We love this house!

We’ve stayed at this place before, and the host has made this a fantastic spot to stay while in Baker! Her communication is outstanding, and the house is very clean and comfortable! Looking forward to staying here again!

baker city visit

my sisters and i had a reunion in baker city and stayed at teresas. this place is quiet, well outfitted for cooking and convienient to town. we walked a lot thru the shady neighborhood and felt very welcome. lovely place!

Great house for quick stop or longer stay

We stayed in this cute house for one night, but would rent again for a longer stay. It was cozy yet spacious and fit all 6 of us nicely. Teresa was very helpful and made sure we had what we needed. Everyone enjoyed their stay, thanks Teresa!

Perfect for us!

Just 8 blocks from the Grand Geiser Hotel, yet this neighbor hood was spacious and quiet. The fenced in area was great for our dogs. Theresa was very responsive to any questions. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks much Theresa!!!

Nice comfortable stay in the heart of Baker City

We had a wonderful time staying at this home. With 5 adults and a 2 year old things can get pretty crazy but staying here during our trip to Baker City provided us a haven for relaxing and getting our 2 year old the afternoon nap she needed to support our other activities. The owner was very responsive to our needs and any questions we had. The kitchen had all the cooking gear we needed to make breakfast in the morning and plenty of plates/utensils when we grabbed food and brought it back to the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Just Right

We needed a nice comfy place to stay on our way to Oregon. The house is nice and the beds comfortable. Close to the freeway and the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center. Teresa is easy to reach,friendly and responds quickly. Thanks Teresa.

Vintage house with still some of the beautiful, probably original lights, doorknobs, window and more. Beautiful ornate radiators! And a heating system that was very cozy in the snow and cold weather! Beds very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Bathrooms are adequate, but old. Teresa is an exceptional host! Very responsive to any little thing.

Comfortable But A Bit Shabby

The host was great with communication and the location was wonderful - walked to the historical district & shops. We did encounter a few disappointments. For the price, I didn't expect broken blinds, curtains with holes, front door knob falling apart, tv being very small, cheap amenities, and walls that needed some fresh paint and patching. Perhaps it is still in the process of getting updated (the pictures led me to believe everything was spit-spot) or maybe it is just a very old house that looks well used. At any rate, we did enjoy our stay in Baker City but if we go there again, will probably find a more pristine place.

Charming home

The owners have maintained most of the home's orriginal floors, woodwork and windows with an updated kitchen. Excellent beds and walking distance to town. Is in a neighborhood of more run down properties. As the home is old, air conditioning is a window unit with ample ceiling fans. There is an upstairs tenant we were aware of but it was not bothersome. Best value for the price in Baker as we have stayed at overpriced hotels prior. Would stay again. Owner is responsive and check-in, check-out seamless.

Not bad for price

Could’ve been worse, not bad if you don’t plan on spending much time there. Definitely a tenant upstairs with a “fire exit” door in one of the bedrooms that we think connected to the upstairs. Left us feeling kind of uneasy and didn’t feel comfortable sleeping in there but no issues with it that we knew of. Also the listing says washer and dryer but really means a laundromat is available nearby. Weird smells too the first night but we got some air refreshers that helped. Two bathrooms is accurate but the dollar tree cut up shower curtain situation in the bathroom with the clawfoot tub was gross and we only used the front shower between all of us. Got it for a good price so I can’t complain too much, however I feel like the listing isn’t completely accurate and others should be aware. Real close to downtown Baker City tho, good location

Darling vintage house

We stayed overnight as a waypoint on the road to the Oregon coast. The house was adorable with beautiful original antique elements. Four stars was because the back door is in the third bedroom with pretty sketchy “security” (it could easily be broken into) and my teenagers wouldn’t not stay in it.
