What We Love
Location:
A short walk to Terrigal Beach, the rock pool, and the Esplanade cafés and restaurants. Quiet, leafy, and residential — peaceful enough to switch off, close enough to walk everywhere. Multiple car spaces on site.
The Setting:
The upper balcony sits literally at canopy level — you're not looking up at trees, you're sitting among them. Lush palms and native bush surround the home on all sides. There is genuinely nowhere else in Terrigal that looks or feels like this.
Pet Friendly: Canopy House warmly welcomes your four-legged family members. The lush garden surroundings make it one of the best pet-friendly stays on the Central Coast — because the best beach trips always include the dog.

The Location
Riviera Avenue is one of Terrigal's most leafy residential streets — nature on the doorstep, beach within walking distance. Note the walk involves a hill in parts — a short drive gets you there in under two minutes.
Canopy House doesn't change with the seasons — the palms stay lush, the bush stays green, and the courtyard stays sheltered all year long. Summer means beach days, balcony mornings, and the kids in bunk beds counting down to the next swim. Winter in Terrigal is mild and quietly magical — the Esplanade restaurants come into their own, the beach belongs to the early risers and the dog walkers, and the canopy setting feels even more like a private world. If you've ever wanted to walk a winter beach at sunrise with your dog and come home to a warm house in the trees — this is where you do it. Whatever the season, Canopy House is Terrigal at its most genuine.
Guest Access:
Being a tree house there are steps up to the front door. The Canopy House has parking for multiple cars and plenty of on street parking also.

Terrigal is a popular coastal suburb on the Central Coast of New South Wales, known for its vibrant beachside lifestyle and stunning natural scenery. It’s centred around Terrigal Beach, a long sandy shore with great swimming, surfing, and views of the iconic Skillion headland, and is just a short walk from Barnhill Beach House.
The area offers a lively village atmosphere with a variety of cafés, restaurants, shops, and local markets, making it a favourite holiday destination for families, couples, and groups. Terrigal also has easy access to nearby beaches like Avoca and Wamberal, as well as water activities at Terrigal Lagoon.
With a mix of relaxed coastal living and active leisure opportunities, Terrigal combines beautiful ocean views, outdoor adventures, and community charm, making it one of the most sought‑after spots on the Central Coast.
Other Things to Note:
Coast Hosting is a professional hosting company and will ask you to provide a digital copy of your ID prior to arrival. These details are required via a secure, online Guest Check in Form and the details are stored safely.
We also require a refundable security bond of $500, which will be held for the duration of your stay to cover any potential damages. This will be released within 7 days after your departure, provided there are no issues.
You will be asked to provide your card details via the same secure online check-in form. These details are encrypted and securely processed through the Stripe payment gateway.
We are governed by and fully comply with strict privacy laws, and your details will not be shared or retained.

Relaxing get away
A great property that is 10 minutes walk from beaches and cafes. Beautiful views. Beautifully furnished main bedroom and living area. The bunks were small for older children. But a happy experience overall.

Home away from home
This is a lovely property,exactly as photographed and description is accurate. Very peaceful, with grass parrots joining us on the balcony verandah nestled in amongst the tree canopy as we sipped the wine left as a welcome gift. Beds where very comfortable and kitchen was well appointed. My family and I enjoyed a very relaxing much needed break. Thank you
