Enjoy our lake house available for weekly rentals in Cambridge, Wisconsin. Just one block off beautiful Lake Ripley, you're steps away from 450 acres of fishing, boating, water skiing, canoeing or just lounging around. We have a large public beach about one (1) mile away. The Cambridge Lake House is located just 130 miles from downtown Chicago.

Everything about this stay was A. Check-in was a breeze, the hosts were very responsive, the cabin was well-stocked and the location…steps from Lake Ripley was excellent.

Short but enjoyable stay

We stayed here for three nights on a brief trip, just needing a place to stay with our dog. We had quite a bit of fun during our stay. The nearby town of Cambridge is completely charming. The Lake access is nice, although we did not have a chance to use it. The cabin is well appointed. Scott and Keith were very helpful in getting us oriented to the house and the area. We have talked about returning!

Serenity by the lake

We chose this property mostly for the location, as we were visiting family in Cambridge and didn't want to drive in from Madison every day. This cabin is in a peaceful and beautiful environment. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and serve meals. WiFi and cable TV worked perfectly. The initial walkthrough with the host was thorough and helpful, and communication throughout our stay was great (via text and in the printed booklet).

great place!

it was the perfect place to relax and rest between wedding festivities we had from the weekend. we went out on the kayaks and it was great! i highly recommend staying here!

Keith was a great host. Communication great! Instant response to any question/ communication. Perfect property for my needs. Close neighbors, but absolutely no intrusion. Had a lovely, quiet weekend with my doggos.

Quiet and Convenient Escape

We really appreciated how close we were to Madison and how calm/quiet our location. Having the lake close by was a great way for us to quickly relax/unwind after a busy day given our itinerary.

Paddle Boat Paradise

Had a wonderful time at the lake house. Access to the water was easy and convenient and plenty of fun toys to tour the lake. Kids had a great time and so did our dog. What a fantastic way to enjoy beautiful lake Ripley. See you all again soon!

CLH Stay

From start to finish, it was an amazing experience with great communications from the owner. The home was clean and stocked with everything we needed from kitchen to Lake access. It was a great way to celebrate the 4th of July!

Cozy Quiet Cabin

This house is a cozy place in a quiet neighborhood. Both clean and comfortable. 20 minutes from Madison. Beautiful lake Ripley. Several good resturaunts nearby. Fantastic hosts.

Host friendly and accommodating and easy to speak to. Lake house was clean, well stocked and well located. If we return to Madison, this vrbo will certainly be our first choice to stay.

Tranquil Cabin Lovely View

The host was exceptionally nice, the setting is a lovely, very peaceful little area close to the lake in Cambridge. I really liked some of the conveniences they thought of, like not just candles but they left lighters so you could light them, and they explained the tv remote so clearly even I could do it :). We loved the deck and ate out there every meal. Overall, very easy, peaceful stay for our niece's fourth Birthday.

Peaceful cabin getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this cute cabin. Great outdoor spaces and living areas to gather. Comfortable beds. Easy walk to lake access and dock. The town of Cambridge is really cute, with great restaurants and fun shops. The hosts are fantastic and great with communication!

Fantastic!

This cabin was just the right size and location for us. Our group of friends was able to enjoy downtown Madison with an easy drive in and out of the city. We enjoyed the lake house cabin feel that you would normally get "up north" in Wisconsin. Everything was clean and stocked with any supplies / amenities we needed. The owner was very responsive and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend!

Just what we needed

Not the common scenario, we had a family emergency and could not leave our dog at home or boarded. The property was just what we needed on short notice. Despite the lingering Wisconsin winter, this was cozy and comfortable. Clean- and communication was excellent. Definitely the top of our list for future stays.

Pet-friendly Lake cabin

Absolutely amazing stay at the lake cabin. Great location and close to all of the fun things Cambridge has to offer. Super nice owners who really go the extra mile for your stay. Best part is you can bring your fur babies along, this means everything to my husband and me. The house was clean, charming and stocked with everything you need. Can't wait to stay again. Thanks for the amazing hospitality:)

Youth livestock show stay

For the very little time we were there it was a great property. We didn’t really use any of the extras on site as we were there to sleep, shower and eat. Would use again.

Nice getaway cabin

This cabin had everything we needed, plus more. We stayed the weekend with our two little kids. It had plenty of room to sleep & spread out. This cabin would be a blast with some friends during the summer since it’s very close to the lake & provides lots of fun amenities including grill, fire pit, bar, open deck, & water toys. It’s very close to plenty of restaurants, gas stations, & a grocery store. The owners were very welcoming as well. We would definitely recommend this cabin.
