Melancy waterfront cottage in Sainte-Agathe Nord (Ivry-sur-le-Lac).
The lakefront and hot tub waterfront view is just perfect for stargazing at night and relaxing. Melancy Cottage is a quiet oasis nestled between Ste-Agathe-des-Monts & Mont-Tremblant, known as the Westmount of the Laurentians! This is one of the largest lakes in the area (Lac Manitou). You have access to the lake with your own private dock and/or if you prefer to go to the municipal beach just steps away.
This is not your typical cottage, it has been renovated and has a beautiful kitchen with all the works of an actual home! Enjoy a cappuccino or latté, grill on a brand-new Napoleon BBQ, and sleep on comfortable beds. The waterfront SPA will be the A-HA moment you have been waiting for in both winter and summer! And, if you really need to work, well we have an office space with high-speed internet (Bell Fibe) fastest internet! We have back-up generator should we be hit with a storm, you will be able to continue enjoying the cottage! The shed is equipped with 4 kayaks and a paddleboard, which you can just drop at our private dock and enjoy the access to our beautiful Lake Manitou!

Melancy: short for Melissa (francophone) and Nancy (anglophone) we are both from Montreal and currently living in the city. Our dream is to retire in the Laurentians and Ivry is really an oassis of peace and tranquility.
Por qué escogió este alojamiento
We decided to purchase here because of the views this cottage has in front of the lake. We walked the property and both decided where to install our spa feature. It turned out spectacular as the view and position of the spa is dreamy. We also find that the location is close enough to go into the "city" St. Agathe if necessary, to pick-up food and groceries - it's 6km from our cottage. We are also so close to the petit train du nord, one of the longest trails going all the way north or south to Piedmont - just 1 km from our cottage. And, then if you are a skier - we are close to Mont Blanc and Tremblant (our fav) is just 20 minute drive from our home. Easy access to the highway, we are not deep into the woods where it takes 45 minutes to get out - everything is just easy. The other reason we like the neighborhood it's the friendly people in Ivry - being that we are city slickers, we were welcomed by a lot of people around the lake and everyone is so friendly.

This cozy yellow cottage home is unique to us as we like to have everyday comforts and not feel like you are renting a Shack! We enjoy travelling and we have tried to bring all the elevated comforts to this cottage. We have lived in the cottage for the last 4 years and we never missed anything.
