Great loft, quiet with great view of the lake. Great location to hiking and other areas. Amenities hit the spot with the sauna and hot tub.

The place was beautiful! The bed was so comfortable! It was a great location to just about everything! The only down side was the 20 steps into the place! Hard after hiking all day. Did not use the hot tub or sauna. Everything else was wonderful!!

A fantastic experience

This was a phenomenal property to stay at. I really appreciated how clear the directions and communications from the property owner were. The location is great - perfect for hiking around Hocking Hills. At first I was a bit hesitant about the decor in the property, but it eventually grew on me - I love all the little decorations and details everywhere. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a quiet, clean, visually stimulating place to stay.

Hocking Hills

We visited Hocking Hills State Park and our stay in Evelyn’s loft was just lovely. The loft is top-notch and had every amenity. It was private, quiet, and very well maintained. Five stars!

Absolutely wonderful!

My husband and i spent our hineymoon here. We couldn't have asked for a better spot. First night we went down to get firewood and we saw the most docile deer just checking us out. It was magical. The property is very close to everything and is gorgeous! We will stay here again!

Lovely place to stay

Very quaint and clean in a nice quiet neighborhood. The hottub was nice and we made good use out of the kayaks that were available for the lake. Super beautiful view of lake logan and surrounding area. Evelyn was also very nice and easy to communicate with.

Anniversary Getaway

The space and location was perfect. It had everything we needed and then some. Close proxity to hiking and grocery. Kayaks and other amenities a bonus. Would definitely recommend!

Enjoyable

Went away for our anniversary- took 1yo with us. Loved the location close to parks, cute property, easy to locate. This current property allowed kids, other than having a pack n play, would not recommend for small children.. lots of cute decor for temptation. Steep stairwell.. it's the prefect getaway when child free 🙂

Lovely cabin, fabulous view

We were really impressed with the Loft. It was very clean and well appointed. It wasn't one thing that we needed that was not supplied. The deck was our favorite spot with a beautiful view of the lake and the ravine. We could see the deer come in at night to feed under the light. That was a special treat. The firefly lights were magical. So many unexpected special features. We enjoyed both the hot tub and the sauna. We will definitely plan another trip soon. Thank you for everything.

Lovely place, beautiful views

The loft is charming and has moved to the top of my list on pleasant experiences. Everything is spotlessly clean. Thought appointed and lacking nothing. Watered and convenient. The sauna was a surprise as it is new since I made my reservation. I really enjoyed using it. It has a lovely view of the lake. The entire cabin and deck have beautiful views of the lake and the ravine. Firepit was very private and so beautiful. The high-quality Adirondack chairs were clean and comfortable. Next time I'm going to bring my granddaughter. She will love fishing off the dock. I'm coming back in July to take advantage of the kayaks and I want to see the gardens in their full glory. The butterfly garden is especially intriguing to me. The clay sculptures throughout the 7 acre property are lovely touch. I understand they are made by a local artist. I thought we would get out and do some hiking but the property is so inclusive we never felt a need to leave. We did go around the corner for coffees and breakfast. Cute little shop. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We are mother and daughter, Catherine and Evelyn. We moved to the Hocking Hills in 2006 and have enjoyed the area very much. We started a vacation rental business in 2014 with a one bedroom cabin in the loft of our barn on our lake front property, called Lake Logan Loft. It has been such a wonderful experience over 3 years that we decided to sell our rental business in another part of the state and invest in really special residences that we could share with you! Welcome to our Cut Above Cabins, in the Hocking Hills. We have 3 large Lodges each in secluded wooded areas on several acres each. We also have Château Lake Logan in a quiet residential area on the lake with 3 one bedroom suites and 1 two bedroom suite. We hope you will choose to stay with us when you plan our vacation to this special area known as the Hocking Hills Region.

The property is on the lake so you have full access to kayaking, canoeing and fishing. 4 acres of gardens and ravines. Plenty of privacy. Not secluded. The caves are 8 miles away. Restaurants/bars are 2 miles away. Coffee Shop is 1/2 mile. We are 3 miles off of the HWY St Rt. 33. 55 minutes from Columbus Airport.
