We are very happy that you had such a wonderful time in our seaside apartment on the beautiful Athenian Riviera, absolutely loved our area... and enjoyed visiting "amazing Athens" as well ! As we have written many times before, answering to guest reviews, we are not a professional tourist company, just private persons renting out their apartment on VRBO. Our motto is : "Guests may come as strangers, but we hope they leave us as friends". It seems we have once again, to our great satisfaction, succeeded in achieving our goal. As agreed, you will be back in the near future and we'll do our very best to see to it that you will have an equally wonderful stay with us then. For now we send you our friendly greetings; until we meet again ! Your friends in lovely Lagonisi, Con & Karin

Hi Andrea, Donna and Carol Ann, Three “daring” Canadian ladies on a “girls only holiday” to Greece, withour their husbands and children… we had no choice, but to do our very best to see to it that you would have an a wonderful, worry free and unforgettable holiday with us ! It seems that once again we have achieved in reaching our motto: “guests may come to us as strangers, but we hope they leave as friends”. With such nice, friendly and appreciative guests as yourselves, hosting out our property becomes a true pleasure, which makes “putting in the extra effort”, more than worth our while. Thank you so much for being our guests and as agreed…. you will be back soon; this time with your families ! Your friends in lovely Lagonisi, Con & Karin

Dear Caroline, Thank you for your positive review and we are very happy you had a good rest and very much enjoyed our apartment, sandy beaches and the tours we took you on. Just a short remark as to the bath not having a plug. You only informed us that this was an issue for you, when we dropped you off at no charge at the airport (from where by the way we also picked you up for free at your arrival), so it seems somewhat unfair to bring up this issue afterwards in this comment. Filling up our quite large bathtub everyday just to soak in it, in our view is an extensive wasteful use of water. During this year’s very dry summer season, we were urged by our municipality to not waste, or over consume drinking water and we followed this request. As to our location, its is clearly described in our listing text on VRBO; on top of this, before confirming your booking, we again informed you of our exact location. Finally, as we showed you, there is a busstop at 600m from our apartment; the bus passes every 25 minutes and the ticket is only 1.20 euro to Athens. We also showed you that one can download an english App for the exact departure times from our busstop. We understand that for you and your sister, two ladies in their early seventies, taking public transport might be challenging, but this certainly has not been the case for all our other guests over the years. Best regards, Con & Karin

Dear Kelly and Paul, Thank you for your wonderful review. As many times in the past, we once again feel very lucky to have hosted such wonderful and kind guests as yourselves from the USA. We are very happy that you had such a great time in our apartment, loved our beautiful area (Lagonisi on the Athenian Riviera), our apartment, the pool and our sandy beaches. As you correctly point out a stay with us, seaside on the Athenian Riviera at however just one hour from the Acropolis, indeed is the perfect combination of a relaxed beach vacation in an authentic Greek holiday area, not yet run over by "hordes" of foreign tourists and a prolonged "City Trip" to Athens. We really enjoyed taking you on our private "custom made" private guided “Amazing Athens” walking tour (incl. several "hidden gems" ) and on our special trip to Cape Sounion, to visit the majestic Temple of Poseidon; second only to the Acropolis, as well as on our unique East Attica tour. Guests like you make it easy “to go the extra mile” and we were more than happy to do so. As we aways say: “guests may arrive as strangers, but we hope they leave us as friends”. We have the impression that we succeeded once again in achieving this goal !! As agreed; you will be back !! Until then, with warmest greetings, Your friends in Greece, Con & Karin

Dear Andy, Thank you for your wonderful review and kind words as to us as hosts. As you correctly state, a holiday in Lagonisi on the beautiful Athenian Riviera combines “The best of two worlds”; on the one hand it offers a great beach holiday and on the other hand Athens (and the Acropolis) are at just one hour from our place. Communication was excellent from the beginning to your departure, as we speak German. It was a true joy hosting and getting to know you and we once again feel very lucky to welcome such nice guests as yourself and your wonderful family from beautiful Bavaria in Germany. We are delighted that you had such a great time in our apartment, loved our beautiful area and our sandy beaches and of course our private swimming pool and sunny garden. We also really enjoyed taking you all on our private "custom made" guided walking tour of “Amazing Athens”. Guests like you make it worth our while “to go the extra mile”. As we aways say: “guests may arrive as strangers, but we hope they leave us as friends”. I have the impression that we succeeded once again in achieving this goal. Finally we thank your daughter Maria, for the wonderful lovely drawing she gave us of your stay with us. Your friends in Greece, Con & Karin

Dear Dominic, Jayne, Elliot and Luke, Thank you so much for your wonderful review ! It was a true pleasure and joy to host you all in our seaside apartment on the Athenian Riviera and we are very happy that you spent such a great time with us. As you correctly state, our place is the perfect mix of a Athens city sightseeing trip and a relaxing beach holiday and we look forward to welcoming many more nice guests like yourselves from the UK. Arriving rather late, after a long trip with delays and with two young boys, we thought it would be a welcome gesture to have a home made meal waiting for you at your arrival. As to your two boys, I must say that they very positively impressed us. Despite their young age, the relative heat and the possibility of weariness with so much impressions, they never nagged during our private guided walking tour of the historic center of Athens, but all along kept interested in hearing what Con had to say. The same goes for our wonderful trip to the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion and the fact that they knew its connection with the story about the Minotaur labyrinth in Crete, followed by a nice evening dinner at the sailing port of Lavrio (although the boys were dozing off a bit afterwards !). Guests like you make it easy “to go the extra mile” and we were glad to do so. As we aways say “guests may arrive as strangers, but we hope they leave us as friends”. I have the impression that we succeeded once again in achieving this goal !! As agreed; you will be back !! Until then, with warmest greetings, Your friends in Greece, Con & Karin
