Alden Cottage Summary

Summary:
3 nights minimum off season.  Weekly Saturday to Saturday Prime season.
 
Walk to downtown Alden, to the historical Train Depot Park and Museum, venture a bit further on foot and take a hike through the 17 acre Coy Mountain Preserve from this charming 2 bedroom 1 bath cozy cottage.  Visit the stunning shoreline of beautiful Torch Lake and enjoy the breath taking sunsets over Torch Lake. 

This house is just one block away from the unique shops and restaurants of downtown Alden and about 3 blocks from the Marina and access to the entire lower chain of lakes (Bellaire, Clam Elk and Skegemog, and Torch).  Locals and repeat visitors alike know what a great lake Torch is for vacationing, swimming, boating, tubing, and just plain old sightseeing.   This smoke free pet friendly home is very close to many professional and recreational golf courses, Traverse City shopping and the wineries of Old Mission and Leelanau Peninsulas.  Charlevoix, Petoskey, and Harbor Springs are round trip same day great places to explore.

Whether you bring your own boat or rent one at one of the many marinas in the area spending time relaxing or enjoying some water sports is one of the many forms of entertainment in the area.  Spend the day on the lake and then enjoy award winning craft beer at Shorts Brewery in downtown Bellaire or Elk Rapids.   

Whatever you decide to do while here we are sure you will take home lasting memories of the good times and great places and will long to return again year after year.

This cottage has 2 window air conditioners, not central air conditioning. There is limited parking space for 2 cars available.
Sheets for the 2 beds are provided, you need to bring your own bath towels and sheets for the sleeper.
We require renters to be 25 years of age.  NO SMOKING at any time! No fireworks, no parties.
If you are bringing 1 dog, it must be crated if you are not in the home with it.
