This was a perfect weeekend getaway for my daughters and I. We were able to walk to a mall and grocery store. Beach was in walking distance as well.

The whole area surrounding the Leeward apartments was beautiful. We did tons of walks. around the neighbourhoods and enjoyed the shopping nearby. The outdoor space was super cute for working during the day and having a nice beverage at night.

The sink kept leaking, police did a search warrant with the unit next to us, and the people above us were pretty loud. Other than that though, it was pretty good.

We used the property as a base to explore South Florida. On arrival, took a bit of effort to get the code to the door and check in details, but after phone conversation happened, all went well. Property is functional, everything works or if not it seems to get fixed quickly. You are getting what you paid for, but this exactly what we wanted. To address previous reviews, the app for the washing machine is fine, no issues with UK details. Area is safe and quiet. Grounds well maintained. Very clean on arrival, some areas could do with some maintenance and a refresh, and yes, the bed can be squeaky but everything operated. Wi-Fi was super fast.

Nice apartment in quiet neighborhood

Nice apartment located in a fairly quiet residential area. Pretty decor, comfortable beds. Nice kitchen. Bathroom could use update in shower…faucet hard to control hot water flow. Nice courtyard. Laundry facility requires app and minimum $10 on credit card for app. Smoking permitted in courtyard, so be advised that you will probably have guests smoking when you use the courtyard. Cons: no dish towels or washcloths in the kitchen so if you plan to cook or wash dishes you need to bring your own towels. We were there for one night so used paper towels. Very limited on bath towels too. We had to share bath towels.

Take out your trash.

The combo lock won't lock or unlock unless you push on the door (I learned after 5 minutes of trial and error) and by the end of my stay it stopped working. The rooms smelled of smoke, and the air return vents must be shared with the other units because every time they lit up a joint I was pretty much getting stoned on their supply. I had to wash everything that entered that unit when I returned home because the smoke was overpowering. Lastly, why do I have to pay an $85 property fee? I assume this is a "cleaning fee" or something similar, yet you want ME to do the dishes and take the trash out at the end of my stay. Give me a break.

This is a very serviceable property, but not luxurious. Everything was clean; the beds were comfortable; the water was hot; the kitchen seemed well-stocked (we only used the fridge and coffee maker, but there were cooking utensils etc.). The furniture was plastic or vinyl and the living room area therefore was not very comfortable - but we didn't come to lounge around in the apartment. There were things like old towel brackets that were painted over in the bathroom, stains on the back of the bathroom door and wall - just seemed like it had recently been covered with a fresh coat of paint in an expedient way. The first day we were there, there was an unhappy seeming person who was evidently moving out of the small complex based on the mountain of stuff she had piled up in front of the gate when we left in the morning, but it was all gone by the time we got back in the evening. The neighborhood is nice and the building was quiet and the location is quite good. So again, the price was right and the apartment served our purpose very well.

Every time you ask house keeping a question they tell you I don’t speak English and if you find one that does they won’t help you There was 3 people in our room and 2 bath towels one hand towel one wash cloth to use for 8 days and they won’t give you any more I had to go to target and buy baths towel towels and wash cloths and toilet paper Dish towels and baking pans The people upstairs from us were loud and partied until 1 2 in the morning There also was giant cockroach’s in our room so I had to go buy bug spray I will never stay here again The hot water you have to let run for 10 minutes to get warm and it’s yellow looking and you can’t get your money back because it’s non refundable 😡 The parking is not great

The property manager was very quick in response. We mentioned about cigarette scent and we received pluggable air fresheners which was ok but it didn’t solve whoever was either smoking next door or below our unit. It was like a chimney at night. We opened the windows which helped but at night when that person comes home or decides to chain smoke, it was very unpleasant to stay in the unit. The living room, kitchen and bedroom were decent. The bathroom needs an upgrade! You can see they tried it with bathtub but it just needs to be replaced or turned into a shower. The toilet seat is not the right size. Overall, the area was a safe area. We would stay again if they fix the “chimney” problem and renovate the bathroom.

YOU WILL REGRET IT

I WAS THINKING I WILL TRY AN APARTMENT BUT TOTALLY DISAPOINTED. STAYED THERE ALMOST A WEEK. THE FURNITURE WAS LAUGHABLE. SELF MADE COFFEE TABLE. WHEN I CALLED FOR MORE TOILET PAPER, I FOUND OUT I GOT TO USE MY HAND TO CLEAN BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT SUPPLY . THE MOST UNFORGETABLE MOMENT OF MY LIFE. NO HOT WATER HERE! THE SHOWER WATER IS JUST WARM. A COLD SHOWER. YOU CAN HEAR THE UPPER LEVEL PEOPLE WALKING ALL NIGHT. I WILL NEVER CHOOSE ANOTHER APARTMENT PRETEND TO BE A HOTEL AGAIN. IT IS LAUGHABLE. I FELT SO STUPID. THE PERSON IN CHARGE NEED TO HAVE ITS BRAIN EXAMINED. THE DOOR LOCK DONT WORK WELL EITHER. COMPETELY WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY. MOSQUITOS WAS ALSO PART OF THE DEAL.

A few hiccups but overall got the job done

The apartment was in a pretty location with a nice court yard. The kitchen was stocked with pans and utensils and what we needed. The only issues was timely communication for entry passcode that we didn't receive until after messaging the property midday of the day we were to check in and there was no wifi password we could find posted in the property. We arrived at 10pm and couldn't get connected to wifi. We messaged and got a response the next morning but we were checking out by then. Also, the shower knob was broken so you couldn't adjust the temperature. We all took cold showers. If they fix the shower knob, post the wifi password on the wall and send you the passcode for entry then you won't have any issues. The place was clean and the couch folded out for the kids. We just stayed overnight one night before a cruise. Uber had no issue locating the property and we ordered an instacart order from Publix with no issue.

Recomendable y buen precio

Muy amplio y cómodo. La ubicación es en un barrio residencial tranquilo, aprox a 5 minutos de la playa de Fort Lauderdale en auto, y a 30 minutos de otras atracciones en Miami. Me hubiera gustado que tuviera más implementos para cocinar, y el colchón de la cama principal era muy flojo para mi gusto, pero eso es algo personal. Todo impecable. Y siempre respondieron enseguida a mis preguntas ( pero por mail)
