceful Perfection

We loved our stay at Ashley’s lovely home and gardens overlooking Lake Taupo and the mountains. It was peaceful and perfect. This spacious home is close enough to town thoroughly enjoy it and far enough away to rest and relax.

Large capacious property located not far from Taupo, and relatively near Kinlock as well. Great outdoor living space and worked well for our group of seven. Adults and kids.

Beautiful property, great quiet location.

Traveling with my family of 7 and my parents, I needed a place that could sleep 9 people. My options were slim, however we found the perfect place with this rental. The house and gardens are beautiful, the view is spectacular out to the lake. The location is extremely private, you wouldn’t know you were in a neighborhood as it’s surrounded by native bush. I was nervous from other reviews that the hosts would be onsite, however we never heard nor saw anyone, I actually don’t know if they were there at all!Communication was excellent, check in and check out were easy. I would rent again, 5 stars.

Nice property, clean and tidy. It was a little bit odd to have the owner there just through the wall. We noticed there were no smoke alarms too. The brackets are still there but no alarms.

Peaceful spot with beautiful views

We loved the peacefulness of the place and there were several spots to gather and talk, depending on the weather and the sun, which was great. I hadn't quite realised when I booked that the property manager actually lives in the house normally. There was a lot of food in the fridge and only 2 small shelves cleared for our use (5 adults). We had to rearrange the fridge and put a lot of food into the freezer to clear space. A 5th bed was made available but only had a bottom sheet on so we had to go looking for top sheet/duvet and a pillow and pillow case (found a duvet and pillow but no sheet or pillow case) The other beds were fine. However we had an enjoyable stay, thank you
