Beautiful rural property, comfortable, immaculate, extremely hospitable hosts. Watch the deer or dangle your toes in the Sequatchie River, or visit the nearby State Park. Extremely relaxing.

The Hosts are very nice & people oriented, they were there to greet us & bid farewell. The cottage is a nice size, in good shape & has excellent amenities! Very peaceful country setting to relax both indoors & outdoors with ample parking. My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would definitely return when we're in the area.

My wife and I stayed here and had the most wonderful time! Larry and Beverly are some of best hosts we have had and ensured throughout our visit that we had everything we needed and that the cottage was in top shape. From the beginning we were treated as if we were old friends. We definitely felt a calm and peaceful presence during our stay. We will definitely be back!

This was an amazing place to stay... The location was peaceful and delivered TN beauty in an amazing valley... It was comfortable, clean, unique and relaxing... Larry and Beverly met us when we arrived even though it was later in the evening and dark out... After traveling 800 miles it was a warm welcome and great conversation... Larry and Beverly are wonderful people and offered so much to make our stay special... We were welcomed by a personal sign, homemade soap and amazing homemade Apple Fritter bread in the refrigerator... The stars we could see on the porch at night were like nothing we had seen before. Our porch light was always on for us when we returned after dark to the cottage. What a nice touch...We had a lot of plans with family during the day so we regret not allowing more time to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the cottage in the valley...We plan to return again and spend more time enjoying this special place and all its beauty...Thank you Larry and Beverly for a weekend we will never forget. The entire stay was amazing! Clean, and it felt like home. It is in a great area to walk and the views are amazing! It will be our new spot when we visit our daughters and their family!

Girl’s weekend away

This was the absolute perfect place to relax and catch up. The location was beautiful and so peaceful. A wonderful getaway for us. The special treats and personal touches by the Maxwells were deeply appreciated.

Restful hollow

House was beautiful, hosts superbly welcoming. Literally on the Park's border, we could explore around here all day. This is a wonderful off-the-beaten-path refuge.

This wonderful sanctuary of peace and blessings along with the most gracious hosts Larry and Beverly made this trip so much more amazing. We came up not knowing what to expect and we are leaving with new friends that feels like family and are planning our next trip up there already. Peaceful cabin

Wonderful quaint cabin in an amazing setting. Full of flowers, hummingbirds, peaceful relaxation. Close to tons of hiking and golfing. Great place to relax and recharge with great and accommodating hosts.

The Valley

We absolutely loved our stay. The location was perfect and the hosts were awesome. We were greeted by the very nice and friendly owner and the best lemon loaf that I have ever eaten. We will definitely return.

The name says it all!

What a wonderful little hideaway in the valley! The cottage is very cozy, warm and relaxing. You could not ask for more beautiful surroundings. The owners are wonderful hosts, I can't wait to visit again!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Larry and Beverly were truly exceptional hosts. Hands down the best I’ve ever encountered. They went above and beyond in every way and you can tell how much thought and care they put into making guests feel welcome. The space was comfortable, cozy, and had so many personal touches that make a trip feel special.We really, really enjoyed our time here and can’t recommend it enough. If you’re thinking of booking, do it. You’ll be glad you did!

Wonderful Tennessee Cabin

The cabin is located in a beautiful, private valley. Great location to go do anything you want to do in Tennessee. Lots of great things to do within a short drive. Larry and Beverly are great host. Very helpful. We had a great time.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We loved everything about this lovely cottage and enjoyed meeting Larry and Beverly. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed privacy and also their responsive attentiveness when we reached out. With the covered deck, this is a great place to stay no matter the weather. The cottage, the view, and the whole property are all wonderful. Thank you for the hospitality!

The owners, Larry and Beverly, were wonderful hosts. We were welcomed with a sweet sign and delicious, homemade banana bread. This was the cleanest home-away-from-home we've been in thus far. Beverly's handmade soaps were a nice touch and we liked them so well, we bought several to take home with us. The area is beautiful and serene. Nature is the only sound you'll hear. We saw plenty of deer and turkey while out and about in the area. There are a billion stars to see at night and the sound of the creek is so peaceful. We will definitely be staying here again. It is a favorite!

Tennessee Hospitality

Beautiful, secluded cabin nestled in the Sequatchie Valley. Hosts treated us to the epitome of Tennessee hospitality and some scrumptious hummingbird muffins. Highly recommend for a quick getaway or lengthy stay. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent

I only wish I could have stayed longer. Very quiet and peaceful cottage was very clean and charming. Larry and Beverly couldn't have been any nicer and Beverly's pumpkin muffins are to die for. Hope to come back in the future.

Highly recommend

My husband and I work highly stressful jobs and needed a place to relax and enjoy a beautiful atmosphere. The views were spectacular from the cottage. The special touches from Larry and Beverly were so appreciated-homemade muffins, homemade soap, and the special greeting when we arrived. They were the perfect hosts and the cottage was beyond our expectations. Thank you!
