Wonderful place to stay

Great place to stay if your travel brings you to Cody. Super close to all the local amenities, clean, convenient and well appointed. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place in a nice neighborhood. Everyone we ran into was super friendly. As promised, we saw many deer walk up the street. We would definitely consider staying there again if ever back in the area.

Another great stay!

We've stayed at this property previously and chose to stay here again as its the perfect place to stay in Cody. Close to all the amenities, peaceful and has everything you need.

Super cute place close to center of town

Very clean, comfortable, cozy place in town. Planning on staying there again. Owner is easy to get a hold of if needed. Fantastic stay!

We are a retired couple who love to travel and this place was perfect for us. It’s a little on the small side but that’s what we were looking for. Very clean. Very comfortable place to stay. There were deer in the yard every morning!

Lovely little cottage!

Karen’s place is a wonderful place for a couple wanting to hang out in Cody for a few days! It is far enough off the Main Street to be quiet but an easy walk to everything! Everything was spotless and had everything necessary for a very relaxing stay!!! The bed was definitely the most comfortable we’ve stayed in besides our own in years!! Karen is a wonderful host and right next door if you need anything! We will definitely stay there again!

Lots of space, easy parking, walking distance to shops, restaurants, museums, night life! Really well kept property. Beautiful yard also.There is great views from front porch in every direction. Quiet and peaceful!

Great little place just blocks off the main street and all activities. The condo looks exactly as shown in the pictures. We loved our stay.

Weekend Trip

Great time in Cody for the weekend, property was perfect for me and my buddy, a nice small house to offer exactly what we needed. Owners communicated well and clearly throughout, thankful for the listing!

Great secret cottage

Great location, nice neighborhood, quiet. One bedroom / bath. Full kitchen and living-room. On street parking in front of house. Clean. Owner is a great communicator. Three deer like to hang-out nearby.

Week stay - October

Nice neighborhood. Clean facility. Very good for a couple. Trivial but would be nice to have a manual there for guidances on things like wash, dishes, TV, etc. Lots of little hand written mini notes stuck on things such as washer, TV stand, etc. but overall good stay.

The rental was very nice inside — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. Was exactly as pictured, the outside doesn’t reflect the prettiness of the inside. The floors were clean and shiny and very slippery. Bed and pillows very plush. We appreciated thecare put into making the space welcoming. One thing to note is that there are several postedreminders and rules around the property. While it may seem helpful, they are very noticeable and over whelming.Overall, it was still a enjoyable experience.

Quiet w/ Great Proximity to Downtown Cody

Quiet, safe neighborhood within walking distance to all the shops & restaurants in downtown Cody. Property felt a little stuffy and dark, even with the blinds and windows open. Great amount of space, though, for a small family. Kitchen could have used a few more things, like mixing bowls & sturdier utensils for cooking, and the mattress was a little soft for my taste, but comfortable. Great WiFi speed, good selection of channels through Spectrum cable. Within close driving distance to Cody and Powell, including hiking, fishing, museums, and sightseeing. Overall had a wonderful stay. Communication with the owner was fast and easy. Was even able to accommodate an early arrival, which I appreciated. Would definitely recommend.

This house won 10 awards for best decorated. Nicole graciously stayed with us when it rained the whole time she was there. Of course when you look out a window & its raining for 4 days its not going to be a bright sunny day. Somehow its seems to be mistakenly blamed on my stunning award winning house. We have a large beautiful yard with 22 shade trees, Kentucky bluegrass long enough to run your toes through, 4 log swings, Two horse Swings, Fire pits, And The elk, Rabbits, and the deer visit on daily events. The shade trees do keep it cool in the summer time when it gets up to ninety degrees, our house will not be hot Like others with gravel in their yard and no trees. Lots of lighting that can be turned on as well. We do have larger houses that you have the option to choose from videos & pictures provided on all houses

Everything was great except for surprise visitor

The stay itself was great. My boyfriend and I were on vacation and had gotten back late from Yellowstone on the last night of our stay. We got back and the lights were on and there was another car out front. The owner, Karen, overbooked, and there was another man in the house, thinking HE was supposed to be there. We checked our reservations and sure enough she had booked him to check in the night BEFORE we were supposed to check out. We were very lucky that this man was kind and honest, or else this situation could have gone VERY differently. Our stuff could have been stolen, or we could have been hurt. I would recommend messaging the owner after booking to CONFIRM that THEY have the correct dates and aren’t over booking.

What really happened is the other man got a free upgrade to a house with a mountain view for no upcharge. He got mixed up & went to the original house even though we sent him all the information & confirmed with him in advance. No one called me about the situation or it would have been solved immediately. We will send another message on the day of check in & require another confirmation on the day of check in from now on. First & only time this happened in 10 years, my appologie

Hidden Gem in Cody

We loved our stay at the Secret Cottage. Our family rented the Secret Cottage as well as the House of the 3 Bears. The Secret Cottage was clean and well-appointed. The kitchen had great appliances, including a washer and dryer. The furniture was very comfortable and the internet worked well.Communication with the host was easy and professional. All directions were easy to follow. Questions were answered clearly and promptly.The Secret Cottage is located within easy walking distance of downtown Cody. We had no problem navigating our stay. It was very nice to be able to walk to restaurants and shops rather than driving everywhere.We really enjoyed the wildlife that frequented the backyard. The multiple seating areas, fire pit, and swings for the kids encouraged us to spend a great deal of time outside.I highly recommend the Secret Cottage to anyone staying in Cody. If you have a large group, I recommend pairing it with the House of the 3 Bears. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful place

We so enjoyed our stay in the Yellowstone House of the Three Bears. We only used a portion of the spacious cottage as there was just the two of us. It was one of the best experiences of our trip. The location of the house was so close to everything we walked a lot and enjoyed the neighborhood, the beautiful trees, the deer that were everywhere. It was great! The home is warm, inviting, clean, the bed was comfortable, everything was provided that one could possibly need. It was upscale, the towels were thick and soft, as well as nice soft bedding. The kitchen was well appointed with all needs met. The home was more than expected and that's always a good thing. Karen was great to work with, we had some questions at the beginning of our stay, we actually wanted to verify that we were in the right place and our phone call was returned within the hour. Karen made us feel more than welcomed. Cody is one of our favorite places and we hope to return many more times. We would live to stay again with "The Three Bears".

Do not reccomend

House was dark. AC was one window unit in bedroom which was very loud. You could only open one window, the others were either screwed shut or had no screens. The doors had no screen doors. The bed was broken you slid to the middle if you tried to sleep in it. The backyard is a shared area with the house behind it. we never could get password to wifi. We contacted the owner and told her it wasn't where she said it was, she told us to take a pic of password and send it to her.

Very nice stay!

This place was a nice place to stay while in Cody. It is in a quiet neighborhood. The setup is comfortable and plenty of room. Bed was comfortable. Furniture was comfortable and all nicely appointed. We appreciated the frosted mugs in the freezer when we arrived, and ice had been made ahead of time for us. We appreciated the washer/dryer to do a couple of small loads, which meant we didn't have to pack as heavy for the trip. While you don't go to Cody to watch tv, we would come back after a long day at Yellowstone and just relax. We had plenty of options for movies or regular cable, and we had good internet service. Parking is on the street in front. I will admit that when we first arrived, I was a little concerned because it appeared to be a converted garage. But honestly the place is nicely decorated and you can't tell when you're inside at all. And it has a nice little front yard with a small tree for privacy. The front facade makes it appear to be a tiny house. Bathroom was well appointed, too, with hot water, good water pressure, and luxury bath towels. This was a perfect home base for day trips to Yellowstone or surrounding towns. We stopped at the Walmart and bought picnic-fare which we could make up in the mornings and pack the cooler with food and beverage. We even had a pair of deer nibbling on the tree outside our window one morning while we sipped our morning coffee.

For me, good location. As I cook for a family, the kitchen was an issue. Needs much better lighting.

Fixed ! The kitchen sink light Has a dimmer switch on it, I noticed it was turned on low, All you have to do is slide it up and then it'll be as bright as can be, I put LED Lighting in there, Which is the brightest & closest to natural (has no yellow tones), Part of my job as interior designer is to do lighting, I think some people turn it down to create A cool atmosphere at night 1 of the ceiling fan lights had Gone out after our inspection. We keep replacements above the kitchen sink and we would be happy if you notify us to come over and change the bulb. Thank you for staying I will put a note on dimmer so people don't miss Adjusting to there liking Cheers
