We loved this cottage… it was so charming that words can’t do it justice. You just have to come experience it for yourselves. The hosts were exceptional, and the farm animals had such character. Would recommend for sure !

This is such a charming home! We loved the ambiance, chatting with Ciaran, listening to the beautiful chorus of birds, reveling in the loveliness of the misty countryside. Everything was so nice and peaceful.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The space is very charming and set in a peaceful location. Ciaran was very responsive to our questions before arrival and met us at check-in to ensure we had everything we needed. Our kids especially loved the animals on their hobby farm. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in the country.

Absolutely beautiful!!

The most beautiful and quaint cottage we have ever had the pleasure to visit. The hosts were so attentive and supplied kitchen staples for our arrival. Property is spotlessly clean as well. A real gem!!

Beautiful and cozy cabin. The pictures don’t do the cottage enough justice. We felt right at home and enjoyed hanging out on the porch with the peacock! We are definitely going to rebook in a couple years and come visit again! The drive getting to the cottage was definitely an experience! I would recommend this cottage to anyone!
The only rainbow we seen during our whole trip was at Turrock Cottage! I’ve never seen one so vibrant!

Wonderful Irish Cottage

Cottage was everything we imagined it would be! Ciaran and Diedre were outstanding hosts; very helpful and accommodating. Even had great recommendations for places to see in the area. Will definitely stay here again if given the opportunity and would highly recommend for anyone searching for a unique experience for their Irish holiday!

Very friendly, helpful hosts. Incredibly beautiful countryside. Loved the cottage. Especially enjoyed the loft and view upstairs. Host was very kind to help us with directions one night. We would be very excited to come again!

Cozy Cottage

We had a lovely time in the cottage! It was just what we needed after our long flight! We wish we would have stayed another night! Mario the cat was a treat for our 13 year old and Ciaran & Deirdre were wonderful hosts! Definitely recommend!

Amazing cottage

Had a brilliant few days in this lovely cottage in a stunning part of Wicklow. The cottage has everything you need if you want to get away from it all but is also a great base for exploring the beautiful county of Wicklow. We loved all the animals who were very friendly especially Pluto the peacock who it was a thrill to be able to hand feed. The hosts Deirdre and Ciaran are lovely, friendly and helpful and cannot do enough for you. Would definitely recommend a stay here, you will not be disappointed

Wonderful accommodation.

Truly an enjoyable experience staying at this unique cottage. Our host arranged many extras to make us comfortable. Such a cosy cottage. I wish we could have stayed longer. And he was a wealth of knowledge about the area and the culture of that part of Ireland. We felt very welcome.

Beautiful, cozy, relaxing

From the moment we pulled up to the moment we left, this place and the hosts made us feel at home. Our toddlers loved the animals, especially getting to feed the donkeys carrots and the peacock bananas.We all felt more like extended family coming to visit than strangers renting a space.We only stayed for 2 nights but we all wished we had planned for more time at Turrock Cottage. When we come back, this will be our number one location, even if we have to adjust our trip itinerary to make it happen.

Little paradise

We were warmly welcomed and had a wonderful week from then on. With great animals (including banana-loving peacocks), a great view over green hilly landscapes and a good starting point to explore the southwest of Ireland. Thank you very much for your time with you!

Highlight of our trip!

Ciaran’s home was exactly what we had hoped and better! We were looking for the mythical Irish countryside experience and his home and property delivered! The home was super cozy, and the grounds and surrounding area were extremely peaceful and enchanting. You can tell Ciaran and Deirdre are true artists!

Wonderfull, idyllic cottage

We had a wonderful time in March. We loved being away from the cities to enjoy the fresh air, calm surroundings and every lovely animal on the farm. Ciran is a wonderful host with lots of good hikingtips for the sorrounded area. We loved the details in the house and enjoyed some rainy afternoon in the living room with Mario beside a nice warm fireplace. We highly recommend to plan a stay in this cottage.
