The Stables

We as a family had a fabulous stay at the stables. The only fault was the downstairs toilet in the bedroom was very loose. The host was lovely very accommodating

Superb weekend with friends

Myself and 5 friends had an absolutely fantastic weekend spent at The Stables. The location for us was ideal as we wanted a chance to relax in the countryside. The accommodation was perfect for a group of us with a fab social space in the kitchen and relax in the hot tub. This is the second time I’ve booked an accommodation through Stay Cotswolds (and in the same location), I will be booking again.

Fabulous Weekend away

Fantastic location for a weekend away with friends. Property was spacious and well equipped. Location is great for the views and walks.

Stunning property in great location

The stables was a perfect base to explore the beautiful Cotswolds. The property had everything you could want for and the large garden was great for playing with our dog or dining and enjoying the sunny evenings.

A brief getaway for 3 generations on extended family

A stunning characterful property located on a beautiful farm in stunning countryside. Lovely kitchen/dining area and beds were large and extremely comfortable. Located perfectly within the Cotswolds in easy striking distance of many picture perfect villages.

Great cottage for group of friends

The cottage was ideal for a weekend catching up with friends. It was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Love big kitchen social space. Would also be great for families with the garden space and amenities on the site. Only fault would be the hot tub - we tried to get it going but it would have taken too long to heat up, also no outside light by the hot tub made it impractical on the winter evening.

Perfect stay

This accommodation is wonderful for a family. The river at the back and amount of space is wonderful. Beds extremely comfortable and all rooms well equipped. We will stay again when in the Cotswolds. Thanks!

Stunning stay for my husbands 40th!

We had a lovely weekend here at the Stables. The views were stunning and the comfort of the home was outstanding. Everything was provided for! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend staying here!! Thank you for such a pleasant stay.

Fabulous House with Amazing View

Our group of 6 friends returned to this wonderful place having loved it so much last year. The facilities are fantastic en-suites in every bedroom, decor excellent throughout plenty of space with an outdoor dining area with a superb view and a hot tub. It’s highly recommended!

Stunning

We had an amazing time, such a wonderful property. Chosen because we needed three bedrooms with ensuite of equal standard. We went paddle board and used the hot tub which was amazing. The pipes of the kitchen tap made a noise but didn’t really bother us too much.

Family weekend away

The Stables was everything we wanted. Nice big kitchen/dining room to all gather in. Lovely views. Hot tub (essential for our family weekends away). Beds really comfortable. Plenty of parking outside property.

LOVELY!

Great spot, great house, so enjoyed it. Peaceful and restful. Great outlook, close to the river, use of the farm land for walking, is a real bonus and enclosed garden for our furry friends is a real hit.

Bartlett stay

We had a wonderful stay at The Stables. The house itself is beautifully decorated, spacious and very well equipped, perfect for a family gathering. Outside there is a very large enclosed garden which is good for children or pets. Lovely walks nearby and the table tennis and table football were put to good use as was the lovely new sauna. The location was good with easy access to Faringdon and Burford. Lovely and quiet.

A very comfortable and enjoyable stay

We were at The Stables over a weekend. The property is lovely, spacious, tastefully furnished and well-equipped. The surroundings are pretty, with the riverbank only a short walk away. Faringdon is nearby and we visited Lechlade, Cricklade, Hampton and Burford. We had a great time and would happily visit again and recommend this property to others.

Perfect weekend stay

Amazing property, location is amazing cottage is so well equipped and beautifully presented. The amenities on site as well were such an added bonus. Few minor cleanliness issues such as cobwebs which is expected in a country cottage. My only suggestion not criticism is the washer and dryer need a good clean as they’re mouldy so we couldn’t use. Overall we had the best stay and would definitely return

A Hidden Gem

We had a wonderful stay at The Stables. The property is beautifully converted - full of character with a stylish, modern touch. It’s quiet, clean, and incredibly comfortable, with everything thoughtfully provided for a relaxing break The hosts were warm, welcoming, and responsive - making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of care into the space We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming countryside escape

A wonderful stay at The Stables!

We had a great stay in a beautiful cottage in stunning surroundings. The facilities and cottage were excellent, really comfortable, lovely open plan kitchen and large bedrooms. The little touches for our dog, baby was really appreciated and we had everything needed across the property and kitchen. The surroundings were lovely with a beautiful private garden space for enjoying the outdoors. The only thing to bear in mind is the need to drive to neighboring towns/villages to see things or eat out as there's nothing in the immediate area or walkable.

A perfect New Year's break

We had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous property over New Year. The furnishings and decor were of the highest standard, beds really comfortable and the surrounding countryside is peaceful and beautiful. Family break

Overall a very good break in a well appointed property. The welcome pack on arrival was a nice surprise. Just be sure to take your own loo rolls as these were rationed.

A Wonderful Week in the Cotswolds

We were staying at Camden Farm for our daughter's wedding nearby and it was so lovely to have the space and comfort of The Stables. The kitchen was well equipped with some lovely touches like the eggs and butter. The peace and quiet was very welcome and we slept so well in the comfortable beds. With the wedding going on we weren't able to take advantage of the amenities, but would definitely recommend this to families of all ages.

What a great way to celebrate becoming 40!

A lovely long weekend with family and friends relaxing and celebrating! Loved the spacious kitchen….everybody got stuck in with the cooking! Gorgeous smell from the wood fire and the hot tub was an added bonus! The property was well laid out and the beds are so comfortable. Lovely added personal extras to make our stay more welcoming. Will definitely book again.

Outstanding accommodation

Our stay at the stables was everything we wanted for a special occasion with our family. Beautiful decor and high quality fittings throughout. Caroline was on hand for any questions. Despite outdoor freezing conditions the stables were warm and toastie! We also used several of the VIP recommendations and discounts. Highly recommend a quiet and comfortable getaway!
