Wonderful stay in magical brekenridge

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Visitors from the UK so great to have really quick responses to any queries regarding the stay. It was very straightforward and comms were really good. We were really pleased with the apartment. It was modern and cosy. Was lovely and spacious and clean. There were plenty of towels and we felt very comfortable. It was a perfect location too for the town and the slopes. The only slight negative, which was more of an annoyance and not the hosts fault, but the people upstairs were very noisey at times. They did sound like a heard of buffaloes!

The condo was so clean and easy access to the skating rink. I wish the pool and hot tubs were open longer but overall the stay was excellent!

The Smell....

Unit has a great location to downtown, but the awful smell in the unit was just plain bad. No amount of open windows could get rid of it. It's as if it's imbedded in the carpets, furniture, or both. Unit appeared clean, but we just felt we were staying in filth. Would not stay here again ever.

Okay, so the unit was updated and could have been a really great place except for the following:- Not quite. The person in the unit above was very loud (think this was a tenant and not a short term rental). Woke us up every morning at 5:30am. It sounded like a herd of buffalo. Not kidding.-Bathroom was DIRTY! Pink mildew all over the shower curtain and tile. I dreaded showering. (Also, we weren’t provided enough towels).- Place had a bit of smell to it. - The area rugs were dirty. Didn’t look like it was vacuumed or washed before we got there (area rugs in bathroom, kitchen and hallway).- The bed in the bedroom… there was no headboard and bumped up against a window (dusty dirty curtains next to my head as I slept.. yuck!). nothing to lean on made it impossible to sit in bed and read or watch tv (or you risk falling out the window!) - lamp in bedroom didn’t work.- Fake plants do warm the space and provide color… but when they are super dusty it makes you start wondering how clean everything else is.- The check in instructions failed to tell us how parking worked.To end on a positive note… the bus stop was right across the street and it was very easy to walk into town.Overall, not for me. Booked the place based on 9.6 rating and cleanliness reviews. Super disappointed.

I booked this place for staying during my work trip. It was really useful to have kitchen and sit next to the fire place at the evenings, but some things about that property were not great at all. Cleanliness is one point of concern. Sink at the bathroom was clogged and not really clean, long hair was at the carpet, I am not sure if vacuum was used after previous guests. Another thing what was important for me is heating pool. I booked this place specifically looking at heating pool since I hoped to soak there after hard working day with a lot of meetings, but pool hours during winter season are only from noon to 8pm. So, my work meetings ended at 8pm and I couldn't soak even once what was really disappointing. I believe that this information about pool hours should be available before booking.

Christmas vacation

Stayed the week of Christmas and the location and condo itself was great. Five minute walk to the lift. Very clean and well supplied. Perfect for a family of 3 or 4. I would stay again!

Beautiful stay

Very satisfied with our stay. Traveled with my partner and three year old and this location was everything we needed. Close enough to Main Street to walk. Cozy and clean, guest handbook was very usueful to find activities and places to eat in town. Definitely recommend if you will be in Breckenridge

We didn't realize that the condo itself is in a set of condos where regular long term residents live. The kitchen was well equipped even though we didn't cook very much. Of course, if you are depending on the the free bus to get to you to the grocery store, it is a little difficult to get a large amount of groceries back to the condo. The condo is beautifully decorated in a rustic style befitting the surroundings and the bathroom which is one of my biggest concerns felt like new. The overall condo was very clean. The view out the back patio was just of other condos. My only disappointment was that you had to request house cleaning services 72 hours in advance. It may have said that on the booking info but I missed it. The fan in the bedroom made some noise that made it hard or me to sleep and bathroom door had a major squeak in the hinges. While this property was a good choice, because we are older it would have been nice to have delivery services for groceries, etc. I don't know if these were available.
