Acerca de este alojamiento
La Scie, 10 p., at the beautiful “Domaine de Vincenti”
“Sweeten your life”: “La Scie,” 187 m2, is located at the Gates of Provence, in the Drôme Valley, at the “Domaine de Vincenti”, our family estate for over four centuries.
We installed it in an old stone building. It is fully equipped and it offers exceptional comfort. It is elegantly and very tastefully decorated with plenty of space, light and charm. The park covers more than 24 acres, with a tennis court, a bowling green, a swimming pool and children's play areas, all shared.
For short stays of 3 to 5 nights, contact us at “le Domaine de Vincenti”: our daily prices drop considerably after 2 nights. We will be delighted to warmly welcome you together with your family, your children and friends for a wonderful vacation in France. Brigitte and Bernard
Arrivals: between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM
Departures:
- Regular days: before 10:00 AM
- Sundays and public holidays: before 6:00 PM
INTERIOR:
The ground floor includes a spacious living-dining-room of 50 m2, a semi-open kitchen, a toilet with WC and laundry. The living room is very large, with 3 m high ceilings, two comfortable sofas, TV, Wi-Fi, ancient furniture and a fireplace to spend cozy hours by the fire. We installed a complete connected Home Cinema for you to listen to your preferred music or watch your favorite movies and pictures. The dining table can accommodate 10 people; the dishes of white Limoges porcelain and the cutlery are elegant, and you will be charmed by the simplicity, taste and purity of the decoration.
The kitchen is fully equipped with many accessories and appliances: stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, food processor, raclette machine, toaster, blender... The laundry-room has a washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board, a vacuum cleaner... The cottage is also equipped with an excellent gas-powered central heating system: everything has been planned to provide you with a most convenient time in Vincenti. Upstairs, you will find 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with WC, one of them being attached to a bedroom. We selected your bedding with great care, to give you maximum comfort: we also prepare the Cottage according to the specific needs of your family and all bedrooms can be arranged either with a double bed 180x200 cm (King size) or two separate beds 90x200. When you arrive at Vincenti, your rooms and your bathrooms will be ready, carefully prepared with high quality linen, duvets and towels. If necessary, we add baby beds, highchairs and changing tables: we want to provide the best environment for your little ones.
The villa is non-smoking and pets are not allowed.
EXTERIOR:
We have plenty of space in Vincenti: the 24-acre park, with century-old trees, opens onto a small forest with a little stream. From the property, one can directly walk, bike or jog in the surrounding hills and countryside. The cottage has a private terrace with plenty of garden furniture and an outdoor fire pit for pleasant campfires under the stars. A gas barbecue is also available. Naturally, gas and wood are provided free of charge! For children, we have a covered playground with ping pong table, sandbox, playhouses and outdoor toys. There are also swings and huge lawns to run and safely play. The tennis court, with its training wall and basketball pole, is available year-round and the large, shared swimming pool of 8x14 m is open from May 1 to September 30. The park is secured to the side of the road and there is plenty of space to park cars. If necessary, we also provide a garage for motorbikes or bicycles with tools to maintain them.
RESERVATIONS AND YOUR ARRIVAL:
We are open all year and offer maximum comfort in all seasons. Our prices are 'all inclusive', except for the local tax and a small surcharge if you want a change of linen and towels during your stay. During summer, our rentals are through the week, from Monday to Monday, to help you avoid the traffic jams of the weekends and allow you to spend a full weekend in Vincenti. The rest of the year, our rentals are scheduled with lots of flexibility for varying lengths of time. Do not hesitate to ask us for the special conditions we offer for stays of 3 to 5 days or for rentals of several cottages and/or several weeks.
Contact us and we will give you the additional information you may need. We will then finalize your reservation. We will be on site the day of your arrival to welcome you and introduce you to your cottage and our estate. We will do everything to make your stay in France very successful.
THE REGION, THE CLIMATE AND THE OUTDOORS ACTIVITIES:
The Drôme Valley is halfway between Lyon and Avignon in the South-East of France. The climate is almost Mediterranean, with 2,900 hours of sunshine per year and, usually, dry summers. As always in the South of France, one may sometimes experience a few windy days: it is part of the landscape of the South! The river Drôme runs through the valley, and its water is very clean with, in fine weather, excellent swimming and beautiful kayak rides. The Domaine de Vincenti is located in the countryside, and the pace of life is tranquil and peaceful, allowing for a great holiday, just on-site. But there are also many hikes available close by, in the open countryside. The Pre-Alps, the Vercors Mountains, the Forest of Saoû…, hold many other possibilities. For the sports oriented, the region offers exiting opportunities for jogging, hiking, mountain biking, horseback or bicycle riding, climbing, via-ferrata, acrobranching, kayaking ...
SHOPPING:
The Domaine de Vincenti is 3 kilometers away from the small town of Crest, with its famous medieval tower. One can find anything in Crest: supermarkets, bookstores, bakeries, butchers, wine shops, hairdressers, post office, organic food stores, fruit and vegetable shops, restaurants, bistros, pharmacies, doctors, gas stations, garages ... and a large open market every Saturday morning.
WINES, FOOD AND VISITS:
In Crest, visit the beautiful ancient tower which overlooks the town for 900 years and offers spectacular views of the valley. In the area, there are also quantities of charming old villages to discover, often perched on hilltops, with their ancient streets, their country bistros and unassuming restaurants. Everywhere, the region offers varied and enchanting landscapes: plains and colorful agricultural valleys, vineyards, fields of lavender, fruit trees and truffle oaks; wild hills and mountains with Provencal accents…
The many traditional local markets also give you an opportunity to meet friendly local farmers who sell, with a chanting accent, their vegetables, fruits, goat cheese, olive and lavender oil, garlic, truffles, traditional breads, wines ... In a radius of 15 to 60 kms, visit the famous vineyards of the Côte du Rhône: Clairette de Die, Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas, Saint-Joseph, … the tasteful Provencal wines of the Nyonsais and the area of Grignan, produced since Roman times...
A little further away, at 1h15, discover the mythical old cities of Avignon and Lyon, loaded with history, charming with their lively pace and diversity, both listed on the UNESCO World Heritage. Throughout the year, participate in many cultural events available in the area: festivals, exhibitions, concerts...
For lunch or dinner outside, make a reservation in one of the excellent village restaurants in the valley or in the old city of Valence, 30 minutes away. For the food-passionate, do not miss the very famous Restaurant Pic in Valence, with its 3 Michelin stars!
HOW TO GET TO THE DOMAINE DE VINCENTI?
To reach the Domaine de Vincenti, you will leave the A7 highway at Valence-Sud or Loriol, depending on you arrive from the North or the South of France. From there, you will drive 25 minutes to reach us. Driving from Geneva or Grenoble on the A49 you will leave the highway at the second exit after the toll of Romans and then drive 35 minutes to get to Vincenti. If you come by train from Lyon, Roissy Charles de Gaulle, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam... the easiest way is to arrive at the Valence-TGV station and rent a car. You will then drive 35 minutes to reach us. In all cases, we will give you GPS coordinates and an accurate location map to guide your trip.

Acerca de su propietario/a
Propietario/a: Brigitte de Valence
Bernard and I both grew up in the Drôme Valley and we love this magnificent area of France, with its very diverse landscapes and its Provencal flavor. We have lived a long time in the US and in Switzerland and our large family, which lives in many parts of the world, has kept strong roots in this beautiful region.
Por qué escogió este alojamiento
The Domaine de Vincenti has belonged to our family for a very long time: 400 years. Bernard’s father worked here as a farmer from the 50s to 70’s. Since we took over the responsibility for the estate, we gradually restored it and, in 2016, we finished the complete transformation of its former farm buildings and converted them into luxury holiday homes.
Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial
Our cottages and the park of our estate provide exceptional space, comfort and charm. The site and the region of the Drôme Valley are delightful and ideal for relaxing, site-seeing, active holidays and reunions with family or friends...
