Quiet and comfortable

Quiet and comfort! I slept well for the first time in a year. I really liked this hotel. Had a quiet room facing table mountain, a lovely tub (no water restriction at this time) and managed to have a restful night's sleep. Walkable distance to where I needed to be. Breakfast was incredible and chef accommodated my order (half-sized breakfast). Alternative milk options are available. And lovely and accommodating staff. All round a great spot to stay.

Hidden gem in the city

The location of this hotel was ideal as I needed to be close to the HC. Also feels very safe to walk to nearby attractions like the museum and company gardens. Breakfast was great and hotel finishings were modern and classy. Very spacious and quiet rooms!

The most amazing hotel experience!

This hotel is incredible! I have been to Cape Town many times, but this is by far the best hotel I have been to.The staff, the breakfast, drinks and dinner, the view, the room, the location - everything! Cannot wait to go back one day with more friends and family. Thank you for the most amazing hotel experience ever.

Beautiful view of Table Mountain

For a week-long stay in Cape Town, we reserved a large room facing Table Mountain and Lion's Head, and the view was spectacular. As we always do, we put in a special request for a high floor, and unlike most hotels that either don't receive special requests or disregard them, 15 on Orange gave us the highest floor for the room we reserved. The room was quiet, spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful - housekeepers, desk clerks, breakfast buffet staff, bartender, concierges, porters. The housekeepers even replaced the king-sized mattress with two twins for us. Breakfast was excellent, including individually prepared omelets and lots of high quality hot and cold options. The pool area was nice. The hotel is well located, within walking distance of the Castle. Bo-Kaap, and the city center, and a short cab ride to the waterfront, the Table Mountain cable car, and other attractions. The concierge booked very nice and inexpensive excursions for us to the wine country and the Cape Peninsula. There were two small drawbacks. First, there were some relatively minor lapses in service - some days we didn't get toiletries replaced, for instance, and some days we didn't get bottled water as promised. Second, the room had some odd quirks - there were two TVs, but only one remote that operated both, and there were no bedside outlets or charging stations. And guests should be warned of daily power outages during summer season.

We stayed for five days and would definitely t recommend. Breakfast was excellent, more choice than was needed of both hot and cold items! Friendly and attentive staff. Allowed us a late check out until 12.30 which was appreciated.

One of the best stays I have ever had in a hotel. Excellent property and staff. The attention to detail is something I have never experienced before. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The caretaking team did an impeccable job. The staff in the main floor (desk, concierge, restaurant, bar, front door etc.) were very professional but also engaging and friendly. The food (breakfast and dinner) and restaurant service was superb.

The rooms are large with well sized and well appointed bathrooms. The common areas are comfortable and stylish. From a very warm welcome to very good bar service, the service is exceptional. The only thing that needs some attention is the quality of breakfast. It is adequate and has lots of options but is not particularly memorable.

This is our favorite hotel in Cape Town, not only for the location and fab chic comfort, but for the staff as well. The staff are excellent and welcome us back with warmth—many are still there after +4 years (the period over which we have stayed). We love the large rooms. Although major renovations were underway, we were put into a room that had little sound interference. The noise in the reception, dining and other public areas was pretty horrendous. The staff were so concerned about its effect on guests and were informative about plans. We understood that change happens—though not all guests felt that way.

No hot water in the shower. We explained the problem to the staff who said they would check, and then told us there was no problem. We heard another couple having the same experience during their check out, and a staff member explained to them that is due to the water flow limiters they have installed on their showers.

centraal gelegen hotel in het centrum van de stad

mooi hotel met een uitstekend ontbijt. het hotel ligt op een zeer centraal punt in het centrum bij longstreet en kloofstreet waar alle restaurants en het avondleven zich afspelen. Het ligt bij de uitvalswegen van de stad. Het hotel heeft een parkeergarage en valet service. De concierge is zeer hulpvaardig en is bereid om al tickets en excursies te boeken voordat je bent gearriveerd.
