A great house, in a smashing location for walking the Shropshire hills . The house was clean and comfortable and met all our needs for a week’s stay. The kitchen was well equipped as we prefer to prepare our own meals. Only 1 drawback forMe was I’d would’ve preferred a softer pillow, but that is my preference not criticism . We arrived by train so no parking issues but it does have a large drive . I would’ve liked to see a larger television.

The rooms were all clean and well prepared. The kitchen is more than big enough for the number of guests the house can take. The location is fantastic for the shops, transport, pubs and eateries. It is also a good starting point for the many walks around Stretton.Parking is easy and being in a private cul-de-sac, it was so peaceful. Lovely to be listening to bird-song in the morning rather than traffic.

A charming cottage in the center of Church Stretton. Our family of four was very comfortable with all of the additional space, and the fireplace made the chilly evenings very cozy. David was a great host who provided immediate assistance with any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Pretty cottage in beautiful location

I had a lovely short stay in this property in Nov ‘23 with family. Both the cottage and local surroundings are very pretty. The cottage is well equipped and large - would make the perfect base for people on a walking holiday.
