Beautiful, clean 3 bedroom 4 min walk to the beach, splashpad & playground.

Very clean & well appointed.
Features your own porch view of the lake. Air conditioned & gas fireplace. Dining room seats 6 people. Washer and dryer.
1st bedroom = queen bed.
2nd bedroom = double bed.
3rd bedroom = double on bottom & twin bunk on top.
The charge per night includes 2 adults and up to 3 children under Additional adults $20 per person per night. Gas BBQ, and a fire pit. A very short walk for you & the kids to reach the playground, splash pad, beach and public restrooms (you can use our Little Tykes wagon).
This is a smaller beach.
Just adults? Head to "The Wreck" over looks the pier and the lake. Tour one or more of the numerous wineries within minutes of the cottage.
i.e. Paglione with their outdoor wood oven pizza's and gelato, Viewpointe, for an outstanding view of the lake. If you end up with a rainy day, take a 15 - 20 minute drive to Amhurstberg for some historic tours, or maybe check out scenic Kingsville for a little shopping and a selection of great restaurants. After enjoying the firepit you may want to relax on the front porch and listen to the lap of the waves. Pack light, we've thought of everything!

Exactly what we were looking for! Cosy, quiet and close to the lake. We truly enjoyed our mini honeymoon weekend. Denise was a very communicative host and has a well stocked cottage. We would definitely go back!

Just as a lot of the other reviews mentioned, the resort was very clean and homey. The kitchen had every item you could possibly need. This place is very centrally located in the wine tour area, so that made it even more attractive. Other items of excellence: WIFI, TV streaming, quiet neighborhood, and closeness to the park and lake.We will definitely be renting here again.

We just spent the weekend in Colchester, and our stay at Denise's house was perfect! Very clean and comfortable space, and so close to the beach! We would love to come back for sure! If you are coming to do some bird watching, explore the wineries near by, or enjoy the beach, this is the place for sure! Highly recommended. Thank you, Denise!

Excellent exprience. Everything you could ask for was supplied. Location was great. easy access to all sorts of day trips and the beach/splash pad/playground was right there. I only question the 150 fee for extra person charge as there were only 4 of us there (2 adults 2 children)

Such a wonderful visit! The cottage was neat and clean, even better in person than the photos. Early check in was a nice surprise, it allowed us to enjoy the beach for an extra day! Our 4 year old loved riding her bike over to the playground and we loved how close it was! We were told to pack light as the cottage has everything we need and it was true. We hope to return again next year!

We had an awesome stay. Denise was quick to respond to my questions. The house was very clean and very homey. We loved it so much that we booked an extra day. The view from the front porch was so pretty. We made use of the firepit. The 4 minute walk to the beach and playground was great. The kids loved the splashpad. The food and staff at The Wreck restaurant was wonderful. Same for the ice-cream right there also. It is unanimous that we would definitely vacation there again.

The property is as posted, great proximity to the Colchester beach and park/splash pad.. all a very short walk. Restaurants walking distance and very good food. The cottage is tastefully decorated and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Just need to bring food and your suitcase. Beach towels chairs bbq and outside dining all supplied. Even a fire pit for roasting marshmallows. We had a great 5 days in July 2026.

Amazing adorable spot to relax. Cottage has all the essentials you might need. Clean, comfortable, nicely finished inside and out. Clean, good sized beach nearby with a park and splash pad. County clearly keeps things clean and well maintained. Joe's cafe is a great spot too. Finished with a fire in the pit out back, gorgeous yard to play with kids. Hosts are easy to get a hold of and very hospitable. We will likely be back at some point!

This cottage is in an excellent location & close to so many towns and wineries. The beach is quite close. I was so relaxed after spending the week there and will be back next year.

Nice cottage on a quiet street, a short walk from the beach, marina, and restaurant

As always the cottage was perfect. This is my fifth time renting from Denise and this time we brought friends who also loved the cottage. We ate at a local winery and went to Point Pelee national park. Lovely memories and great place to relax.

Wonderful spot!

My family and I had a great stay at this awesome property. It’s so clean, very comfortable and so close to the lake side parks. This property has absolutely everything you could want to enjoy a stay in summer or in fall as we just did.
