What a fabulous place, so comfortable and the views are stunning. Short walk down to the beach which our dog loved. Met a few locals who were lovely and very friendly. The Hendre Hotel around the corner was a nice spot for food and a drink in a wonderful setting. Did a few trips out to Tywyn and Aberdovey, both great. Would definitely want to stay again. Couldn’t fault it.

Great view and centrally placed for other attractions. The property is homely and comfortable. Well stocked with crockery and cutlery. Plenty of storage for clothes and personal items. Hosts are warm and welcoming. Can’t recommend enough

The property was in a lovely quiet area and inky a couple of minutes walk to the station where you can get to Aberdovey one way and fairbourne and Barmouth the other. Very child friendly and the owners have thoughtfully provided children’s games and books and jigsaws. We took our grandchildren away (6 and 21 months) and everything was provided - travel cot/high chair etc.. a nice eating out area too and secure garden. Very dog friendly too. Spotlessly clean. Great hosts who were very helpful. We would definitely return.

Perfect stay

Lovely, clean place. Fantastic value. Perfect spot with views of the bay and mountains. Close to the pub, train station and beach. :)

We had a wonderful stay! The place is beautiful – perfect if you enjoy walks in the mountains or along the beach. There are pubs and shops nearby, and the lovely tourist town of Barmouth is just around the corner. You can also take the charming steam railway and a ferry to Barmouth from Fairbourne, which we highly recommend. The owners are very kind, the flat is clean, cozy, warm and equipped with all the essentials. We truly recommend this place!

Review of stay

There is ample room in this tidy, comfortable, reasonably well equipped flat. The village is very welcoming and pleasant, but the best thing for me was the view. We had a lovely stay exploring the area. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. Would recommend 😀.

Perfect in every way...a hidden gem

What a find! The pictures don't do this little gem justice. Gorgeous, spacious apartment with everything you could possibly need for your stay in this'beautiful little village. Keith and Carole are the perfect hosts...we even got some of Carole's award winning flowers on the first day. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. We'll be back!

Great find in a fabulous location

The accommodation is spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Lovely outside space with fabulous sunsets over the sea. Carole couldn’t have been more helpful. Brilliant location for Llwyngwril station for trains to Mach/ towards London or up the coast to Pwllheli. Access to the beach is also just around the corner. The one thing to bring with you - slippers! The stone floor in the kitchen is pretty hard going on your feet, but by no means a deal breaker for staying. Highly recommended

Fabulous stay...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay... and got to cram in plenty within the few days we had! We even got to ride the train on our day trip to Barmouth... which are dog enjoyed her 1st ever ride on a train. Many dog friendly pubs, cafes and restaurants in the area - which made our trip even more special. Great apartment, great hosts... thank you Carole and Keith!

Heaven

What a beautiful location! The flat was well equipped and very comfortable. The views are fantastic across the sea to the mountains. The only thing I could say was a down side, is the beach you can walk to in minutes is quite rocky which is a shame. When the tides out there's was a bit of sand for my dog to enjoy. There are amazing beaches very nearby, so this wasn't a massive issue. We will return!!!!.

Fantastic little hide away, loved it

Very spacious and very comfortable with a sea view Would highly recommend, Everything you need for self catering Fantastic stay with 4 adults and 2 little dogs Secure garden area and parking, 5 min walk to beach, and train station, Easy to catch a train to visit other beaches and areas The locals are very friendly and welcoming Couldn't have asked for more We all enjoyed ourselves and didn't want to leave

Cosy getaway

Wonderful warm and comfortable place to relax. Had everything we could need and more. Gorgeous surroundings and close to the beach. Absolutely loved it, wished we'd booked a week instead of a long weekend. Hope to go back again.

Holiday home from home

Thanks for letting us stay a real home from home, own parking and garden, all amenities you need. Beds are really comfortable, the rooms were lovely and clean. Lots of hot water really good central heating. Perfect place for 2 nans and 2 granddaughters they had a good time shame about the weather at times. We were left a pumpkin and chocolate by the lady and the tomatoes were a treat. We will most certainly be back again. Views are amazing from the front room. Lovely walks to the beach and village whom made us feel very welcome. Thanks again

Good Value for Money

Comfortable accommodation within yards of the sea in a nice quiet coastal village. While there were only 2 of us with 2 double and a single bedroom easily accommodates 5 people. Nice little area outside with table and chairs and parking for your car in the driveway. Will be returning

Sehr gemütlich und schöne Lage

Sehr gemütlich und individuell eingerichtetes Appartment, in dem es an nichts fehlte. Carroll und Keith sind zuvorkommende und freundliche Gastgeber. Interessant ist an der Lage vor allem die Nähe zum Bahnhof (5 min zu Fuß) , von dem aus sich zahlreiche Aktivitäten starten lassen. Der Strand, allerdings ein Kiesstrand, ist ebenfalls sehr nah und über einen Fussweg zu erreichen.

A fantastic cosy flat

I wasn’t sure what to expect before we arrived but as soon as we arrived we were greeted by Carol one of the owners to show us around. The flat was clean, cosy and lovely and warm. The views were amazing and goats live next door which was lovely to see. The beach was only a few minutes walk and the locals are friendly too. Carol was very welcoming and but also gave us our space too. She even left us a lovely card the evening before we left as she wasn’t going to be in when we leaving. Thank you Carol and Keith for a lovely stay , we’ll defiantly be back.
