Hermosa remodelación de Tahoe: a pie de playa, restaurantes y tiendas.

Esta cabaña construida en 1947 ha sido remodelada para que esté completa con las comodidades modernas, pero aún conserva el encanto del Viejo Tahoe, y la hemos cubierto con un poco de elegancia. Nuevos electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable en la cocina con nuevos mostradores y barra de mosaico a medida. Cocina totalmente equipada con todos los platos, ollas y sartenes necesarios, utensilios, batidora, licuadora, botellero, etc. Baño de mármol brasileño y granito se hunden en el baño, con bañera y ducha vintage. El dormitorio principal en la planta baja tiene cama king size con dosel, arriba tiene cama king y litera. Todas las camas tienen colchones nuevos con ropa de cama y almohadas de calidad, y ropa de cama nueva y fresca. Pac N Play y trona siempre. 3 televisores (cable): uno en cada habitación y sala de estar. TV en la sala tiene DVR y reproductor de DVD y una gran biblioteca de DVD. Juegos proporcionados: dominó, cribbage, póker, bingo, monopolio, etc. Esta pequeña joya tiene la ubicación perfecta de solo 5 minutos a pie del lago, restaurantes, tiendas, alquileres. Northstar, Diamond Peak, Mt Rose, Homewood, Squaw Valley están a solo 15 a 25 minutos en coche en cualquier dirección. El campo de golf más cercano está a solo 2 minutos en coche. La casa se encuentra en un lote de esquina en la pintoresca comunidad de Kings Beach, lo que hace que el acceso sea perfecto para los nevados meses de invierno. Porche trasero perfecto para guardar equipos de esquí y embarque. Los meses de verano brindan un patio trasero para relajarse en una hamaca, una hoguera de gas para tostar malvas, una parrilla de gas y una mesa de picnic para disfrutar de las comidas de verano. A gem of a cabin just up the road from King's Beach

We stayed here last summer and loved it so much that we came back again this summer! Beautifully furnished inside, lovely outdoor area with a hammock perfect for lounging, all these little details that make your stay especially lovely like fans that work well to bring in cool air in the evening and little wind chimes that tinkle relaxingly as you swing gently in the hammock and stakes for roasting marshmallows over the outdoor firepit and a wagon to tote whatever you want to bring from the giant library of beach gear. Owner is wonderful and responsive and kind. A+ destination for your next Tahoe getaway.

Excellent Family vacation!

This was the perfect house for our family vacation. The house was perfectly decorated cozy rustic cabin feel, very clean and has all the accessories that made it a east fun enjoyable trips. My family really enjoyed playing corn hole and hammock was a bonus! The kayak and beach wagon and supplies was very useful . Beds were incredibly comfortable and location is spot on ! Perfect! Thanks again!!!!

Great stay

The rental had everything you could need and more. The quality of the towels, bedding, appliances, kitchen equipment, bikes were all very nice. It was clean, in a great location and the amenities were a wonderful touch. We would definitely stay here again.

Kings Beach Cabin-mid July

Had a great time with our 4 family members in the middle of July. The house was small but accommodated the 4 of us. The location was awesome and the outside sitting area was relaxing. The owners had though of everything from bikes to kayak and we used almost all of the toys they provided. We loved our time there and would definitely do it again.

A little gem of a cabin

We had such a lovely stay in this welcoming, incredibly well stocked cabin just blocks away from the beach. We’ve stayed in many places in Tahoe, but none so thoughtfully equipped as this one. Everything we could possibly want, we found: plentiful towels, cozy blankets, a well stocked kitchen, plenty of space to unpack, easy-to-reach plugs next to the nightstands (a small thing but so appreciated!), a cooler, a wagon, a kayak and life jackets and beach gear galore. We are outside every evening at the picnic table and lounged in the super comfortable hammock and made frequent trips down the road to the beach. Thank you so much!

Charm and Location!

Stayed in this charming cottage over Labor Day after a wedding in the area. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. The welcome basket was an unexpected surprise and the bottle of wine was excellent. It as the perfect space for the two of us. Comfortable bed. I napped in the hammock. We used the fire pit each night. Really nice kayak that we rolled to the beach a few blocks away. We found the most amazing rock swimming area a short kayak away. Wow! Lake Tahoe is unbelievably beautiful and our stay at this cottage added to the experience. Would definitely stay again.

Great location and lots of extras

We had a great stay. The cabin is walking distance to the beach, and the owners have stocked the cabin with just about everything - bicycles, a kayak, beach umbrella and chairs, beach toys, towels, fire pit with marshmallow sticks, a hammock, etc. Makes it easy to just show up and enjoy.

Fantastic Location!

The location of this cabin is perfect, walking distance to Kings Beach shops and waterfront. The size of the place was perfect for our group of 4, but might be tight for bigger groups. A few things to note: the next door neighbors are realllyyyy close, just something to be aware of before booking. Also, I checked with the owners the night before check in because I didn't get instructions yet to get in the place and they sent me a contract to sign. I was already on the road so wasn't able to do that, but definitely something that should have been done in advance (why is a contract necessary?)...but with everything going on right now it's not a big deal...but worth mentioning.

Quick summer get away

Had a great time with friends at this house. It is as advertised with a 5 minute walk to beach. So convenient to have all we needed for the beach and to not have to worry about parking. The outdoor living space was great and the indoor space cozy. Owner was very responsive.

Relaxing - such a sweet house!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is small but really well equipped. Everything was very clean and the backyard was my favorite spot to start each morning my kids and I sat at the table in the sunshine and played cards while I drank coffee, in the evenings we ate our dinner at the picnic table. And, of course everyone enjoyed the hammock and fire pit. The wagon, cooler, chairs, etc. for the beach were so great! The owners were incredibly responsive and kind. We'd stay here again.

A great relaxing family getaway

The kitchen is great to cook in, all brand new and just about everything you need provided. The amenities are clear and well thought out. Beds are comfortable and the owners were super helpful. They really think of everything you might need for just hanging out or having a fun time at the beach.

Charming, convenient, thoughtfully appointed!

Our family of 5 very much enjoyed our time in Jackie’s amazing Tahoe cabin. Decorated with cozy in mind, with all the necessities for cooking, staying in (the large assortment of DVDs was a lot of fun), and sleds to boot! We ate in each morning and evening, only grabbing lunch on the mountain. The kitchen is thoughtfully set up - with all necessary items and a bonus cast iron skillet!!! Safeway is super close, making quick runs for forgotten ingredients a very simple affair. We made quick time to Northstar (less than 15” door to door). We are definitely hoping to come back! Thank you for a memorable stay!

Very nice!

The property was as really nice and very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the little extras were great, like the beach towels, beach chairs, etc. We mountain bike, and it was close to some great trails. Jackie was an excellent host...would stay there again.

Perfect cabin for our Tahoe stay!!!

We absolutely loved the cabin and our kids loved the upstairs bunk beds. Super equipped with everything we needed and Jackie was a wonderful host. Comfy and cozy beds and all around great experience. Would definitely come back!

Exceptional Cabin in North Lake Tahoe!

From booking through checking out, Bob and Jackie made our stay one for the books! They worked with our travel schedule and offered us a 3 night stay during New Years when a 4 day stay is usually required. After that, Jackie took lots of time to answer questions and provided all the information needed to get us to their quaint cabin in Kings Beach. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a visual feast! The cabin is expertly decorated giving it a classic Tahoe feel. They truly kept the charm of their small cabin while updating it to modern standards. The kitchen was ideal and all the new appliances worked as advertised. Having a gas stove and range was an added bonus! The bedrooms were equally appointed. The beds were very comfortable and helped us rest and recover from a couple hard days of skiing. The bathroom was also amazing. The new fixtures in there really worked well and it was great having a large tub for a quick hot bath to sooth sore muscles! Finally, Bob and Jackie spared no expense at making us feel at home. From a large dining table that accommodated all of our guests easily, to the classic board games around the house, to the great TVs in each room, and the basket of oranges, chocolate, coffee and wine they left for us, we truly felt welcomed into a little slice of Tahoe life! We can’t wait to go back to Cabin Elegance!

Bob and Jackie are Californian natives and both have been visiting the Tahoe area since childhood. When looking to invest in the area themselves and first saw this property in fall of 2015, it was a fixer upper in every way. In spite of its' condition, they fell in love with what they saw when everyone else was running away. They saw its' good bones and a huge amount of Old Tahoe, and could see it being brought back to its' glory. So with a labor love and whole bunch of fun, they made it happen. They brought to life, "Cabin Elegance", not just so they, their children and grandchildren could now enjoy Tahoe, but others could enjoy what Tahoe use to be with the grandeur of times past and the pleasantries it still offers today.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

A beautiful and grand restoration of most of Lake Tahoe has been in the works for a few years now but Kings Beach seemed to retain its old Tahoe feel and integrity in spite of modern conveniences which can easily take away what use to be. Its location is central to different ski resorts within minutes, as well as snowmobiling rentals and trails, shuttle service to ski resorts in walking distance, snowplowing done several times a day.. It offers the largest beach on the lake, summer offers Shakespearian festival just miles away, golfing is within walking distance, celebrity golf tournaments only 45 min. away, casinos only 5 min away, hosts stations for bike races, perfect for all water sports (i.e. jet skiing, parasailing, kite surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc.), state parks with mansions and castles nearby, public transportation to ski resorts, and lake destinations available, restaurants, shops, art, rentals, and 4th of July fireworks that have been placed as 2nd best in California are right there in Kings Beach.

Convenience is so great being so close to beach, shops, restaurants, & more. We have 4 beach cruiser bikes, beautiful private yard, gas fire pit to enjoy night mallows, gas barbeque and picnic table for outdoor dining, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, and wagon to carry it all, plus 3 man kayak. We are only minutes to several world famous ski resorts, our location have roads plowed several times a day, the drive way is plowed every morning every 4 inches of snow, back porch set up for ski equipment storage, gas log fireplace makes for convenience heating, 24 hr Safeway 2 min drive away, pharmacies, and gas stations about 2 minutes away, along with shops and restaurants only walking distance. The remodeled inside is still filled with old Tahoe charm, a kitchen supplying all that's needed with modern conveniences, and the best beds on the lake.
