No joke water pressure

The place was beautiful and super clean. The room was very spacious. It felt like we were in a studio instead of a hotel room. The water pressure was no joke 😄. The bed was perfect, not too hard but not too soft either. They have quiet hours in placed so it was peaceful and quiet. They have a rec room with a pool table.

Good option to stay for Acadia Trip

The Stone Park Hotel is a perfect hotel for people coming to Acadia. The summer prices are so high everywhere else. The cost is still high, but the Stone Park is new and clean and efficient. There are some things to note-- security could be tighter, we had trouble getting refreshed towels and our room refreshed when requested and there is no elevator for those that need one (older, physical limitations or families with lots of things). The pool area is nice, the hotel was clean, which is the most important thing to me, the location was central and there is a gym. I would stay there again. It fit its purpose.

The pool was slimmy with green stuff on the bottom. NOT handicaped friendly. No elevator and no self opening front door! I requested a room next to my nephew when I booked the room, but they put us on separate floors! Game room is way out in pool area. Couldn't get regular tv to work. A/c wouldnt stay at the temp set. No ice machines. Good open air self park. Breakfast is limited. Not worth the price!!!

Comfort and convenience

The property was very clean and everything was comfortable. Loved having the kitchen and everything right in the room. There was a bit of a mix up with my room but the staff on site handles everything perfectly. My only complaint is that the room we had was next to the laundry for the location itself, which at times was very loud. It would not be ideal for a light sleeper thankfully we did not have any issues due to being tired each night from sightseeing. Overall loved my stay and would recommend.

Stone Park was a great place to stay! It's brand new, so everything is clean and really nice. It was great to have the 2 rooms, plus a fridge and stove. Everyone front the hotel was really friendly and excellent to work with. It is on the south side of Ellsworth, so it is easier to get to Acadia and Bar Harbor.

Only real issue I can think of is there is no elevator or restroom in the lobby. Wife said the bathroom could you more light and a mirror outside the bathroom. Room was clean, the bed and pull-out bed were comfortable. water was hot with good pressure, TV was great, and internet was fast and solid.

The hotel was great for our needs and family. We needed a close-ish stay to Acadia that we booked last minute. As other reviews have stated, it is not the most secure hotel (exterior doors didn’t appear to lock, if you check in late they leave your door code in an envelope by the front desk) but there were multiple security cameras and we felt safe the whole time. There is no elevator so be sure to request the first floor if needed. We were fine with the stairs. We found the room to be comfortable and spacious. The sofa bed was actually quite comfortable and the linens were in a drawer in the main bedroom. It was nice to have the full fridge and stove, but we didn’t need it. We didn’t have the chance to use the pool but it looked great. While the property didn’t advertise breakfast, there were muffins, fruit and coffee which was great to grab and go. The property was clean, although our room did have a faint dog smell (it’s a pet friendly property). Parking was plentiful and it was easy to get to Bar Harbor. If you’re ok with a few quirks, I think it’s a great and reasonably priced option for families. We would stay again if we were in the area.
