Family friendly home perfect for a quite retreat or rural escape, with special attractions nearby; walk in the national park- beautiful lakes, caves and waterfalls; hiking, kayaking, rafting, cycling through the countryside or simply enjoy a Barbecue or picnic, or relax in the hammock and sun-lounger in the large summer garden.

The entire property is for sole use of the guests.
A spacious self catering accommodation set at the edge of the pine forest, rustic decor, spacious, airy, warm, all wooden interior & exterior, fireplace, electric heating, a big garden with BBQ, Hammock, slide & swings to entertain our young guests, great mountain view from the living room and balcony. It has Air-conditioners for the summer heat and heating for the winter nights. Blackout curtains on the windows for a peaceful night sleep, Free WiFi, Free secured private parking, Indoor Fire place , kid’s bike, Toys, Books, Deck of Cards, Dart and Badminton. Additional services included in the Price: Towels, Bed sheets, Cloth iron & Ironing Board, Hair Dryer, Shampoo, WiFi, Cable TV, Heating and Firewood.

Located in the UNESCO’s protected world heritage "Plitvice Lakes National Park", our holiday home is a bungalow house of 80m2 with an outdoor BBQ area in the garden. With two bedrooms, and a living area with a fire place, Flat screen smart TV (Pay channels at surcharge), breakfast bar, dining table and modern equipped kitchen (big Fridge with refrigerator unit, oven, coffee machine, cooking and dinning utensils). The Bathroom is equipped with a washing machine, a hydro massage shower tower panel, WC, Mirror/cabinet.

Our property is located in the central region of Croatia giving our guests ample day trip possibilities to explore the Plitvice National Park, coastal and inland part of the Croatia. More fun activities to do include Kayak, Rafting, Fishing, Canoeing, Kayaking, Horse Riding, Fishing.

Peaceful haven near Plitvice lakes

The perfect place to rest and unwind, not only to see the lakes (although they're stunning) but also to lounge in the hammocks, ride bikes and enjoy the woodland. In August the temperature was perfect. Warm in the day, cooler at night. Totally comfortable. The hosts are very friendly. Tjamks for a fabulous stay!

Peaceful spot in the woods close to the waterfalls

We loved our stay at this cabin in the woods. Every day after our adventures we would lay in the hammocks or play darts or just relax and listen to the birds. It was the perfect distance away from Plitvice Waterfalls and we were able to explore nearby attractions easily by car. We enjoyed the Nikola Tesla Museum, the water mills in Sinac, and just loved hiking around and exploring. The grocery stores and restaurants are close by too. Our hosts were so helpful - thank you for providing everything we needed in the home. We had a lovely stay and definitely recommend it.

Schöner Aufenthalt in der Nähe der Plitvicer Seen

Das Haus ist gut gelegen und vor allem ist der Garten auch im Sommer angenehm schattig. Das Ferienhaus selbst hat eine tolle Veranda auf der wir gerne zum Essen gesessen haben. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit .Es gibt in der Nähe gute Restaurants und auch einen gutsortierten Supermarkt.

Charming cabin in woods

We spent 4 nights in this delightful place. Brilliantly located for lakes and close to shops with everything we needed. Really peaceful location with terrific garden. We went Kayaking on the Gacka river - a must for nature lovers. The mill at Majerovo is beautiful with a great pizza restaurant nearby. Akuoma, our host, was super helpful with local tips. We were lucky enough to have some of the neighbour's honey.

Lovely and well appointed property in an excellent location

Really positive experience a few maintenance issues, but the property manager was motivated to get them addressed right away nothing they got in the way of our enjoyment of our holiday

So peaceful

Thank you for a lovely mini break. We found the place clean, spacious and the beds very comfortable. Outdoor entertainment was great and kept us busy. The proximity to the woods meant the evenings were cool and pleasant even in the height of summer. To our surprise there were no mosquitoes there at all which is a big bonus. Journeys to both the lakes (15 min drive) and the shops (5 min) were straightforward and easy. Hosts were lovely and provided us with everything we needed. We loved having woods at our doorstep. Would highly recommend staying at the cottage as a base for those visiting Plitvice.

Gracious hosts

They were very gracious hosts! They helped us out when we were in a bind. We were very grateful. The cabin is very nice. The shower had plenty of hot water, the best shower we’ve had on our trip! It’s a great place to stay with a fun yard to play in. We loved it!

Schönes Haus an den Plitvicer Seen.

Das ruhig gelegene Haus an den Plitvicer Seen ist die ideale Unterkunft für entspannte Tage in Kroatien. Ein ordentlich ausgestattetes Haus mit schönem Garten. Wir waren dort für sieben Nächte. Der Kontakt bei Fragen per Email, und ebenso vor Ort war hervorragend. Wir bekamen gute Tipps für Aktivitäten in unserem Urlaub. Gerne wieder.

Prachtig blokhut met een grote tuin. Veel privacy!

op 15 km van de Plitvice lakes! Ruime blokhut voor 4 personen heeft veel sfeer. eventueel kan nog iemand op de bank in de woonkamer slapen. Heerlijke tuin waar je kunt BBQ-en, spelen met de kinderen of chillen in een hangmat. er zijn ook fietsen te gebruiken.

Great location, good facilities, however house was very damp and could have been cleaner

Our stay was enjoyable. The grounds were very nice and the dart board and outdoor table provided a good area for eating outside. The owner was very accommodating with us arriving late and communication was very good. Downsides were that the house was damp, including the bedding. The furniture could do with updating, especially the sofabed and outside table. The bathroom didn't smell overly clean, and the floor was constantly wet due to the dampness and therefore very slippery. Also some more clean and newer towels would be recommended. They were a bit old and werent easy to dry due to the dampness.

lovely cottage

the cottage is in idyllic place and is reasonably well maintained. Akuoma who manages is very helpful. If you want to relax among the woods this is the place to go.
