Suitable for families, groups, corporates, sports teams or couple get-aways. 3 bedrooms, sleep up to 7 people. Warm, comfortable and clean Lockwood style home. Close and easy drive to Cambridge, Don Rowlands Karapiro, Hobbiton, Mystery Creek, avantidrome, Festival One Hartford farm etc. Fully equipped kitchen and outdoor eating area.

Overlooking peaceful Waikato farmland this 3 bedroom private oasis is easy to enjoy as your home away from home. Warm in winter and sunny in summer with abundant native Birdlife all year around.
Relax while watching our Wiltshire sheep stud, NZ Dairy heifers and Welsh ponies.
3 respectable sized bedrooms are able to sleep up to seven guests (2 queen beds, 1 king single bed, 2 single beds). All linen and towels proved for your convenience.
Excellent equipped kitchen complete with full-sized oven, dishwasher, microwave, and baking equipment etc.
Laundry Room with washing machine and dryer.
Very private outdoor area with plenty of space for children to play outside. Plenty of carparking on site.

Great little cottage

Perfect for our stay. Oven, fridge, washing, machine and dryer were all required, and worked well. There were 4 of us, and we found the rooms and beds comfortable and all in a lovely setting.

Excellent Stay!

The property was so clean with comfortable beds, amazing views and so nice and quiet. Had everything we needed for the weekend, the linen & towels being supplied was a bonus! Great communication with the host. We wll defintely stay here again and have already recommened this place to many of our friends :)

Fabulous place to stay

Stunning outlook, loved hearing all the bird sounds. Lovely clean place, with everything supplied that you could need. Plenty of hot water, no cold showers. Very close to restaurants and cafes but situated in a quiet, rural setting. Totally recommend.

Bliss in the hills with the horses

Utterly stunning and well appointed home. The veiw was stunning, both the hills and the animals right at our doorstep. If we weren't already booked somewhere else further south i would have happily continued my whole stay in New Zealand there.It was super easy checking in and folder of surrounding activities was fabulously helpful to fill a day we hadnt decided on yet. Would happily return for another stay

Secluded farm cottage

Highly recommend this comfy, clean and well apportioned cottage in the middle of a farm. From our calm hideaway we easily day tripped to Rotorua’s geothermal hot springs, Waitomo cave, and Hobbiton (be sure to book months ahead).As we sit on blue porch chairs, background sounds include sheep baahing, bird calls, sometimes the wind soughs. The sun sets and the house looks down and over a beautiful valley where the hills glow.

An animal-loving toddler’s dream

We loved our stay here. Rosanna and Nathan are incredibly sweet and so obviously love their home and all that’s on it. The cottage was clean and well kept with plenty of space for sleeping. We loved picking apples for the ponies so our daughter could greet them good morning. The sheep, naturally, kept their distance from us, but we got to see them when we went to find the big oak tree with the rope swings near the sheep paddock. The cows had a lot to say and absolutely made our toddler’s day to hear all different sorts of mooing. We would stay here again!

We loved our stay here. What a great introduction to beautiful New Zealand. Surrounded by lush green scenery and wonderful bird calls we enjoyed the peacefulness of this place after a hectic 13 hour flight. Had a question about the water and the host very quickly responded.
They have horses!!

Rosanna was beyond accomodating for my mother who’s in a wheelchair. She had measured her stairs and the angle so I could get a temporary ramp to fit. The views were stunning and everything was perfect as I stayed here the night before my wedding. Everyone who stayed/visited commented on the wonderful views.

Home away from Home

The home was lovely, easy and comfortable, beds were really comfortable, plenty of blankets and duvets. There was 5 of us from 13 - 87 years old, and we all loved the home and the location, it suited all of our needs. We cooked our most of our meals, kitchen was well equipped.The view from the deck is stunning, we were there for the opening of duck season, and while having coffee on the deck enjoying the scenery and the sun, we heard some shots way off in the distance. Excellent home away from home.Thank you
