We had a wonderful stay at Villa Bundar and came home with so many lovely memories.The villa is beautiful, exactly as described, very comfortable and well equipped. But what truly makes this place special is the amazing team looking after the house. Throughout our stay, we were treated with so much care, kindness and attention.A very special thank you to Kadek – we absolutely loved every single meal she prepared for us! It was such a pleasure to enjoy her delicious cooking day after day. We also really appreciated Ketut’s help, almost on a daily basis, with organising our outings and discovering the area. She was always incredibly kind, helpful and available.The only downside is the beach directly in front of the villa, which unfortunately suffers from a significant amount of plastic and other waste washed up by the sea. This is obviously a much wider issue and not something specific to Villa Bundar. Despite this, we had an absolutely fantastic stay at Villa Bundar. We left with wonderful memories of the villa, the area and, above all, the lovely people who took such good care of us.We would happily recommend Villa Bundar!

Wish we could have stayed longer

Was so blissful that we decided to stay at the villa and not do any activites that we planned. Kadek was amazing and took such good care of us. The pool and ocean was hypnotically beautiful. We had in villa massages. Ketut took care of arranging everything including a wonderful dinner at beach spice club. What a magical place...

Fabulous, we loved being there and everyone was so helpful and accommodating. It’s a beautiful, restful place to stay with everything you need. We had delicious meals prepared for us daily and every request responded to quickly and kindly.I highly recommend this property. It is a shame though that the beach has so much plastic rubbish. This is no reflection on this property, ocean litter is a problem for all of the island. I wish the beaches could be clean. Balinese government needs to act to stop the dumping of rubbish in the sea.

Great villa to relax

Great villa for my family - wife, myself and two adult boys. The villa is not walking distance to the village of Lovina for restaurants but this is part of the appeal. Quiet and relaxing. They provide a driver to get you anywhere you want for a very reasonable price so tours, trips into town to any of the great restaurants is easily organised. We had breakfast at the villa made every morning by the staff which was a delight, and then roamed around between all the restaurants in the area during the day. Tours - we went diving - were easily organised as well. Staff and communication was excellent. Can thoroughly recommend.

Property is nice, but listing is inaccurate

We enjoyed our stay here overall. However, the VRBO listing indicates that the welcome dinner and following breakfast are included with your stay (obviously you pay for groceries). This is only the case if you are staying here for 7 or more days which is not mentioned in the VRBO listing. For our family of 4 to have breakfast and dinner prepared by the villa staff would have cost 1.2 million rupiah per day plus the cost of groceries. Much cheaper to eat out or order in in Bali! The villa is very nice, location is excellent and the pool is very refreshing with plenty of shade.

More than I imagined

This property was even better in real life than the listing. It is beautiful, great pool, right on the beach, so peaceful and relaxing. The staff were outstanding and Kadek the cook made the best meals. Our food prepared by her surpassed all of our restaurant meals. Ketut the customer service was so helpful. She suggested activities, and arranged everything we asked of her. It made everything run so smooth and with very little thought. There was a property book that provided a lot of additional information that we didn't know we needed. We hope to return to Bali, and we WILL stay here again, we hated to leave.

Bundar the Beautiful

We arrived at Villa Bundar at midnight, after a 25-hour journey, to a delicious meal of chicken, rice and vegetables. The following morning we were treated to a complementary Balinese massage at the Villa. There followed quite a few more after that! Our aim in coming here was to simply relax and recuperate after a busy year and we have been able to do exactly that. We have been waited on hand and foot by Ketut and her staff, the meals cooked for us have been delicious and nothing has been too much trouble. The few outings with Ketut, the driver, were very enjoyable, especially the coffee and rice fields trip. We can recommend the 10th Table restaurant and for a special occasion, Damai, which also offers high quality Balinese food. We found the information in the book to be most useful and the drivers have always been punctual and polite. We should like to thank all at Villa Bundar for their attention to our every need. It’s been such a lovely holiday.

Magic

A big thank you to the staff of Villa Bundar who took care of us throughout our month-long stay, making this vacation unforgettable. The villa is comfortable and pleasant and, above all, is located less than 10 m from the beach, separated by a small wall and a gate. An almost deserted beach (at least until 4:30 p.m. / 5 p.m. on certain days) How many meals were taken on the terrace, watching (and listening) to the waves. Magic. To be completely honest, we must warn future vacationers that the downside of being on a public beach like this is that, sometimes, even though most Balinese people are wonderfully friendly and discreet people, some of them did not hesitate to stand in front of the villa and happily observed us, took photos, while drinking, eating and visibly making fun of us. No privacy possible in these moments. And no action possible, other than going “taking refuge” inside. Despite this, we are already planning to return at Villa Bundar next year !

Perfect Beachfront Getaway at Villa Bungar!We spent 5 wonderful nights at Villa Bungar as a family of four (with two teens, ages 12 and 14). It was everything we could have wished for!* Villa & Location: Direct beachfront, exceptionally clean, and 3 comfortable AC bedrooms. The ocean view is stunning, and the public beach was very quiet and peaceful.* Outstanding Staff: A huge thank you to Kadek, who kept the villa spotless and prepared amazing meals for us.* Excursions: We did two snorkeling trips and one dolphin-watching tour. Best of all: local boats picked us up right on the beach in front of the villa!Highly recommended for a relaxing stay—we would love to come back!

More than just an amazing property.

Our stay was amazing! More than a great location, Katut and her team were fantastic. We were well fed and she helped us find things to do. Nothing was a problem. We look forward to coming back in the near future.

Beautiful, quiet and friendly villa

Very clean and Well kept villa with the beach on your doorstep.friendly and helpfull staff and we had the best diners ever.we felt Royal for a week.with a driver easy acces to a lot of sightseeing and 10min walk along the beach to a activity center with for example jetski rental.we Will definitly come here again

Villa etwas älter aber top gepflegt, ebenso die gesamte Anlage. Personal liest einem jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab. Phänomenale Köchin. Relax-Aufenthalt pur. Einziges Minus - 1 Woche wurde Unmengen Müll am Strand angeschwemmt. 2. Woche ok.

Brilian Villa Bundar

This was our second visit to the villa. Once again our expectations were exceeded. The villa, setting, location, staff, etc., were all excellent. We cannot speak highly enough of Ketut who looked after us so well and made the holiday even more memorable. Oh, and Ketut's cooking skills are sublime; her meals were better than at a couple of high-end resorts we ate at. All in all, a perfect place to relax and be looked after but unfailingly smiling staff. Bliss.

Amazing days in Lovina

Villa Bundar kon haast niet beter. Al voor de vakantie begon hadden we contact met Angelique. Zij gaf ons verschillende goede tips waar we gebruik van hebben gemaakt. Alles was goed geregeld. We werden op het juiste tijdstip opgepikt, bezochten een aantal bezienswaardigheden en reden door naar de villa. Daar eenmaal aangekomen was het allemaal nog mooier dan het op de foto leek. De ligging is perfect, je loopt vanuit de villa letterlijk zo het strand op. Petut (de bediende) hielp ons overal bij en regelde alles perfect voor ons. Ze kan erg goed koken en is erg behulpzaam maar zeker niet opdringerig, iets wat wij erg prettig vonden. We hebben top dagen in Villa Bundar gehad en zouden de villa zo weer boeken!

Great Villa experience near the beach in Northern

The Villa is great and very clean. The household help really cooks very well and she is extremely friendly and caring but yet not very present. Perhaps the internet is not as we are used to and the bathroom slightly outdated, but that's just a detail. The view over the sea is unforgetable and the people are quite friendly indeed. We can indeed recommend this property for a stay
