Welcome to the Happy Trails Lodge! You will enjoy a newer 4 bedroom, 2 bath cabin with views of the hills, pine trees and pasture, centrally located at the Three Forks, intersection of Hwy 385 & Hwy 16, near the Diamond Spur Events Center. From here, you will have easy access to all the central hills attractions, including Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Sheridan Lake, Pactola Reservoir, Hill City, Keystone and the Black Hills National Forest. With such easy access to everything, you will be able to relax more, drive less, and enjoy the beautiful views right from the deck. The home features modern interior finishes, custom woodwork, creative lighting accents, 3 queen beds and one King size. There is also a queen size sleeper sofa, and a twin sleeper sofa in the living room for your extra guests. Each bedroom is equipped with a TV, bedside lamps, an overhead fan, a large closet with hangers and shelves, extra air mattresses and bedding. The house is stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, hair dryer, toilet paper, paper towels, 12 cup coffee maker, dishes, dish soap, utensils, crock pot, iron, bed sheets, pillows, extra blankets, quilts and pillows for extra beds, also a propane gas grill and outdoor furniture. We hope your stay is comfortable and relaxing. This is your time, so enjoy your vacation in the Black Hills!

Super clean, beds were awesome! Very nice amenities, plenty of parking for our motorcycles, inside and outside were up to date and nice to use. House was well stocked with essentials (towels, washcloths, silverware and kitchen stuff). Recommend this place for sure!

The house was wonderful and close to our activities. Very roomy with 4 bedrooms. Kitchen was well stocked. The only suggestion I have is to provide some plastic dishes for younger children and have more silverware. We loved our stay!

Great cabin for a 5 day getaway! Perfect location, great in-cabin amenities - super clean - modern yet rustic. Perfect place for guys trip. Place was comfortable and checks all the boxes. Would also recommend for family getaway - layout of cabin is ideal with bedrooms on either side of the main living area.

Overall this was a good stay. There were a few kitchen items that need replaced and would have been nice to have. Check in and check out was very smooth. Communication was good. There was a dirty sheet covered in crumbs on the pull out couch when we went to use it on our first night. Easy enough fix, as the guests before us failed to take off that sheet themselves.

We enjoy spending weekends at the house, relaxing, reading books, going biking on the Michelson Trail, going out to dinner or touring the local attractions and new places we haven't seen yet. The changing weather conditions are always exciting to watch. We love going rock hunting, hiking, skiing and tubing with our kids. At night we cook dinners, sip wine and play board games.
