The location was excellent as just a short walk into York and all the attractions. Parking on site is a real bonus if book in advance. Property secure and has everything you need and lovely and clean. Would definitely book again

The apartment was very comfortable and had a great location, just 10’ walking to the Minster. The only problem I saw is that the internet was a bit spotty. Also the hot water was too hot and didn’t mix with the cold water (apartment 6). How hard is to have a good functioning water system?

Great location. Instructions on check in were confusing and parking was tight and we had to move the garbage cans to park. Bath tub had some mold in the corners

Stay for wedding

Really good stay. Had an issue with the bathroom plug and was able to speak to someone straight away. Very hot in the apartment, especially the bathroom. Another fan or two would have been great. Only issue was in the parking area, very tight to get out the space when all spaces were being used. Walkable to everywhere if interest. Would recommend and stay again.

Ok - but Nothing special

Not too Bad It is fairly decent value for money, although the property has quite a lot of wear and tear and could do with a refresh. However, it represents fairly decent value for money for a basic apartment (although the basics were done okay—good hot water, relatively clean apartment (less clean in common areas) with secure parking and within a very short walk of the main attractions of York while still being on a fairly quiet street).

Parking very tight, but secure. Living area not big enough for us 4 but with a teenager in tow it worked ok as she spent her time in the bedroom. Only enough hot water for one shower, but it was the heatwave so cold showers were welcome. So all in all not too bad and we had a lovely time in general. Going back to York again very soon.

Victoria Cloisters is nice

The flat was clean, nicely decorated, the kitchen had the same worktop and cupboards as our one at home! It was nice and quiet, within easy walking distance of both the train station and the city centre. The one slight drawback was that the fridge door was missing the compartment to put a bottle of milk in. We let the hotel know and they apologised and promised not to charge it to the deposit. Apart from that, everything was excellent.

The refrigerator had a disgusting smell and the sofa bed was very dirty! There was no hot water for taking a shower the next day! We had a horrible two days stay here!

Great location!

This was my third stay here! Great location and lots closeby. Easy to get into the town centre, just a short walk over the bridge. Sainsburys and Tesco next road over for anything you might need (milk, snacks etc). Staff really friendly and replied quickly to any queries we had (many thanks!). Lovely Italian just along the road called 'Enoteca' highly recommend! Also a wonderful Thai restaurant called 'Tah Tien' a stone's throw away. The famous Betty's tea room just a short walk away. Plenty of shopping in the main town and there is a fantastic outlet mall 15mins away which is reachable by bus. Station only a short walk away. Beds are comfy. A few suggestions for improvements having stayed a few times now: A full length mirror would be useful. TV is mounted very high on the wall which makes it quite uncomfortable to watch. More lighting needed expecially in the bedroom, difficult to see what you're doing if applying make-up! Thanks again for yet another lovely stay! :)

Mycket bra lägenhet med gångavstånd till det mesta

Vi var tre personer som bodde här i två nätter. Lägenheten var i gott skick. Det var nära till allt. Lugnt område. Smidigt att kunna laga mat i lägenheten om man inte vill äta ute och ordna med frukost som passar alla. Dock mycket sliten soffa och fåtölj. Fanns ingen stoppning kvar. Men de tre sängar som fanns var bra.10 minuters promenad från tågstationen. Skulle gärna boka här igen om jag återvänder till York.

Property was excellent all around. Very convenient to the train station and just right over the bridge into the town. The street was quiet and safe, and the apartment was nice and spacious. Check in staff were super helpful and the apartment was very clean and tidy. Would absolutely stay here again or recommend it to anyone travelling to York

Wonderful place to stay!

Excellent location, great set up. As it was unusually hot, it would have been nice to have a/c. Be sure to stock up on toilet paper when you check in as check in for apartment is in a different hotel down the street and around the corner.

Two nights stay for family holidays in York

Conveniently located in city centre within walking distance to shopping and tourist attractions. Good for family stay. Only downside is the limited parking lots onsite. The hotel does provide discount voucher for parking at a nearby NCP car park though.

Central, comfortable, quiet apartment stay

Really friendly and early check in - easy to park safely in a gated car park (but prebook it as it's not obvious on the website) Really close to city centre and an easy walk to everything. Well equipped 'flat' with washing machine and full kitchen facilities. Really good and decent price. We'll be back for a longer stay.

The location of this property is excellent for getting around York. Everything is walking distance. Having car parking is great too. It is advertised as having Wi-Fi but the speeds are below 1Mbps which makes it unusable. We were told it is being upgraded in 2 weeks but in it's current state it is pointless.
