Maui Sunset A310 - 1BR, 2BA Oceanview King Bed

A310 is a beautiful 1 bedroom, 2 bath oceanview condo at Maui Sunset Resort which is the perfect vacation home. The resort is oceanfront and has a large swimming pool, hot tub, a shuffleboard court, putting green, and gorgeous gardens and grounds. There are also gas BBQ grills and an exercise room. The resort consists of two buildings with the pool and beautiful courtyard in the middle. Each building has two elevators. Enjoy the pool with a shallow end for small children or relax on a lounge by the pool or in the jet spa.

Our beautiful 1 bedroom condo features 2 baths both with walk in showers. There is a fully equipped kitchen including a washer and dryer. The bedroom has a king bed and there is a sofa sleeper and a twin sized daybed in the living room. All towels (including beach towels) and linens are provided. Complete laundry facilities in our condo include washer, dryer, iron and ironing board. We have air conditioning in the living room and bedroom as well as ceiling fans. There is a wide-screen TV and we offer free internet. The large 112 square foot private lanai has a great view overlooking the pool and beautiful grounds to the ocean. This is the perfect spot to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets or watch whales in the winter months. We also provide beach mats and chairs.

Shopping and restaurants are close by.

Amazing communication, location is right in the water!

Firstly, the condo is set up great with the bedroom in the back, a deck overlooking the lawn and viewing the ocean, and beach chairs and towels and an umbrella! Terrie was super flexible when we hit an unexpected snag and had to leave early, and communication was very prompt. Loved the grounds and the pool and we got to see turtles in the beach on our morning coffee walk! Thanks again so much for the great stay

liked the size of the place, the sofa bed is a health hazard, but all in all it was in a good spot.

Doesn't have a lot of privacy, but if you only need one bedroom and the rest of the party could sleep in the living area, then it is a good spot.

Better than expected

The check in process was seamless, especially since we arrived late on a Friday night. Everyone was friendly around the property and it was a larger condo than the pictures showed! Definitely recommend this, good price for a great property.

Maui October 22 vacation

We stayed in unit A310. The unit was very clean and just as described online on Vrbo. It was centrally located so we could be almost anywhere on the island in a half hour to an hour drive. Hot tub was nice as was the pool. Beautiful sunsets every evening.

Great Family Trip

We loved staying at this property, we were glad to find such an affordable condo at a great location. The condo was a little dated, but that is what makes it affordable..The pool area, grounds, large balcony, and ocean view were so nice. We also appreciate having the use of beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, and sand toys. Perfect spot for my little family. Thanks!

Met our needs perfectly!!!

This was a wonderful condo and property that met our needs perfectly. Lovely spot right on the beach with gorgeous views, beautifully maintained grounds, and a really fun multi-generational family environment. The condo itself was perfect for what we needed for our Maui vacation. Every time I looked for something to use in the kitchen, there it was!! It felt like a home away from home. This was our first time to Maui and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for an amazing vacation spot.

Perfect for what we needed!

We had such a great experience here! The location in Kihei is great, minutes from everything. The grounds at the property are nice and it’s nice to have access to the beach and pool. And was great to have beach towels and beach accessories to borrow! There was 4 of us and we all slept comfortably. The place comes with some food condiments so check out what’s available before you do your grocery shopping! I would definitely recommend and stay there again!

The pictures were very accurate for the condo. Very nice location & comfy beds. The only issue was the dust was a bit thick & the vacuum was very full so we had to clean it out to vacuum when we arrived. Otherwise very nice.

Place is as advertised but even better when you are here!

Condo is very clean. You have everything needed to just arrive, buy groceries, and feel right at home with a gorgeous view! You can see the sunset on the ocean side and mountains on the other side, both visible from the same balcony. Thank you and look forward to doing this again one day! Jorge and Carolina

Property was exactly as described. Nice to have beach chairs and towels to use. Very centrally located. Communication with the owner was good. Condo is also more spacious than the pictures look. We did find that some of the glassware, pans and utensils were not clean. I think that the cleaning crew need to spend a little more time getting things ready for the next occupant. Overall, good value for money.

Awesome place!

We would rent this place again for sure!! The only problem with the location is it takes a while to get to most of the things we wanted to do, but the property offers so many things, tennis, shuffle board, there are paddle board and boat rentals. There is flat lush greens to play soccer, bocce ball and so much more. Small beach to relax. The actual place was quaint, worked perfect for our family of 4 and provided full kitchen to make the cost of meals a little better, as food costs on the island are higher than the mainland. Costco, target, or longs drugs were the best places to get groceries. Have fun! Aloha!

Nice condo needs some TLC

Great location. Some remodeling done, more needed. Carpet stained. Side chair near couch needs new cushion. The bedroom mattress is NOT good, needs replacing. Pool closed for last 2 days of our stay, needs to be posted when others book so they know. We worked around it. That said, those are some improvements needed to make this a top shelf rental.

Perfect and Just Enough

The location of Maui Sunset is perfect; close enough to drive across to Kahului in 20 mins and central to Kihei 6-10 mins drive to basically everything. Full kitchen was perfect to cook dinner or prepare a meal to BBQ down in courtyard (which are kept very clean!). The ability to do laundry in the condo was a lifesaver. There was ample amounts of beach towels and regular towels, plus a ton of beach chairs, a cooler and reusable ice blocks. My kids (8 and 13) were kept busy (when we weren’t traveling the island) by the pool and putting green. Everyone had a proper place to sleep; 13 year old on pull out couch, 8 year old on day bed and my husband and I took the king size bed in the bedroom. The unit is conveniently located within the building, close to trash chute, elevators, putting green, parking, gym and pool. There is an ocean view from the balcony as well. We plan to stay here again given the opportunity. Mahalo!!!

Perfect stay with very minor improvements needed

This place is great and throughout our stay all communication with the host was 10/10. We really appreciated all the extras, such as suntan lotion and chairs. There's a full kitchen, with washer and dryer inside the unit. Some of the utensils were not 100% clean, but I blame the dishwasher for that, since the same happened to us when we used it. Perhaps an upgrade is needed. There were two AC units, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. The bedroom one was an older model and too loud for sleeping, so we just turned on the one in the living room and used the ceiling fan to circulate the air - that worked okay, not sure if it would be enough during the summer months though! The bed itself was very comfortable to sleep on. The furniture was a bit older overall and the light switches we found to be placed in some unexpected places we could never remember, but it didn't really bother us. Wi-Fi was working really well the entire time with fast internet. Never saw a single bug/fly inside, which is a big plus! The whole complex was very quiet, with multiple signs everywhere to remind everyone of quiet hours between 10pm and 8am. No wild parties! It's also placed in a really good location with tons of shops and restaurants only 2-3 minutes away. Would definitely stay again in the future! :)

Great value!

This condo fit our needs very well. We were traveling with 3 adults and one kid. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable. There is also a comfortable twin size bed that the third adult slept on in the living room. The hide a bed was as expected (uncomfortable as most hide a beds are). However, it worked fine for the 11 year old to sleep on. The owner was quick to respond with questions and was also kind enough not to charge us when we inadvertently broke a boogie board. I’m not sure if it was already damaged or not, but it broke within the first few minutes of use. We of course were a little stressed that we may have incurred an additional cost, but the owner was quick to respond and let us know that it was OK. The condo has nice view of the ocean that is nice to enjoy as you sip your morning coffee from the lanai. There are shuffle board courts to enjoy near the pool. You can check out the equipment by signing it out of the closets in the pool area. The only thing that could be better is that the unit could use a deep cleaning. I don’t feel that it was dirty, but there were some areas that could obviously use a little touching up. The most glaring being some clear plastic corner protectors on the corners of the wall that had some obvious long standing dirt behind them. I’m sure it is just things that you don’t think about and get missed on general cleaning like vacuuming, cleaning toilets, sinks, linen changes, ect. You know how it is different when it’s someone else’s dirt. I don’t know why it makes it more gross, but for some reason it does. If this unit had a deep cleaning I wouldn’t have any complaints.
