Great place to get away from it alll while still being near small towns with big charm. We saw the actual “come and get it cannon” in Gonzales and ate amazing BBQ in Lockhart. Great communication. Kids enjoyed the pool. Can’t wait to come back.

Visited for our large family trip. Kids loved swimming in the pool! Everyone enjoyed fishing, exploring the property, playing pool and foosball and making s’mores at the fire pit. Great place with plenty of room for our whole crew. Definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway!

The place is incredible. Our family had an unbelievable stay with fishing, watching deer, antelope, cows, and all the animals. The lodge is awesome and the support on site was top notch

We love staying here. So fun taking out the ATVs and spotting new animals each time we were out. I also appreciated with young grandchildren that the area to the pool has another gate so there wasn't easy access to the pool for them. They loved telling the cows good night as they walked right past the barndo each afternoon.

My 3 brothers and I really enjoyed our stay to catch up and relax. I'm glad we rented the mule to ride around the property. We also enjoyed the fishing.

Amazing Place!!!

This was an absolutely amazing place for my family. My grandkids enjoyed riding around to see all the animals and to go fishing. It is a very relaxing place and we hope to come back.

Beautiful Property

Our family had a great time during our stay. The house was clean, and the owners were pleasant and helpful. Our kids loved fishing at the bass pond and watching the wildlife as we explored the property. I would highly recommend renting the mule. We would definitely stay here again.

Great family time

Perfect getaway to spend together time. Loved watching animals come up to the gate in the evenings and rides in the ATV. Plenty of space for all of us.

Quiet country get away

Definitely off the beaten path! House had everything we needed and plenty of space. We made full use of the pool and enjoyed the pool table and fuseball. Great place!

Great get away - beautiful animals

My buddies and I stayed here for a long weekend. Easily accommodated 7 grown men. Not a ton going on in the area which is exactly what we were looking for!

Overall, the facility was great!! Very accommodating and, clean; well stocked with bathroom toiletries and with kitchen supplies. Our only concerns were (1) one of the bathroom doors does not close properly, and (2) the fitted sheet was too small on one of the beds.

Beautiful property and amazing people. They were super nice and helpful. We rented the side by side and they provided us with feed to use out on the property. We got to see a bunch of really cool animals and had a ton of fun fishing too. We will definitely be going back!

This place was the EXCELLENT for our Christmas family celebration. We made precious memories. There is a lot of wildlife, which our grandchildren loved. We are city people, who get excited about baby cows running and jumping. We purchased the off-road vehicle (Mule), which is an absolute MUST if you want to see the property, although most SUVs can get through most of the property. This is a hunters lodge, which means it lacks some of the polish for city slickers. For us, we loved it! The only reason I didn't give it a perfect rating is that the property and the mule need some gentle maintenance.
