Super relaxed place we loved it

We rented the stallion apartment and it was perfect. The view, the relaxed atmosphere of the place and the pool; we never enjoyed a pool that much, it’s big, soft salted water and a view on the surrounding mountains on top, just perfect. It’s a shared pool and we met lovely families with other kids. We spend a perfect week in la Polletta and are already thinking of going again .

Just awesome

We had a very great time! The small house is just perfect for a couple, the terrace a beautful private space and the pool is a proper swimming pool. The surroundings are peacefull and beautifull. You can see: we enjoyed every moment. Also the communication with Stefano and Vittoria were exceptional, they even tried to help us printing concert tickets :)

A lovely escape to the countryside

I loved my time at The Barn at La Poletta! My one piece of advice is: if you are traveling without a car, budget a good deal of money for taxis to come in from Viareggio or another nearby city to pick you up and take you where you want to go. But this property is lovely! A real treat. Grazie!

A view to remember

Our stay was UNBELIEVABLE! We chose “The Barn” for our visit. It was small but, packed with all of the charm of an quaint Italian farmhouse.The views from the saltwater pool made us speechless… we never tired of taking in all the beauty around us.The kitchen had all we needed to make our simple meals.The housekeeper was very conscientious to our needs. She spoke very little English but, the phone translator made it easy.If, you are looking for a quiet, somewhat remote area , with views that will blow your mind… this is perfect for you.We would definitely return and possibly try a different cottage on the property.Stefano has 4 different homes to choose from.He has kept the charm and original splendor to his property and we greatly appreciated our stay.

Property wasn’t what we expected

First the owners and care taker Victoria are wonderful people. The home was much more “rustic” than we expected. AC can only be run at night and works intermittently. The shower and toilets are a combination sort of deal. So you shower on a wooden crate they provide while the shower curtain separates you from the toilet. This setup drenched the bathroom every time we showered and felt generally unclean and awkward. The sheets provided smelled musty and didn’t feel clean. We made the most of our two weeks there, but wanted to write an honest review so others can decide in an informed manner if this property works for them.

Nous y avons passé de très belles vacances. L'accueil des hôtes était chaleureux. Le gîte était charmant et idéale pour 2 personnes plus un chien (8,5 kg). Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la grande terrasse et la vue sur les montagnes.

Rust in de bergen van Toscane

Goede gastvrouw, eigenaar vlot bereikbaar Rust, genieten, ontspanning Steden Pisa en Lucca in de buurt Enkel de muggen waren heel vervelend😉

Schön und rustikal

Es war alles in allem ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Die Scheune ist schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, eine Aktualisierung wäre gut: Putz und Farbe sind nicht mehr überall intakt, die Armaturen in Bad und Küche lassen sich nicht mehr gut dosieren, die Perlatoren fehlen. Alles funktioniert aber einwandfrei! Und: es ist eben eine Scheune und kein Schloss, und deshalb ohne Fenster, nur mit Lüftungsschlitzen und zwei Türen. Die Terrasse ist ein Traum, ebenso wie die gesamte Außenanlage (der Rasen hätte etwas früher gemäht werden können). Der Pool ist sehr gepflegt. Service und Betreuung waren Perfekt, Stafano hatte immer ein offenes Ohr und war sehr nett (er hat uns ein Upgrade angeboten), Vittoria kümmert sich vorbildlich um die Anlage. Bis auf die genannten Kleinigkeiten eine sehr schöne Anlage. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Prachtige plek

Leuk appartement op een prachtige plek. Alles was aanwezig in het appartement . Helaas konden we door het slechte weer weinig gebruik maken van het terras. Fijn was dat ook onze hond van harte welkom was. De weg naar boven was vooral op het laatste stuk wel een uitdaging.

Tolle Vermieter

Erholsam

Das Ferienhaus entsprach der Anzeige. Alles war sehr sauber und der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr gut. Mögliche Probleme kann man vor Ort mit der Hausmeisterin klären, war in unserem Fall gar nicht nötig. Wir hatten einen sehr entspannten Urlaub. Für Urlauber mit Hund sehr geeignet. Leider ist der Weg zum Strand recht weit.

Sehr schöner Ferienort

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft war sauber, hüpsch hergerichtet und die Übergabe/ Ankunft hat problemlos geklappt. Das Anwesen ist sehr schön und gepflegt- definitiv ein Ort zum verweilen. Auch die Umgebung bietet viele tolle Möglichkeiten. Das Stedtchen ist zu Fuss in max. 20 Minuten gut erreichbar. Sind mehrere Feriengäste anwesend, kann es etwas lauter sein da die Unterkünfte nah beieinander liegen. Sonst alles tip top. Wir würden wieder kommen!

Urlaub in der Natur

Obwohl wir spät Abends angereist sind, wurden wir herzlich empfangen. Diese Unterkunft ist perfekt geeignet als Ausgangspunkt für Rennradtouren und Wanderungen. Auch nach Camaiore Ort ist es nicht weit, so dass wir das Auto oft stehen lassen konnten. An den Abenden konnten wir uns direkt auf dem Grundstück über Glühwürmchen freuen. Und die Terrasse war perfekt für gemütliche Lesestunden. Wir haben nichts vermisst und Stefano war für uns jederzeit kurzfristig erreichbar. Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Urlaub

Schöne Urlaubswoche in der Toskana

Sehr schöne Anlage, Vermieter und Hausmeisterin sehr nett, toll gelegen mit Ausflugsmöglichkeiten ans Meer, nach Lucca und in die Berge. Anfahrt auf den letzten 500m italienisch-schmal, aber gut machbar. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Ottimo e rilassante

Ci siamo trovati bene, la piscina è un ottimo compromesso per quando non si vuole prendere l’auto per scendere al mare. Il posto è immerso nella quiete e silenzioso. L’appartamento curato e confortevole.
