This is a student accommodation building that is empty during the uni break.
It's around 25 minutes away by bus from the city centre/waverly station, and quiet empty nearby. The bus stop is 4 minutes by walk from the place.
There's a McDonald's nearby that's open late, and an Asian grocery store downstairs.
It's a great place if you want to visit during the Fringe, as there's not a lot of places within the city that are at this price or quiet enough to sleep.
But even then it was a bit expensive just to sleep.
The mattresses are lumpy and worn out, the linen dusty, the floor not vacuumed enough, but if you are walking all over the fringe, what you need is a bed to pass out in a quiet room and that's there.
There's no one to open your door if you lose the key, and they want to charge you money to bring another a person who lives in the same building to unlock it for you.
The check in and check out was smooth, and the student representative was quite helpful.
I would live here again but for not more 3/4 days when all I need is a bed to crash.
