Welcome to your perfect Galveston getaway! This spacious canal-front home offers over 2,800 sq. ft. of comfort and fun for the whole family. Step into the newly remodeled kitchen with plenty of storage, two sinks, and stunning views of the water—ideal for cooking and gathering together.

The oversized first-floor master suite is a true retreat with a sitting area and large bath, while upstairs you’ll find a second suite currently set up as a game room/bedroom plus two additional large bedrooms. With room for everyone, this home makes group stays easy and comfortable.

Relax on the back porch while taking in peaceful canal views that stretch straight to the bay, or cast a line off the private dock. At night, the overhead green light brings the fish right in—perfect for anglers in the family!

Entertainment is covered with Wi-Fi, Xfinity service, and TVs in the living room, master, and game room. Outdoors, enjoy endless activities with yard games, two tandem kayaks, two paddleboards, a volleyball net, and beach toys for the kids—all included with your stay.

Great family vacation. Fishing off the dock and very short drive to beach access across the Main Street. Plenty of room for kids to spread out.

My family of five (children ages 15, 13 and 10) had a wonderful time. We had plenty of space to spread out and sleep well, which was appreciated after a busy spring of school and sports. Everyone remarked on the comfortable beds. The kids fished for hours off the back dock. It was nice they could just go out and fish without having to drive them to a dock or arrange a boat. We rented a golf cart and ate at the marina most meals, which was a convenience as I didn’t want to cook on vacation. The long weekend was just what we needed to kick off summer. Would stay here again!

Great house and location. Beautiful views! Plenty of room to spread out. Loved all the extras: ping pong table, chess game, kayaks, Stand up paddle boards. Would stay here again!

Great spot for all ages

Still taking advantage of my boys coming home for spring break- this home has a great dock, but also close to very clean beaches that are much quieter/crowded than up the island. It was a perfect stay.

Fantastic Galveston area Getaway with Family!

We never felt cramped in this beautiful and spacious home for over a week with a large family. Nearby beach access, dock and pier fishing, close to shops and restaurants. A great time in a fantastic location,- we highly recommend booking for your next getaway!

Five stars very relaxing

We stayed here five days four nights. The house was so amazing and relaxing. Everything was so clean the beds are extremely comfortable. The view was amazing. The host was very friendly.. I would definitely book this again. I highly recommend staying at this location.

We had a wonderful time at David’s house. The bayou is THE place to be. David was so easy to get in touch with when needed and extremely helpful! We will definitely go back!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Our third Thanksgiving in this great house. Kitchen works well for multiple cooks. House location is wonderful and was perfectly equipped for our two families. Lots to do to keep teenage boys occupied! Thanks for sharing your home!

Beautiful canal home

My family and I stayed from June 12th-17th and we all had a blast. The house was gorgeous, inside and out. We enjoyed fishing off the dock, swimming in the canal. Headed to the beach a few times and ate at our favorite place, West End Marina. The house accommodated our family very well and was spacious and clean. Thank you David for sharing your home with us.

Weekend Getaway

This was a great property for a family getaway. We loved being right there on the water. We used the paddle boards & kayaks in the canal. My husband enjoyed fishing from the dock. We rented a golf cart for easy access to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and large for family dinners. The bedding was comfortable. The owners were very attentive and available to us.

We both love the bay and this neighborhood which we have watched for years. Having close access to the the beach and staying on the bay is what we have always wanted. We wanted a place that was easy to travel to on the weekends after the kids games on Saturday and still make it home for dinner on Sundays. We love to fish and having it available on the back porch made it all worth the while. Having a house large enough to host family gathering was important to us.

On the water, large living areas so you don't feel cramped and great kitchen for cooking and hanging out. We are very close to the beach, so this place gives you the best of both worlds. In Feb. 2020 we are renovating the entire kitchen. We are putting our heart-in-sol into the house, not only for our family but for our guest.
